Nice stay in lovely location

The small unit was perfect for a 2 day stay whilst at a wedding in Mitchelton Winery.

Beautiful cottage stay

Clean, cosy cottage that had everything that we needed. Lois and Mick, and their gorgeous dog Maggie, were brilliant hosts.

Beautiful property with lovely hosts

Idyllic location with stunning views, we enjoyed sitting down by the water with breakfast and evening drinks. Cottage has everything you need and the hosts were very friendly and generous. Would love to stay again one day!

Wonderful stay. Stunning cottage & hosts

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is divine and the scenery is just stunning. The hosts added to the experience, such beautiful genuine people who just want you to experience and enjoy their backyard as much as they do. Could not recommend this stay more highly.

Peaceful and scenic getaway

I booked our stay here because I needed a short quiet getaway, and that’s what we got. From the moment we got there our hosts were friendly and welcoming , the accommodation was modern and clean with gorgeous view of the Goulburn weir in our backyard. Highly recommend for anyone after somewhere quiet with a beautiful view.Thank you Lois, Mick and your lovely friendly dog Maggie for our amazing stay

Great spot to get away

Both Lois and Mick were brilliant down to earth hosts. The cabin had everything you could possibly need with a very relaxing outlook. It was clear that our hosts had thought about so many little things that make a guests stay a comfortable one.

Goulburn

Great venue. Nice to be in the country by a lake. The owners are wonderful people and made sure we had everything we needed. Their dog Maggie was also welcoming.

Absolutely Wonderful !!

Lois and Mick are wonderful hosts and we had a great time. The property is nice and comfortable, with direct access to the water for fishing. Maggie, the resident dog is lovely and please give her many many pats !! Will definitely be back for more stays. Highly recommended.

Cosy and very comfortable with a beautiful outlook.

Lois and Mick are great hosts - very welcoming and pay great attention to detail. Well equipped, cosy and comfortable accommodation with nice deck overlooking the river. Some lovely extras like milk and delicious biscuits. Highly recommend.

Goulburn Weir River Cottage

What a lovely cottage on the Goulburn Weir. Both Lois & Mick were very welcoming and the cottage was well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. It had a beautiful outlook onto the Goulburn Weir River as well. We will definitely be coming back. Sarah.

Lakeside getaway

This cozy unit is right on the edge of the lake. We enjoyed our morning breakfasts on our decking. In the evening we sat on the decking over the water sipping our wine enjoying the sunsets and birds.The area is great for walking and visiting the local wineries. Fishing and water sports are also available as well a good variety of restaurants. Our hosts were friendly and caring.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay at Mick & Lois' Cottage very much! The cottage is immaculate, with a lovely kitchinette, and a spacious ensuite. We slept very well throughout the night and during the day, we soaked in the peace and quiet. Mick and Lois are welcoming hosts and their little dog, Maggie is a joy to pet and cuddle. We will definitely return. Thank you both.

We were very lucky to have Natalia and Remus as our guests in in river cottage, they were very respectful of our cottage and left it pristine. We enjoyed our chats with them both and are welcome anytime and can highly recommend Natalia and Remus to future hosts

What a wonderful hidden treasure.

What can I say about this lovely, scrupulously maintained property, it’s like a luxury hotel in the country. A beautiful view of the weir, as it is winter I had lovely sunsets and misty mornings.The property has a small but useful kitchen with microwave and BBQ. Built in outlets for my phone charger, good tv reception. All in all very comfy and quiet.

Perfect location!!

Lois and Mick were absolutely delightful and so welcoming to us, it almost makes us sad that we have to say goodbye to them! The cabin overlooks the lake and is just in the most serene location with everything that you need close by! For those who enjoy fishing this is definitely a place for you! We caught massive yellow bellies on the Goulburn river and have had a fun time doing so! This is definitely a location we want to come back to, not only to see mick and Lois but because it is so peaceful and is an escape from day to day life! Thank you for having us!!

We highly recommend Charlotte to future hosts, our experience has just wonderful.our cabin was treated with respect and left in a very clean and tidy manner. We loved the fire pit at night.

Mick and Lois are lovely hosts. All the reviews about Lois' biscuits are accurate, they are delicious. The unit was impeccable and homely. We had a great stay, thanks. We will be back.

Great stay, great hosts!

I arrived late at night at the property and was welcomed so nicely by Lois and Mick! They are so accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was taken care of (even offering me transportation!) The place was sparkling clean and had all the necessities one desires on a trip away. I can’t wait to visit again for longer next time and catch up with these lovely hosts. Studio apartment getaway

Peaceful, comfortable, welcoming. Our hosts Mick and Lois couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We had a really lovely time and intend to revisit in the cooler months to continue exploring the area.

Great Getaway

Had a great stay. Property is modern and extremely well kept. Our hosts were terrific, very friendly, made us feel very welcome. The views of the lake were great, a very peaceful relaxing place to stay. Will be back.

Beautiful riverfront location

Spotless and well maintained. Great location. Loved sitting on the private jetty with our wines. Definitely coming back!
