Dear Thomas: Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review! We know that when guests are on vacation, they want a comfortable place to begin and end their day: so, we work hard to make the cottage a comfortable and well equipped retreat. I, like you, enjoy the ritual of a morning cup of coffee relaxing on the deck overlooking the harbor. I also like the fact that there is a small beach nearby suitable for launching kayaks and that there are restaurants and bars within walking distance. My family has been visiting Tenants harbor since before I was born and we are still drawn to it each year so I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay ! Linda, Owner

Dear Elizabeth P.: We are delighted that you enjoyed the Harbor Cottage as much as we do. My Grandson also enjoys sleeping in the trundle bed as well as gazing at the ship that thankfully is out of his reach. The Harbor Cottage is newly furnished with comfortable mattresses to afford our guests a good night sleep. It is a 5 minute scenic walk to the village. I was surprised and dismayed to be informed through your review that there was a wet smell in the cottage you rented. No attempt was made to report a problem to me during your 2 week stay. The cottage had been rented for the previous summer weeks without incident or complaint. The review was the first time I realized there was a issue that needed to be addressed. Our goal is and has always been to provide a comfortable and clean place for our guests to relax after exploring mid coast Maine. We do ask our guests to report any problem right away so that we may have the opportunity to have the situation remedied. Since you have informed me through your review, I am having the issue investigated. Thank you for informing me, I am just dismayed that I was not made aware sooner so that your stay would have been more enjoyable. Regards, Linda
