Fantastic stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were very clean, updated, very well stocked and extremely comfortable. Great location, quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay again!

Stay at Sea Colony

Very nice, the home that had all the amenities needed. The Sea Colony association had a beautiful beach and fun things to entertain us. Would stay here again.

Great stay! The only thing is that the dryer broke our last day so we couldn’t clean up as we would have liked since we couldn’t dry anything.

Great, Comfortable Retreat

We stayed in this lovely condo for a week in August. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. It was a great location for jumping on the tram. We enjoyed the fitness center and the pools. Our beach days were wonderful! Hoping to come back again soon!

Beach Week

The house was perfect! Homey, comfortable, well appointed. Everything worked. Beds were comfy. The layout was spacious. The screened porch really fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

A nice place, but not worth the hassle.

Our family booked this condo for an easy beach trip from DC. It turned out to be a big hassle and not worth it in the end. The information that the owner gave us about paying an amenity fee was not what the property actually charged. We ended up having to pay $40 per adult just to park one car-be warned...the parking is not included despite what the agreement with the owner says. When we arrived, the dryer was full of clean laundry and the dishwasher was full of clean dishes. The owner expects you to bring you own sheets and towels or use theirs and wash them before you leave, but there wasn't any laundry detergent. Also, having to make the beds when you get is a pain. There was barely any toilet paper in one of the two bathrooms-we ran out before our trip ended and had to get more. For a two night stay, we ended up doing a lot of housework! You also have to wait to have physical keys mailed to you (which didn't arrive until the morning our trip started because the owner forgot to mail them-talk about getting nervous!) and then mail them back after your trip. I tried to contact VRBO about all these issues, but they never responded. The condo is nice, but the circumstances are not worth it.

It couldn’t have been more relaxing!

This was our third time renting a place through VBRO in Bethany, and our first time saying in Sea Colony. Our family loved it! The house itself is incredibly comfortable and well taken care of. It was also extremely well stocked and had some great little touches (like white noise machines - which we never needed but were none-the-less appreciated). Sea Colony itself is very family friendly and being able to take the tram to the beach was a perk even though we walked most of the time. My husband and son loved the new gym and I loved being able to walk right to the downtown area to get my coffee in the mornings. The owner was very easy to deal with - though I barely had to contact her because everything was in perfect order. Just got home and already want to head back!

Loved Sea Colony

Excellent rental. Lovely, comfortable, nicely decorated home. Owner easy to correspond with. Loved the screened in porch. Beds comfortable with thick foam mattresses. Easy walk or tram ride to many pools and other amenities. Would definitely go back again!

Awesome getaway

This place was EXTREMELY clean and organized, and had a lot of necessities that made our stay easy (utensils, baggies, coffee filters, etc). We felt secluded yet easily connected. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. The huge porch was a winner! Overall we'd stay here again. Only a few downsides at all. First and foremost were the ridiculously limited hours at Sea Colony registration. At a resort, where people are driving long hours to get there, it's unreasonable to expect folks to arrive between 9 and 5:30. Entering the unit was no problem on off hours, but there should be a way to obtain badges in order to begin enjoying the amenities (tram, pools, beach, fitness center) in the evening and morning. Additionally drying linens took several hours the morning we departed. Impossible to get an early start with the need to clean and put away sheets.

Lovely beach house

We had a wonderful time staying in this relaxing, quiet beach house. The condo is comfortable and really nicely furnished. Everything has a beachy vibe and it is a lovely place to relax. Beds are comfortable and fully equipped kitchen. It was just right for a family of 5. We enjoyed all the amenities Sea Colony offers as well. Lots of pools to choose from and nice to be able to catch a tram ride to the beach and avoid parking headaches. Holly, the owner, is great to work with. Very responsive to our questions and concerns. I hope to be able to stay here again next year. Highly recommend this gem.

Very comfortable accommodations

We loved the spaciousness of the property. It was very comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. The only two things that we noticed that were negatives were the fact that the sliding door by the dining room was unlocked. Also the dishes in the dishwasher were dirty and a lot of ants had gathered in the dishwasher. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property.

Wonderful

We had such a great time at your condo! I have been going to BB since I was 12 years old and now have been able to take my own kids! I love sea colony and the ease of staying there! One downfall to the trip was the ant issue throughout the condo! My one Daugther actually had ant bites when she woke up the next day! I did take some of the ant spray from the laundry room and sprayed it down but they are relentless there! Other then that we had a lovely time

Beautiful beach getaway

The overall experience was excellent!! The house was clean and well decorated. Access was very easy. It was everything we wanted in a beach vacation, expected and more!

A Great Vacation Get Away!

My husband and I recently returned from a long weekend at Sea Colony. The condo that we stayed at was 51002 Southwinds Court. What a lovely, well decorated condo. A beach theme prevails throughout all of the rooms in the unit. The unit was pristine, extremely clean, and very cozy. One of the features my husband and I especially appreciated was the cleanliness of the condo. The condo was immaculate. It was truly a beautifully decorated and welcoming place. It was obvious how much pride the owners take in their home away from home. TVs were in each of the bedrooms as well as the living room. Access to the unit was extremely easy. Parking was available right outside the unit. A keyless entry was in place to enable quick entry and exit. We found that there are many amenities at Sea Colony even in the off season including restaurants, indoor pools, hot tubs, and gym facilities. Walking and bicycling paths were right outside our door. We especially enjoyed going north on Route 1 to the Rehoboth Outlets. One evening we went south to Ocean City to enjoy a great seafood dinner. We can only imagine the amenities available during the late Spring and Summer months. We will be back and back often to this wonderful condo unit. Not only will we be back but we will strongly recommend to our family and friends that they stay at 51002 Southwinds Court to enjoy a family focused and relaxing vacation. They will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Wonderful Experience In Many Ways

My husband and I have always stayed in hotels and I have actually never rented a beach house. I was a little nervous about renting someone's private place and hoping all the wonderful reviews I read about the Ree's home would be true.... and it was! I can honestly say I am a clean freak -and this home was immaculate. Homes hold good or bad energy and I also felt such good energy when we first entered the house. It was perfect for our needs - my daughter and her two young children came with my husband and I for a few days at the beach. The house has a lot of privacy in that there is a woodsy area around one side and it makes you feel you're more in touch with nature just looking at the trees through the large sliding glass doors. The house sits extremely close to one of the tram stops which was so convenient to get to the beach and back. It also was a very quiet area - which was good to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the beach side. The king size bed was very comfortable and supportive for my bad back. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Washer/Dryer made it easy to keep our clothes and towels clean. I especially loved the big sectional sofa in the living room which was long enough for all of us to sit together and great to snuggle with my grandchildren. The porch adds plenty of drying space for beach towels, etc. The bathrooms were so clean, the water pressure was good and we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you'd ever need and the refrigerator was very roomy. We had such a lovely time on this vacation and one big reason was that we stayed at the Ree's home.
