Over all a great stay. Condo was clean and well kept. Pool was nice and relaxing with the beach just a short walk across the property. Sunsets where absolutely amazing and could be seen well from the entire property. Would book this again if we come back to the area.

Just what we needed!

Loved the location as we could easily explore the area and get the most out of our time on Maui! The condo has a really nice view of the water and the complex is very quiet.

Nice vacation

Beautiful location at the Maui Sunset. The unit desperately needs new bed linens and towels and new carpet. We always enjoy our stay at the Sunset.

Nice place

The condo was nice, near the ocean and very beautiful landscape and pool . We really enjoyed staying there it felt like we were in the 70’s all the future and appliances were from that time, everything worked well😁. Thank you for the owners.

Everything was great! The room was clean the room had a nice starter pack for guest. No bugs safe and very convenient! Stay here in 313 for a great experience.

Excellent location

Had phenomenal stay at Maui Sunset. The location is next to the beach and on the main strip in Kihei.. All the vacationers were very nice and I enjoyed conversing with them.. The only thing I would change is allowing a later check-out time. Our flight was early evening.

Great sunsets

The furniture is dated if that matters. I was interested in having a full kitchen & washer/dryer, which it did.

It appeared the only ones on the beach were staying at this location. It was so romantic for the sunset. My wife loved this place. We could hear the ocean waves and the beach itself was well maintained. The condos were close to grocery stores, drugstores and restaurants and within short distances to beaches, attractions etc. WE would highly recommend this condo facility.

Some friends stayed in a different unit that was updated and very nice. So I guess it's a mixed bag. I would stay at Maui Sunset again, but I would ask to see photos of the individual unit.

Everything is in the condo, decor is a bit outdated but who goes to Maui to stare at the wall art ! The one draw back, if you intend on using the living room sofa bed, the main room AC unit is on a maximum 4 hour timer because of the high cost of electricity. This makes it tougher to keep the room cool all night to sleep in. Site staff were very helpful. Clean pool and site. Small basic gym.

Maui Sunset

We have stayed in this complex before. It is ideally located and right on the ocean. The unit was clean and has a nice view. It is dated but quite comfortable. I missed having a descent wineglass and hope some would be added for future guests. Those old plastic ones need to be discarded. It seems strange to me the need for keys in 2024. An entry code would make late arrivals smoother. Although we were met quite promptly by security and given our keys it would have been much better to have a code. The doors lock automatically so if you forget your key you have a problem. The garden and pool areas were well groomed. It’s a lovely spot!

Maui Sunset is one of the better buildings/complexes in the north Kieha area. Beautiful grounds and nice pool. Unit is in a good location of the building, far enough from the street. Suite itself has older decor but is clean and everything works. At the right price this is a very good place to rent, one we would consider renting again.
