Absolutely loved our stay here. Spent 4 nights and was just perfect for what we needed. Fantastic location. All amenities as described and very comfortable. We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: we rented 2 properties for the MotoGP weekend 2023 this was the second property, only draw back was the internet and phone coverage was very poor.

Beach getaway

Fabulous location, no need to worry about finding a parking space at the beach. Rustic but comfortable. Happy days spent here.

Unpleasant weekend

We came to this property with 3.5 month old twins as advised upon booking. When arriving to the house there was a bad smell as though the house hadn’t had anyone enter it in months. The house was completely covered in dust and has not been cleaned . It was very frustrating as this trip ended in 4 out of 7 people being sick due to the dust and sneezing uncontrollably. I understand covid has caused properties to be vacant for sometime but it is unacceptable to not air the house out prior to having anyone stay. Secondly we had no hot water for hours and called multiple times for help but were rudely told to try again and the matter was not taken seriously. This is unacceptable and not what was paid for. After a long drive we were only able to shower the next day and even then the hot water stopped working again. This also affected our ability to cook which was very disappointing as this was meant to be a peaceful weekend away with family. To add to all this there was no coverage at all at the property and we could not receive or make calls while inside the house. This should be stated upon booking to ensure people are aware. Upon arrival the house and linen was not clean and if anything when checking out we cleaned it better than how we got it. I and my family are extremely unhappy and dissatisfied that our holiday was ruined due to a lack of preparation upon our arrival and i would not recommend this place to anybody if the matter is not immediately addressed. I would expect an immediate response and some form of compensation due to all of the troubles incurred upon staying here as we did not get our moneys worth. Unfortunately for our first holiday since lock down ended this weekend was not what we expected.

Hi Sharmila, I am only just aware of the other problems you mention regarding the sneezing, phone coverage, the fact that you had twins (you had only booked for 7 adults and one child ). Regarding the linen, you told us that you would bring your own linen and towels and the bedding and the property was cleaned prior to your arrival. The sneezing could have been from the trees surrounding the property, perhaps an allergy? As to the hot water, the power had been turned off for safety and it was unfortunate that you had to wait a few hours for the water to heat up. There are many other residences in that area and there is phone coverage in the area, but no wifi which was stated. We feel that we did address your concerns and tried to call you the next day to check but no-one answered our calls.

Great location easy access to the beach

This is a lovely timber house with easy access to the surf beach. Our family enjoyed the stay. Children loved the convenience of surfing just 5 mins walk away. The coffee is just around the corner, adjacent to the surfing shop with all that needed to enjoy the waves.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the pool table, close distance to the beach and wide verandah of this beach house. It has an old-fashioned beach house charm. Great place for kids, but could have a bit more attention to detail: simple things like making sure there is ample dishwashing detergent, salt and pepper, a full gas bottle, doonas with top covers and airing the house to remove the musty smell would have made a huge difference to making the place feel loved.

Great and cosy house close the beach. Loved the pool table and thé cleanliness of the property
