Wonderful Family Cabin Stay! We had a very pleasant stay at the Big Boulder Cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and spending time together around the fire pit.

Our 3 generation family had a wonderful time. We enjoyed hiking, campfire, and hot tub all without having to leave Creekview. A couple of tips… it took us over a day to figure out that the lights in the kitchen /eating area have dimmers. Don’t be like us and curse the darkness. Pay attention at the top of the loft stairs the steps blend in with the hardwood floor.

This is exactly the kind of family trip our home is made for! Having everybody together enjoying the trails, campfire, and hot tub without needing to leave the property sounds like such a wonderful getaway. Your tips about the kitchen dimmers and the top of the loft stairs are genuinely helpful too and I’m sure future travelers will appreciate you sharing them. Thanks so much for staying with us, and we’d be thrilled to welcome your family back anytime you're in the area!

We loved Big Boulder! We are a family of 6, including 4 boys. The boys slept in the loft area which was also their hangout. Very nice space with 2 queen beds in partitions that made them feel like separate bedrooms, and a pullout couch. It was nice to have the separate air conditioner and a nice bathroom upstairs. Downstairs were 2 nice bedrooms used by grandparents and my husband and me, with comfortable beds. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, bathroom and kitchen supplies. The cabin was very clean, had an awesome wrap around porch with hammock swings which we loved! The hot tub was a circle shape and could hold 6 comfortably. The property was in a prime location, only minutes to food and things to do. The property had trails and a creek and is ideal if traveling with multiple families since there are several cabins onsite. We loved Big Boulder!

Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re truly glad Big Boulder worked so well for your family; it sounds like the loft became the perfect retreat for the boys, and we’re happy the layout and extra space made everyone comfortable. Hearing that the cabin felt clean, well‑stocked, and welcoming means a lot to us. The porch swings, hot tub, and trails are some of our favorite features too, and we’re happy to hear they added to your stay. We appreciate you choosing our property and would be delighted to host your family again!

Was a remarkable stay. House was as described. Hot tub was a bonus after long days. Beds were very comfortable. Only issue was the tv in living room was not working. But overall a great place to relax after enjoying the day with all the hiking trials. Will stay again if in the area.

The cabin was nice the fire pit was nice the location was close to most things. There were mice in the stove each night and fecal matter in the stove and under the stove. Management sent some to clean the rodent fecal matter off the floor but we were not comfortable eating there or having our stuff in the cabin. They didn’t find were the rodents were getting in and plug it to keep this from happening to the next guest. If our children were there they would have been crawling on the floor in the fecal matter. We were offered a call which never came. After I called multiple times they offered us 100 but no call. After I rejected the 100 they called and left a message but I was over it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry that rodent activity affected your stay, that’s not the experience we want for any guest. Our team cleaned the areas immediately after being notified, and maintenance has been working to identify and address potential entry points to prevent this from happening again. We’re also reviewing the communication delay you mentioned to ensure better follow‑through in the future. We appreciate your feedback and the chance to improve.
