Casa Mirage er en dejlig og indbydende villa med mange etager ved havet, der er fabelagtig beliggende på den uberørte hvide sandstrand i Playa Grande. Unikt beliggende uden sti at gå, vej til kryds eller grøn mur der blokerer havudsigten. Dette feriehus i middelhavsstil er smukt bygget af rige lokale hårdttræ, møbler er moderne, farverige, komfortable og mange tilpassede. Værelser på øverste niveau har uberørt udsigt til stranden, og værelser på lavere niveau åbner ud til en pulserende havehaven. Terrazzo-flisegulve flyder overalt i det indre og spilder ud over de rummelige verandaer med omhyggelig strandudsigt.

Family Vacation

The house is exactly as it appears in the photos. The staff is wonderful - especially Kimberly. Property manager and Kimberly were very responsive to any questions we had during our weeklong stay. The house is located on a very quiet part of the Playa Grande beach, which we loved! It was close to enough to enjoy Tamarindo when we wanted to go shopping or some nightlife. It was truly a wonderful vacation - definitely recommend!

Paradise

My family had the most wonderful stay at Casa Mirage! The property was large and secured with several security guards. We had Kimberly shop for groceries and cook 6 meals for us and it was one the best parts of our trip.. enjoying quality meals together. We had surf lessons at the house and massages. You can’t find a more relaxing place to unwind and enjoy nature. Bring cash for additional expenses you add to your stay at the house. Pura Vida!

Playa Grande Paradise

This is the second time I have stayed at this home and it does not disappoint. It has it all. We had Kimberly prepare all of our meals and the food was amazing. Hopefully we will make it back to this house again some day. It works great for a big group or family with kids. Thanks for an amazing vacation.

Great multifamily spring break

We had a great stay with two families for spring break. Property was good size for our group, well maintained, in an amazing location with backyard abutting the beach. Service throughout the week and excellent communication from the team. Loved it!

Exceeded all expectations!

We had 5 couples stay for 1 week. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. The house and grounds were in amazing condition. Any minor issues we had were taken care of immediately. Ania & Pica are amazing care givers keeping the house & grounds immaculate.impeccable.

MOST AMAZING HOME and LOCATION and STAFF

Our family just left yesterday from one of the best family vacations we have ever been on. And by far the best vrbo for families we have ever rented. The location was amazing. So private and secluded. The walks on the beach in the mornings and at sunset were incredible. The ease of having a baby at this home who could nap while the baby monitor reached outside and the big kids could be in the ocean boogie boarding was perfect. And there were a couple restaurants within walking distance! And the staff, oh my gosh they were incredible! Ania the housekeeper was so sweet and kept everything in perfect condition. My kids loved her too and she even gave them a small stuffed animal to say remember Costa Rica:)! And Elibet was so quick to send someone to fix a little problem with the mini split in our room. And Felix the night guard kept us feeling so safe as he watched the property. And then Kimberly came and cooked a couple meals for us which were outstanding!!! We can’t wait to return!!!

Absolutely perfect

This house is amazing! Plenty of space for our group of 14! The beach is beautiful. Leanna, the house manager was so helpful - always in communication and was there any time we needed anything. Chef Kimberly cooked a wonderful dinner for us and had the kitchen stocked for our arrival. We loved everything about our experience at the Casa Mirage!!

A piece of paradise

The property was perfect! Designed well to be shared by multiple couples or family members. The kitchen is equipped with anything you made need to make coffee, meals, drinks, etc. The ac in the rooms work well and the beds were comfortable. The property was well maintained and we felt safe the whole trip. We would absolutely stay again!

Magical Vacation in Costa Rica

Everything about this house is perfect. Wonderful space for multiple generations to gather plus quiet bedrooms when sleep is needed. The ladies who take care of the house and cook are the best! We had three generations of family and everyone enjoyed this beautiful location and all of the amenities.

Literal paradise

Casa Mirage is literal paradise in Costa Rica. We stayed here with three families in total. The beach is pristine, waves are perfect every time of the day and it's so secluded and private. The bedrooms were nice and the en suite bathrooms made it so easy for a large group. We had Kimberly good every dinner and a few breakfasts while we were there and they were delicious. Highly recommend if you have kids or don't want to bother going out. The playa grande area is very very small. The super market is very tiny -- if you can stop near the airport at the bigger ones you'll find a larger variety for cheaper. If you're looking for nightlife this isn't for you. But if you want quiet like it seems you can't find anywhere in the world right now this is for you! Ania was so sweet cleaning up after us and gave us fresh beach towels in the morning. She even brought out a large bag of sand toys for the littles. We've been at beaches all over the world and it is so rare to find one where some can surf, the teens and other adults can boogie board and the little kids can safely jump in the waves. This was playa grande.

