We strive to ensure our guests have a positive experience throughout their stay. - We have had many positive comments on our simple and non-obtrusive check-in/check-out procedures. Guests are emailed entry instructions shortly before arrival and are encouraged to reply with any questions or concerns. We are available 24/7 and work hard to resolve any issues quickly while the guests are in residence, allowing them to enjoy their trip. - We also work hard to ensure the property is well prepared for guests in terms of cleanliness and amenities. We were disheartened to only now hear about the cleanliness of the house. - We have already advised our cleaning company about your experience and they have conducted additional training with the staff that cleans our house to avoid this issue in the future. - We’re sorry to hear you were not comfortable on the master bed. Since everyone has different preferences regarding mattresses, we’ve put a sleep number bed in the master bedroom. This mattress allows guests to adjust the firmness and seems to be a positive aspect for many. - The yard is regularly mowed and trimmed by a professional lawn care company, but unfortunately, the weather in Florida can be finicky. Heavy rains made it impossible to mow before your arrival, but luckily, our lawn care company visits as soon as possible after large storms occur to help keep the vegetation looking beautiful. - Like most locations, trash pickup occurs once per week. Unfortunately, your check-in date just happened to align with the trash pickup occurring the following morning. We do provide a second large trash container for the convenience of the guests for these situations in which trash day and check-in align.

Hi Kari, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We have followed up with our house cleaning company and they changed the cleaner who now services our house. They apologized profusely and assured us that it will not happen again. - We provide a universal remote that works for all the devices with instructions so you should not have needed to purchase batteries. - Regarding the disposal, I communicated with you while you were in residence and you stated that the disposal was working properly. We had a handyman out as soon as possible after your stay and there were no issues whatsoever. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!
