En nyrenoveret lejlighed med udsigt over floden Sorgue i den livlige by L'isle sur la Sorgue. Den lyse og rummelige ejendom på første sal på 300 kvadratmeter har udsigt mod Mont Ventoux mod nord og over det gamle centrum af byen mod syd.
Indkvarteringen omfatter opholdsstue med plads til afslapning, et køkken og spiseplads. Der er et separat soveværelse med dobbeltseng (160x200 cm med ny madras i 2019) og et eget toilet, håndvask og bruser.
Vaskemaskine, opvaskemaskine, ovn, køleskab osv. ...
Gratis parkering er tilgængelig direkte foran bygningen og på den store parkeringsplads et par skridt væk på den modsatte side af floden. I en middelalderby som L'isle sur la Sorgue er dette en reel fordel.

Wonderful experience!

Very clean, and perfectly located apartment. The unit is very well equiped, with all essentials provided. You are just steps away from all that the village has to offer, and public parking just across the street is an added benefit. Well insulated for restful sleep and relaxation, even though just a very short walk to all the action.

For the young maybe

Nice small apartment away from the hustle and bustle but within easy walking distance to town centre market and restaurants. Parking close by and reasonably accessible. Kitchen and supplies excellent. Clothes washer very useful. Good for short stays. Bathroom requires flexiblity to use and best if you are young.

We really enjoyed our stay at Christine and Thierry’s apartment in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The apartment is in town so you can walk to several shops and restaurants. It is well stocked with everything one would need to make meals, enjoy wine, or relax. The apartment overlooks the river and there is free public parking nearby. This is the second time we have stayed at this location and would stay here again on our next trip to the region.

A Wonderful Visit

The village is a real treat with its shops, water wheels, antique shops and restaurants. Perfect in every way

The apartment was ideal for us in its location and well thought out attention to detail. A stream just outside where you can sit with a glass of wine and paddle your feet in the crystal clear water.3 min walk to all the restaurants and bars.

Everything Was Wonderful!

It was fun to meet Christine and her introduction to the apartment and the city was wonderful. The very clean apartment is so comfortable with every amenity needed. The apartment is right next to a canal and we enjoyed sitting on a bench watching the Water Wheel. The walk to the lovely old town is about 5 minutes. The City was our favorite of the 4 we visited. The restaurants are excellent and the Sunday Market is truly an unbelievable event. We would go back for sure!

Two weeks in L’isle Sur La Sorgue

Christine and Thierry’s apartment was the perfect home during our stay. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure everything worked perfectly. Christine came to visit us upon our arrival to explain the apartment as well as local activities. The apartment was clean and accurate to the VRBO description. The kitchen was well appointed, allowing home cooked meals. A small washer and dryer made laundry super easy. It’s small, so just be careful not to overload it. A huge bonus is the free parking just across the river. It made our daily excursions easy and stress free. L’isle Sur La Sorgue is lovely. Much authentic Provencial experiences within the town but never feeling touristy. We loved our stay and Christine and Thierry were perfect hosts!

Tranquille

Petit appart très sympa ! Je voulais un endroit où je ne devait pas prendre de voiture pour visiter, aller manger un bout et boire un petit coup. Très tranquille, bon lit, mon seul bémol est sur la cuisine, évier rectangulaire sans possibilité de remplir et où il reste toujours un peu d'eau. Pour le reste c'est parfait.

Quaint town!

We enjoyed the quiet location and ease of parking (free) for this location on the north side of town. The owner met us on arrival and supplied a lot of information. The town's Thursday Market was lovely! We are clean freaks, & would've given it 5 stars, but the floor cleaning must've been missed.

Beautiful Le Sorgue

Thanks very much to hosts, Christina & Thierry who met us at the apartment. They were lovely, friendly and helpful. Property was everything we could have asked for. Although had all the modern conveniences that we needed, it also had the character of the area that we wanted. Lovely apartment, great location, highly recommended. Christuna & Thierry, a note of thanks to you both for being lovely and thoughful hosts and providing us with a beautiful traditional apartment. Sorry not able to send a private note as continuing issues with our email. We hope to return.

