Perfect Get-away Condo

This trip was for a girls trip get away and the condo was beautiful and in a perfect location to the beach, shopping and dining!!

Beautiful condo

We absolutely loved staying there. Only issue was the beach access, I had a very hard time due to arthritis going up and down sand dune to and from beach.

A great stay

The unit was very nice, well-furnished and bigger than we'd expected. The staff was helpful and responsive. Very nice being so close to the beach.

Fantastic location and property

The unit was exactly as described in the listing, and was very clean upon arrival. Everything was just perfect and would highly recommend to others.

Excellent location!

The kitchen has everything you need including a refrigerator with a filtration system and an ice maker. Location on the first floor makes it easy to carry things in and out. Near many good restaurants and very close to a Food Lion. On the beach and having a pool just makes the property all the better! We had a great week!

Nice and beachy, but needs a new mattress

We enjoyed the beachy feel and having plenty of space. But the king mattress is horrible. The mattress has a big dip in the middle and unfortunately the sofas are in need of replacing.

Great and spacious beach front Nags Head condo

This was a very nice and large condo right on the beach. It has 2 large master bedrooms plus a third bedroom with it’s own bath. It was an easy walk past the Oceanside pool to the beach! Perfect for a family that has to lug lots of stuff to the beach. Only downside is that you can’t see the ocean over the dunes, but you can hear it!

Sunburst Rental

Excellent place to rent. One negative comment. It is difficult to climb the sand dune when leaving the beach to go back to the rental unit. If you are having an elderly person in your party, they may not be able to make it at the beach. This is probably more of a rental for younger folk or those that are in good physical shape.

Not as advertised

The condo was beautiful, clean, accessible for our Mom to get in and out. However, it DID NOT HAVE an ocean view which is what I specifically asked for when I booked it. Our Mom is 84 so getting to the ocean was a bit of a challenge with the steps over the dune so we wanted her to be able to see the ocean from the unit. All we could see was the back of the dune. The only units that have a ocean view were on the 3rd floor. Also we had a leak in a window from rain and they never sent anyone to fix after we called. Only 2 of the 3 bathrooms had a roll of toilet paper, no extra garbage bags, and no paper towels were provided. We had to go out and purchase these items. For the price that was paid it was not a great value.

Hi Deborah, Sunburst is a wonderful condo and popular with guests. I'm sorry you somehow believed the property had an ocean view. The photos of the property show very clearly what can be seen from inside the property. None of the photos make it appear as though the beach or ocean is visible. I'm sorry you got that impression, but it wasn't from us. Perhaps you were examining multiple properties at the same time and confused this one with another. I'm assuming and have no idea how you came to that conclusion, but it's clear from our photos the only view you get is of the dune. I'm sorry this was difficult for your mom, but that too was in the photos and if asked we could have advised you. Perhaps you called VRBO instead of us and they provided bad answers (we've seen this happen a few times). The items you felt we should have provided extra of were stated clearly in the description. It's not fair to agree to what you're getting and then complain that you got exactly what was agreed upon.

Awesome condo at Nags Head!

The condo was SO clean when we arrived and it really did have everything that we need for a great vacation! The bedrooms were great and the bathrooms were so big. We loved being on the beach and had great weather all week but one day. I hadn't been to OBX since I was a young child and it was so great to be back. We will definitely be returning to for sure!

Place was very nice and very clean minus the dirty sheets

I was disappointed to see filthy sheets with blood stains On master bed and hair on three of the four beds. Turns out the linens were never changed in between rentals. I called immediately and someone was there within 30 minutes and changed all the sheets. I’m just happy I looked in bed before I got in it to sleep. The rest of the condo was extremely clean and had everything I needed in kitchen etc. I would stay here again but always check your sheets people!
