Very clean, easy to check into. Photos do not capture the amazing view from the front balcony or the size of this place. Much larger than expected which was welcomed. Highly recommend for a weekend away from it all.

Wonderful experience

This property was an amazing experience! We loved sitting outside on the patio watching the wildlife. The hill country views were wonderful. The home was very comfortable and inviting.

Perfect house

We loved and enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless clean and we had amazing communication with host. The sunsets from the house are priceless and breathtaking. Totally will recommend this house and come back

Top of the hill property

We only got to stay here for 3 nights. Overall, it's very high-end property with the location (on top of a hill) and the finishes inside. If it had a pool, it would be just amazing :-)

A beautiful Vista and home.

We were gone from the house much of the time but when we were there everything we needed was handy and comfortable. Bed was comfortable ad all was clean. Would have been a perfect place to share with our brother and wife but the flight was canceled. Plenty of private and public space for a couples retreat.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

There are not enough glowing things I can say about this property and the property manager! What am truly amazing weekend getaway house. The amenities were so far above and beyond our expectations that once we got to the property, we didn't want to leave! The patios are perfect for sunsets, dinners and visiting with friends. The hot tub was our favorite ending of the day. The property manager was so helpful and communicative through out the week leading up to our stay. We will definitely be back to stay again. A totally wonderful experience and home!

Loved it.

Everything 5 star - clean, comfortable, very well equipped, excellent location in the hills, superb view and setting, peaceful and quiet yet convenient to Wimberly and Dripping Springs. Can spend all day in pj’s and be perfectly content to stay in. Thank you!

Hill Country Heaven

We loved our stay at Ladera. It had been on our VRBO radar for awhile and did not disappoint. Layout of the house worked well for 3 couples. Huge, beautiful well appointed kitchen. Big patio in the back sporting a vista view; deer and turkey sightings. Comfy beds and furnishings. Attentive communication with the house host on a few issues we had. Excellent location near Wimberley and Blanco plus many scenic drives in the area. A true happy getaway from a busy city life.

Great House, Great Location, Great Host!

We had a great experience with Krishna and the house. Krishna was very responsive and clear about house rules and instructions. The house itself was great. Open floorplan, plenty of space, and very secluded and peaceful. It was clean as could be, nicely furnished and well-equipped with a great kitchen/living area suited for cooking, entertaining, and relaxing. The beds were super comfortable and the patio area was a great location to sit and enjoy morning coffee. Though the house is a little further out of town, that does offer welcomed serenity, and it is not too far away to pop into town at will. Really happy with our experience and we’d certainly stay here again!

We loved this new beautiful Hill Country home!

The Ladera house was the perfect home and setting for a special Father's Day celebration for my husband. This spacious home was tastefully furnished and decorated and had a fully equipped kitchen with two ovens! We enjoyed cooking and then dining together at the large dining table. All you need to bring is food and personal items for yourself. We loved drinking coffee on the porch and enjoyed the hill country view. We explored the grounds and relaxed in the hot tub in the evening. Shiloh thought of everything. We hope to visit again!

We want our guests to arrive at Ladera confident that it's 100% ready, and we’re sorry this wasn’t your experience. - Our property uses a rainwater-based system, as noted in the listing, so guests are informed in advance.- During your stay, we discovered a strong smell in the water caused by an incorrectly installed carbon filter. - The filter has been replaced, and while the water was safe thanks to our UV system, we acknowledge it wasn’t ideal for drinking at the time and informed you accordingly.- After learning of the issue on the second night, we were glad to promptly relocate you to another property to ensure your comfort.We do everything possible to ensure a great stay and look forward to hosting many more happy guests.

House was lovely and the views sublime but the hot tub was green

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house and it's truly top notch. The views are really great and we made use of the wonderful fire pit. The stars outside were bright just like the song about Texas says. The one negative was the hot tub. We were excited to use it on a cool weekend. Thankfully I had my flashlight with me when we were about to get in at night. It was positively green. We tried to contact the owner but we never heard back! Would have been easy to correct with some hot tub shock!

