Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify a few items for future guests. The items mentioned regarding hallway trim and exterior work are related to HOA-managed projects, not individual units. There was a significant water heater incident on an upper floor that required repairs, and some common area work is still in progress. Additionally, the association has been completing painting and dock restoration projects following hurricane damage. While we understand this can be inconvenient at times, the timing and scope of this work are entirely outside of our control as we do not manage the HOA. Regarding the dock, it is currently being rebuilt and improved, and once completed, it will be a great enhancement to the property. As for the shower drain, we were not made aware of this issue during your stay. We have attempted routine maintenance on it previously, but will now be having a plumbing company take a closer look to ensure it is fully resolved for future guests. We appreciate your feedback and your understanding as the community continues to complete these larger-scale improvements.

While we are sorry to hear that the weather wasn't ideal during your stay, that's out of our control obviously. Same goes for restaurants on the water. Since the restaurant is comprised of just one outside deck and it was cold and raining, it makes sense that they would shut down early. However, we do feel it’s a bit unfair to rate our condo based on factors outside of our control. We hope the accommodations were satisfactory and wish you the best in your future travels.
