Beautiful home! Pool and outdoor area were perfect for our group. We had only 3-5 wash cloths for a 2 week stay for 8 adults. Quick trip to Costco and we purchased more. We left about 10 new ones for the next guests. We found that the kitchen was lacking in cooking items. Ceiling fan in twin bedroom needs replaced. Over all we were happy.

Overall, the stay was good. The sheets on the beds were not matching and the wrong sizes, which we found odd; there were no mixing/storage bowls in the kitchen, and there were a lot of odd and end dishes that a person wouldn't use. The lanai ceiling fan did not work, the exhaust fan above the outdoor grill did not work the toaster did not work. We did call our property contact and she put an order in, but maintenance didn't fix it. We bought a toaster and took it with us, my husband fixed the ceiling fan, and we had to request a broom, mop, and vacuum because there was nothing at the property. Eventually, our contact quit responding to us, so we had to put a complaint in to her supervisor, Adrian, who was fantastic!!

We started out with fishy smell in the refrigerator. While putting food away, the icy liquid in the bottoms of the freezer melted and it was fishy water( I guess) House keeping missed this. Once we got the freezer cleaned up and bought 2 boxes of soda, the smell finally left after 3-4 days! The refrigerator was missing a drawer, and was very small. Suggestion: second refrigerator in the garage for drinks. The dishwasher was not hooked to the side cabinets and we had to remove a screw to get the door to shut. Did use only once. Water in the washer is switched. Cold setting is warm-hot and warm setting is coldSuggestions: do not use white towels or wash rags and add more wash rags. Had to keep doing laundry to have clean ones. Both propane tanks were empty. We did have one filled. For longer stays, a vacuum sweeper would have been handy to have!! The caroets were not cleaned for a month, but did use the broom in the floors. The pictures in VRBO did not show how bad the felt was on the pool table and did not show how big the table was in that room, so playing pool was no fun.

HORRIBLE house issues and property management company,

We had several severe issues that were never addressed by the property management company. Issues that included a non working washing machine, dishwasher and possible black mold in the kitchen. I called, emailed, etc and our issues were never taken care of during our stay. I sent a letter to property management company requesting a partial refund for our stay due to all the non-working appliances and they did not respond. Ironically there motto is Focused, Responsive and Simple. Would not recommend staying at this property at all.

Thank you for sharing your insight with us, although we must respectfully disagree with your assessment. This particular home is meticulously maintained, with our property manager conducting thorough inspections before each guest arrival to ensure it is cleaned and everything is in good condition. When we were informed about the situation, we immediately had someone stop by to conduct an inspection. Our team confirmed that everything was in accordance and even demonstrated that all concerned amenities were, in fact, working. We understand your concerns, and we take them seriously. However, we can assure you that we are committed to providing a high standard of service to all our guests. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future. Best regards, Roelens Vacations

Good, but could be better

The home is clean and in a great location. Sunrises and sunsets are amazing to enjoy on the lanai. We fought the pool and hot tub not maintaining temp. Either the spa was much too warm or luke warm. We figured out how to manage it after about day 3. Not a deal breaker, it was still lovely to have for the week. The toaster was broken, coffee pot was broke (there was a super cheap back up one we used that was available), and other amenities like the bikes and fishing poles were broke and became not an amenity. Given 1 garbage bag for the week, no dish soap (maybe forgotten as we did get a kitchen sponge), no extra toilet paper. Beach towels were plenty and so were towels. That was great. Overall, the stay was good, just could have been much better had the things advertised to be there would work, and had they provided simple things like garbage bags.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, and we appreciate your understanding. We're glad to hear that you found our home clean and enjoyed its great location, along with the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets on the lanai. Regarding the pool and hot tub temperature, we're pleased to inform you that we've created a video guide for easy navigation, allowing you to adjust it to your preference at any time. While we provide a starter pack of basic supplies to help you get started, we understand that additional items may be needed during your stay, which guests may need to acquire themselves. As for the amenities that seemed to have issues, they were in working order during our regular inspection; however, to ensure your satisfaction, we've promptly replaced them. We're delighted that overall, your stay was good, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again, providing an even better experience. Best regards, Roelens Vacations

Beautiful home in a safe neighborhood! Only about a 10-15minute drive to Sanibel Island. Had all the needed amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. only problem was ants in the house, but is somewhat expected in Florida. Overall the house, pool and hot tub were fantastic!

Awesome Vacation

There were 7 of us and we had a great time and made some great memories. The rental company was great. Answered any questions we had in a very quick manor. The house was spacious and clean. A few negatives are no pantry, black ants throughout the inside and outside. There were two closets that were locked which was odd. The garbage can in the kitchen was way to small. All in all we had a great time and would recommend and would stay again.

Hey Jarvis! Thank you for staying with us at Villa Mayfair, it was a pleasure to host you and your loved ones. I am so glad the office was able to assist you with your questions. This great space does have a pest control contract in the event something like ants were to become a concern. We would have been happy to dispatch that vendor had those been brought to our attention. The 2 locked closest in the Villa are standard for these types of homes as owners have personal belongings. Thank you for your feedback, It would be wonderful to see you again soon! It was perfect I could do everything right there outside while watching my family have a wonderful time swimming in the beautiful pool. Walking distance to the yatch club or the property even had some bicycles to ride around the neighborhood. Definitely recommend!