Splendor in Costa Rica

We celebrated 3 graduates on our stay at Casa Mirage. Some were new to Costa Rica so it was fun to introduce them to such a wonderful slice of the world in a house so accommodating. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen spacious and efficient and best of all just steps away from the beach. We rented surf and boogie boards for the week. Some of our group took excursions snorkeling, canoeing and visiting a wildlife preserve. Several trips into Tamarindo rounded out the stay. It was lovely and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Casa Mirage - Perfect for our Crew

Thank you for having us at Casa Mirage. The location of the house, being right on the beach was amazing. The staff are lovely and there to assist with whatever you need. We had some meals cooked there and they were delicious. The property is well maintained and comfortable for our group. We loved being there. Playa Grande is such a quiet and magical place to be. Pura Vida.

Heavenly Spot

We can’t say enough great things about our stay here, it was incredible! Beautiful beach right at the front yard, plung pool to cool down, spacious house for all the family, and loved all the staff that worked at the property as well as Leanne for fantastic communication. Good restaurants and night market down the road but overall a very chill area. Would highly recommend this place.

Paradise

Beautiful location, Property, and people. My family had the best time. The house is amazing. The location right on the beach was perfect. The people who cleaned, cooked, and watched over the house our amazing people. I actually forgot my family’s passports in the bedroom safe when I drove to the airport to fly home. In a panic I called Leeana to ask for help. She arranged for Kimberly, the cook, to retrieve the passports and drive them to the airport. We made it on the plain just before the doors closed. Leeana and Kimberly didn’t have to do this for my family after we had checked out of the house. But the did with a smile because they are wonderful people!! Hope life gives my the opportunity to return to this beautiful place again.

The villa was a fantastic place to stay. Right off the beach with wonderful and friendly staff. Jeffrey, Anna, and Kimberly and her family were all excellent. Can’t wait to go back again.

Great Family House on the Beach!

We had a great family trip. Ten adults and two babies. The house, property, and the beach was everything we hoped for! The staff was responsive too! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We loved Casa Mirage and Costa Rica!

Awesome experience

From the minute we got to this lovely property, everything exceeded our expectations, communication with staff was great, we had heard a lot about Kimberly cooking for People so we had her cook some dinners and a breakfast. Muy Bueno! The location was perfect for our family and we all enjoyed the beach and ocean. Housekeeping came several times and that was so wonderful. There were so many extras like security that was unexpected. Overall we can’t think of a better place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary!. Thank you

We are a family of 'water babies' raised on the beach shores of Santa Barbara, CA. (Of course the grand kids also have this ocean gene). Once my children (Julie, J.C, and Mark) became of an age when we could all travel my husband and I would take them during summer vacation on a surf safari to an exotic destination somewhere in the world. This was not only for fun, but to spend quality time with each other and expose them to different cultures and customs.

On a surfing safari to Costa Rica in '91 we instantly fell in love with the country, the kind and hospitable people, and the natural habitat. It was a paradise!! Long story short after returning to the States and raving to family and friends about this oasis a friend said he had the perfect property for our family in Playa Grande.

My husband, Jim, flew down a month later and purchased the property for me as my 50th B-Day present! Over the past 25 years both my family and friends lives have been significantly enhanced by the culture, the natural wonders that surrounds us and the 'Pura Vida' lifestyle. This means Pure Life, an expression of contentment, happiness, and satisfaction with ones life. It's this philosophy that ranks Costa Rica as one of the happiest places in the world!!

Traveling to the end of the road we found Playa Grande, a magical beach where for thousands of years the prehistoric leatherback turtles have come to nest and the ancient Chortega Indians performed ceremonies.

We decided to build a vacation home for our family as it is uniquely located oceanfront, with no path to walk, road to cross, or green wall blocking the view. We enjoy rolling out of bed and surfing out the backyard, scanning the trees for howler monkeys, sea shelling and exploring tide pools and gazing at the brilliant stars.

It's barefoot luxury, where your will find peacefulness, beauty, and the' Pura Vida' way of life.
