What a convenient setting, such a pretty house it is so nice to have a Creekside view and walking distance to the village of warm Springs. The kitchen was so well appointed!

This is a lovely, well equipped, cozy cottage! The back yard is amazing and the location to Warm Springs and Hot Springs is perfect. It is on a busy street where the speed limit is 55 but the owner provides ample parking away from the street. We would definitely stay there again!! Communication with the owners was exceptional!

Lovely house, very well appointed with everything in the kitchen you could ever need. Good set up with a bathroom for each bedroom. We loved the creek running through the backyard and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable Accommodation

Three of us stayed in the Charming Cottage while attending a Chamber Music weekend nearby at Garth Newel Music Center. The cottage is in a very attractive and peaceful location. The beds are comfortable. We found everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We appreciated the reminder to bring our own linens and towels.

SUP Girls Annual Paddle

This home was just perfect for our group. Super comfortable beds and 3 full bathrooms made it easy for 6 ladies to get showered and ready for dinner very quickly after a full day on the lake. The home was well appointed and so charming. We really enjoyed the outside space and in particular the running water in the creek. So peaceful & relaxing

wonderful cottage

House was as described. It is close to the main road, so light sleepers might want to bring ear plugs (though the road was not heavily traveled at night). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed. Management was a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to the next visit!

Warm Springs

Enjoyed warm springs area . Nice restaurants and locations nearby . We enjoyed the winery and Homestead in Hot Springs . Loved seeing the Falling Springs Falls . The home has a lovely stream behind the house that was enjoyable with the small waterfall . The sound from the waterfall was very relaxing . We also enjoyed a bonfire and smores

Crooked Bend exceeded expectations

The house was comfortable and clean. The back porch was relaxing with a nice view. We saw a mother deer with her offspring several times, numerous birds including Eastern Bluebirds and enjoyed the spring run on the property. The kitchen is fantastic.

Cross Run

We enjoyed our weekend in Warm Springs. The house was very cozy and clean. Enjoyed the spring in the backyard and the warm wood stove. The host was friendly and helpful with any information needed. Thank you. We hope to be back again

A Simply Lovely House

The house was five minutes from the rehearsal dinner at The Inn at Warm Springs and the ceremony and reception at Oakley Farm for our son's wedding. The house was clean, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. The stream behind the house was great to wake up to each day. It was the perfect place for this special occasion.

Beautiful house, felt like home

Nicely decorated and comfortable home in a picturesque valley with a small stream running through the yard. Home was very comfortable with everything we needed. The owner obviously wants guests to feel at home. The home has plenty of space. The full baths in two bedrooms are a real bonus. Everything nicely done!

Spacious

Check in and out seamless. Historic charm abounds. Modern heat, AC, kitchen and appliances. Ample bathrooms.Weekend Wedding stay with sisters and their husbands. No tack on fees which was refreshing. Bring towels, sheets, and blankets.

What a wonderful place to stay. Mornings on the rear deck overlooking the creek(with mixed warm water from Warm Spring Pool fed). Afternoons on the side deck out of the sun. Nights by the firepit looking at the stars. House was extremely well appointed with everything we needed. Listing states three beadrooms, but in addition has a closed in porch with day bed. Within walking distance of town and a very good resterant, but get reservations early. Milk Dairy Market has the best sandwiches ever made, just down the road. I cannot give this rental enough stars.

Piece of Heaven on earth

After my mom passed, I need a some time to catch my breath. I could not have asked for a better spot. The house is beautiful and the creek in the back makes a beautiful view. My boys, 3 & 5, spent a long weekend here. The front sun porch was their favourite spot after the deck and yard. I look forward to returning again soon.

Fantastic weekend! Wonderful home.

Crooked Run was a wonderful weekend retreat, we were sorry we couldn’t stay longer! The house was sparking clean, Beth was an excellent host, check in and out a breeze. The house was well equipped and very comfortable - the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots/pans/dishes/utensils we could have wanted. We cooked at home all weekend s we have two hungry teenage boys. And from the grill to the fire pit to the stream to the short walk to warm spirit spa for a massage - the house and location were perfect. We’re already dreaming of our next trip.

Stay by the highway

The backyard location by warm springs is beautiful. But there are no places to sit by the creek or in yard and not even one umbrella on the deck (as was in ad picture) so you could enjoy being out there from 11-6. I was told to bring sheets and towels, not a blanket. There were none. The noise from the road of constant trucks was overwhelming.

We are sorry this did not meet your expectations. There are many light weight Adirondack chairs on the deck that are easily moved to the fire pit area or creekside but cannot be left by the water as it often floods with heavy rains. None of our photos show an umbrella on the deck - maybe it was confused with another listing but there are lovely shade trees in the side yard. The description and confirmation notice clearly states that no linens are provided and only mattress protectors and pillows with protectors are on the beds but we will take steps to make sure that is more clearly stated for future guests. We are always available by phone or email to answer questions, describe homes, locations and amenities and help in anyway we can to make sure your visit is a good one!

Lovely in Every Way

Crooked Run is one of my favorite rental stays, hands down. What a gem of a property in a fantastic location in Warm Springs. From Crooked Run, it's a 3-minute drive to the famous bath houses. The house is built next to a busy road, but the owners have a wonderfully maintained fenced yard where children or dogs can safely play and provide the most beautiful views for parents. The rustic-chic house interior is well-appointed and will remind you of a home in a decorating magazine. The antique furniture throughout the home is beautiful. I want to return because of the property's location and the views. Warm Springs is an outdoorsman's paradise; the valley and hills are picture-perfect. It's like a pleasant dream come true.

A Relaxing stay near the Springs

The kitchen in the home is incredibly well stocked . The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The yard is fantastic and so big. We actually walked along the stream to eat at the Water Wheel restaurant and to have a hot stone massage. Both places are tops! We enjoyed the huge deck where one could be in the sun or in the shade. We ate many meals outside. We do wish there had been a gas grill; the little charcoal one in the yard was not what we needed. The only drawback is the busy road during the day. Cars drive very fast so backing out of the ample parking or walking down the road to the "town" is difficult. The location is so near the renovated Spring bath houses and we had great take-out from the Dairy cafe. The Homestead resort is just a short drive away. We recommend this vrbo!!!
