Hi Doug. Thank you for the very positive review of our property. We really appreciate when our guests take the time to do the review, because it not only is helpful to us, but it's great for those considering renting in the future. You hit on some of my favorite things about the house: the location, the wild horses, and the theater room. I agree, the location is ideal! Fantastic views of the ocean from the 2nd and 3rd floors, and just a very short walk, 170 feet and over the dune, to the beach itself. The wild horses seem to be out and about, and often in our yard, a lot so far this season. So glad you got to see them. I know I never tire of them. Each time is as exciting as the first! And the theater room...nothing like ending a long fun day at the beach and pool by relaxing in those comfy reclining theater seats and enjoying a movie with the family. So glad you and your family had a wonderful week at Utopia. Hope you'll come back to OBX and will vacation at our house again. Andrea

The house being so close to the beach, just about 175 feet, is a huge plus, not only for the amazing views, but also for the convenience of going back and forth between the beach and the house. It's nice to know that you found the beds to be comfortable too. It certainly makes the vacation that much more enjoyable when you are getting a good restful sleep every night. We will be sure to let our cleaners and maintenance crew know how impressed you were with the cleanliness of the house. They do a wonderful job! Thank you again for your review. We just love when our guests let us know what a great time they had at our house and what things in particular stood out! The spaciousness of the house and decks, the pool area, and the visits from those beautiful horses are also some of my favorites, in addition to the spectacular views of the ocean. We're so glad you all had such a wonderful time at our house and at the 4WD area in general, and we appreciate your taking the time to write a review. You pretty much hit on most of the top highlights of our property....close proximity to the beach, the adventure of driving on the sand, the wild horses on the dunes, beach, in the neighborhood, and even in our yard, the theater room, all of the games, books, movies, puzzles for all to enjoy, the pool, and enough space to spread out when you need some 'alone' time. We provide lots of information about the house and area and welcome any questions to which we do our best to respond as soon as possible. We strive to make sure our guests are comfortable and having an enjoyable time. You were wonderful guests, and we'd love to have you back!

Thank you so much for writing a review that captures so much of what our house has to offer, Teresa. It's so nice to hear that you all had such a wonderful time. All those things you mentioned are what make the house a wonderful vacation choice. At just over 4100 square feet, the house is large enough that even with a large group (up to 19 people maximum), there is plenty of room to spread out. And there is so much to do: go to the beach, relax at the pool or hot tub, enjoy movies in the theater room, play board games, read, play billiards, sit on the deck and enjoy the views of the ocean, sand, horses, and other wildlife! We try to provide enough amenities to make our guests as comfortable as possible. And yes, that kitchen is well stocked with enough dishes and glasses and practically every gadget one could possibly need. We loved having you as guests and would welcome you back in a heartbeat!
