Wonderful weekend

Myself and 3 friends had a girls weekend away and the house was perfect. Had everything we needed. The views were amazing and so relaxing. You could go for walks along the rocks/beach or just relax on the balcony. We had the added bonus of having two whales arrive and spend ages playing right out the front of the house on Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location, great house for a small group.

We had a fantastic time, walking the beach, sitting on the deck in the sunshine enjoying the great view. It was awesome. We would recommend to others.

A must!

The property was exactly as the photos suggested. It was right on the water and it was clean, spacious and quiet! Would recommend to anyone looking for a low-key South Coast getaway.

Location ideal but some TLC needed

The location of the property is ideal - right at a beach and headland, with wonderful views of the ocean, but we felt it needed a little TLC, and could have been cleaner. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the description of the property does not include mention of the rooms downstairs that are locked, that you have no access to. In effect, YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE WHOLE PROPERTY. It was raining at the time of our arrival, so we were annoyed to discover that you could not access the property via downstairs - the downstairs door is marked “PRIVATE” and you have no key to it, so we were forced to take all our bags up the outdoor stairs, which are extremely slippery in the rain. Also, the downstairs deck is only accessible via the bedroom downstairs or by going down the front outdoor stairs and walking around the back of the house. The only rooms downstairs that you have access to are 2 bedrooms, bathroom and the laundry. The windows could do with a good clean as well as the outside of the property. The location was ideal but some TLC is definitely needed and the property description needs to be corrected. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs but all the living areas are upstairs, this property would not suit anyone with a wheelchair or anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

Beautiful views

The views from and location of Penzance were fantastic. Unfortunately we had quite a few problems with the electrical wiring- requiring an electrician to attend friday night and then we continually had to re-set the electrical circuit over the weekend, if we put more than the fridge and one other appliance on the same circuit. Then the dishwasher completely stopped! So we were rather frustrated. It probably needs an upgrade!

Needs some updating

Penzance is in a great location but, given the cost of the accommodation, could really do with an update, especially the bathrooms. Something as simple as a good clean of the windows would allow the place to shine more (and accentuate the amazing view). We actually booked two houses for our stay and the other house (not far away, in the same street, same stunning view, also 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms) was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Penzance did not compare and yet it cost more.

Stunning Location

Great Place with excellent location which closes to the sea, easily watch the sunrise just on your own deck. Suitable for the whole family or closed friends. Overall, really enjoyed the whole holiday when staying in this property.

Great Location

This is the second time we have stayed at Penzance. Middle of July the weather was sensational, views are brilliant and couldn't ask for more with the accommodation. We'll be back form sure AAAAAA+++++++++

Great Stay

This was a great stay for our family of 7 people. The location is second to none. We enjoyed the beaches and the quiet, with only the surf to listen to at night. I would recommend shopping for groceries before arriving as it is a bit of a drive otherwise. The kitchen is well-stocked, but for some reason we couldn't find the can opener. Let the rental company know if you need anything. They are very responsive. The laundry room was locked on arrival, but Hamish was great to work with and quickly took care of us. Beds were comfortable. We would stay there again despite the expense. The property is as listed and the pictures provide a realistic representation of what you get when you arrive. Well done!!