Great house and location but needs a new cleaning crew!

Great house with ideal location to visit nearby Texas State Parks. House is roomy and furniture is comfortable with modern appliances. Downside was the cleanliness of the house, washer and dryer were full and running with bed linens and towels as we walked in. The floors were very dirty and we also found hair in the casita shower drain. Unfortunately no cleaning supplies were available other than a broom and some swiffer pads (no swiffer stick to be found). From reading the previous review, it sounds like they need to find a better cleaning crew for the property!

We're very glad that you enjoyed your stay despite finding some poor cleanliness co conditions. We have spoken with our property managery and we both understand that cleanliness is a top issue in our business. Some staffing adjustments have been made. We make it a practice to try to talk with each guest soon after their stay here and over the last two years, most of our guests have commented on Ladera's spotless condition. The many published reviews reflect this as well. So we were more than a little disappointed with your comments. While the cleaning crew has done an outstanding job over the last two years, they understand that a single negative report about cleanliness is unacceptable. They have assured us they will re-double their efforts to make Ladera spotless for each guest and will leave additional cleaning supplies for guests to use during their stays. Thank you for your thoughtful comments they will help us keep Ladera among the best vacation rentals in Hill Country.

Family Vacation... check! ✔️

My family and I were not expecting to be taken away with Shilohs place... as soon as we drove up, we knew this would be a family vacation we would never forget. We utilized the kitchen and common area through out our stay and it nicely accommodated everyone in enjoying amazing home cooked meals with the ease of the fully stocked kitchen. The game room proved to be a sight to see at night! With the wall to wall windows you feel like you’re in a tree house at night looking at all the stars. The attached guest house was perfectly situated and also with an amazing view to wake up to. Although we never thought of using a hot tub during the summertime, it cooled down enough to where the hot tub became an essential chill spot! As well as the fire pit which is walking distance from the house. Our family explored the property and the tiny tree house was also a family favorite, which included a fun little zip line, that was a very nice surprise! Thank you Shiloh for providing the ultimate stay, we couldn’t have asked for more.

Relaxing Getaway

This property was exactly what we need to get a way from the stress of the crazy city life in the Houston area. Everything we viewed online concerning this property is as pictured. Not bait and switch. This house and location are the real deal as stated. The house is amazing !!! It has excellent views by day and by night with well lit walkways to the firepit and parking. What I thought was 5 minutes in the hammock one night just stargazing, turned out to be a little over an hour...just plain beautiful. My family and friends occupied the main house while I had the casita all to myself. For me, the casita gave feeling of having a vacation within a vacation...PERFECT ! Quiet and peaceful just are not the right words to use for this house and location. This house is not just a house....it is tranquil and serene home. If given the opportunity to visit this location for a few days or a few weeks in the near future I will. I now consider this my new home away from home. I've never meet the owners of this property. However, I would like to thank the homeowners for sharing a part of the energy, calm, happiness and peace of their gorgeous modern southwestern home with us. Once again, THANK YOU for allow us this brief escape. The administrative and cleaning staff were very kind and considerate. Just a heads up...please provide a mop for the property. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Ladies’ birthday weekend

Every year, my four girlfriends and I choose a small town to celebrate our friend Kristin’s birthday the first week of December - we refer to it as Kristember! Lasers was perfect for the five of us - huge kitchen for the cooks, amazing fire pit area, beautifully decorated … all was so perfect. We were able to attend Wimberley’s Market Day 10 miles away. We will definitely be coming back

Exceptional in every way!

This property is stunning, and the home is truly gorgeous. It's beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and has first-class touches everywhere you look. (The Texas-sized island in the kitchen is a show-stopper!) The Hill Country view from the porch is incredible (got some amazing sunset pictures!), and there was a nice breeze there most of the day. We made S'mores in the fire pit one night and enjoyed walking on some of the trails. Our contact person was gracious and very responsive. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Ladera. Highly recommend!