Beautiful Aparment

We really enjoyed our 6-night stay in this wonderful apartment. It was a perfect base and we loved coming back to the small-town feel of Sorgues after our busy day trips. Christine meet with us on arrival and showed us the layout of the apartment and gave great advice about local attractions. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Great location.

The location in Lisle sur la Sorgue could not be better. We were within a few minutes walk of every restaurant and shop in the old city. We checked in with Christine who was very nice but only speaks French. I could understand enough of what she said from my limited French but my husband couldn’t. We understand that property managers don’t need to speak English but a few phrases or words would help. The biggest disappointment in the rental is not their fault but ours. We didn’t notice online that there was no a/c and it was unusually hot and humid for October. Christine suggested we open the windows for cross ventilation which we tried the first night. Unfortunately it was an unusual season for mosquitoes and i was eaten alive. After that no windows were opened. Finally we asked Christine for a fan which she promptly brought us and saved the day. The rental was suppose to include once a week linen change. After the first week when no one came, we changed the sheets and washed them ourselves. Christine did offer to change them but two days after we already did it and never offered again. Upon check out we were asked to wash all the dishes and put them back in the cabinets as well as to take out all the garbage and recycles. Don’t understand if you pay for cleaning why you would have to do these things especially when you’re trying to get packed and out of there to catch a train. I know I must sound like I’m nitpicking but we have a rental house and always make sure the renter doesn’t have to do anything. And always include a bottle of wine and a basket of goodies at check in. Not necessary but a nice gesture. The apartment itself, while small, met all our needs - plenty of utensils and pots and pans for cooking. And the most adorable single drawer dishwasher which was perfect for two people. Best of all it had a washer which is suppose to dry too but we didn’t use the dryer part.

Lovely canal side apartment!

The lovely host, Christine picked us up at the train station when we arrived. The apartment is one floor up in a very clean and well appointed building, you can walk to anything from here. The train station is actually only a 10 minute walk away. Bed was very big and super comfortable and the shower was great. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Alles hat gestimmt

Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes, sehr sauberes und sehr gut eingerichtetes Studio (App.) unmittelbar am Fluss Sourge in unmittelbarer Zentrumsnähe des Ortes. Christine und Thierry sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wenn es etwas zu klären gibt. Wir haben uns dort ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt.

Venice of the south

We spent 3 nights in Ilse sur la Sorgue and were not disappointed. The location was perfect, with restaurants and shops all within a few minutes walking distance. The location on the canal led to quiet moments of reading on the bench as a break from shopping and eating. Check-in was great, and Thierry kindly met us at the train station. The apartment had everything we needed and was well-equipped. We will stay there again we we visit Sorgue. Thank you Thierry and Christine.

Eine sehr typische Stadt im Süden Frankreichs

Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, die Ausstattung ist vollkommen ausreichend, lediglich das Bad ist sehr eng. Schlafzimmer und Wohnraum sind gemütlich, die Küche ist sehr geschmackvoll. Die Sicht auf die sorgue ist einfach klasse, Besorgungen zu Fuss sind super Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr gut geeignet.

L'Isle-sur- la Sorgue Apartment

We had an excellent stay at this charming, clean, well equipped and organized apartment. It has every convenience and appliance. I love the Senseo coffeemaker with large supply of docettes. The hosts were attentive and accommodating. On the street side we had windows overlooking a waterwheel on the canal. On the courtyard side was lots of light and a preschool. It was peaceful at night and we slept well with the comfortable bed and nice linens and double pillows. The location is perfect and you can walk everywhere. We were on a bike tour and the apartment is also a perfect base for riding out to Gordes, Avignon or the source of the Sorgue. I highly recommend this apartment and these hosts. A very good value.

This property has the benefit of being recently renovated and is ideally located to allow access to all the towns services and attractions. There is ample parking close by if you have a car. If you like the look and location of this apartment, but feel it is not large enough to accommodate your family or party, there is a solution. The entire building was renovated by us to the same high standard and some of the other apartments we sold upon completion are being rented out as holiday accommodation by the new owners. If you want to keep your entire group in one building I can arrange for the others to be located in one of the other apartments, this of course would depend on availability. I will not charge any commission for this service and payment would be made directly to the apartment owner.

Quiet but not isolated, this apartment will be the ideal starting point for exploring our beautiful region.
