Several things were not working when we arrived…upstairs bathroom outlets, unable to open door garage door from inside switch and the other garage door was not able to be locked for possible entry, and the place was not quite as clean as we would like to see. However, the communication between the owner and us was very responsive and outlets were fixed within a day.

Great location, nice home in quiet neighborhood

The home was clean, convenient and had everything we needed for a week stay. The rental is close to shopping, parks, restaurants and the local public schools

Home away from home

Clean, comfy and well supplied. Everything is there, from TP and pots and pans to cheese graters and bath towels!

We had a good time during the 2 week stay at this house. It is a very welcoming house and it really had the feel of your own home. We did not encounter any issues during the stay and found most of the required items were available. The host was pretty responsive when I reached out to them. The backyard is really very serene and sitting on the back porch have morning coffee or an evening tea is just a great relaxing feel.

Great location and property

Great area to stay. Quiet neighborhood that's close to restaurants, shopping, and natural areas. Only issue was getting the check-in details prior to arrival but host quickly responded when I reached out. House has plenty of space for a family or small group. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Tre-Covered beauty

Everything is there. Quiet neighborhood, nice tv’s, stocked kitchen equip., fully fenced back yard and close to restaurants. Well kept and inviting!

Cedar Park Getaway

We’re return renters to this house. We used to live in Cedar Park so this is a great spot for us to come and visit the old stomping grounds. The pictures are a great representation of the property.

Overall, we had a decent stay. The house was comfortable, the bedrooms were great, and the location was in a nice area that was very convenient for where we needed to be during our two-week stay.The biggest disappointment was the backyard. It was actually the main reason we chose this property so our son would have a safe place to play, but instead of grass it was mostly weeds, and there were quite a few wasps. Because of that, we weren’t able to use the backyard at all, which was frustrating.Inside, the home was comfortable but could use some updating and a little more attention to maintenance. The window treatments/blinds are showing their age, and there was noticeable grime on the wall in the master bathroom. We also initially couldn’t find any towels and eventually discovered them in the dryer. Unfortunately, the dryer itself didn’t seem to work properly—after three drying cycles, our clothes were still completely wet.Overall, it’s a comfortable house in a good location, but the outdoor space did not match the listing’s appeal, and a few maintenance issues kept this from being a higher-rated stay.

Stay was Okay

The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Beds were comfy and linens were clean. Our stay would have been more comfortable if the house had a coffee maker, better stocked kitchen (so that we could cook a few meals), and hangers (only one in the entire house). There was mold in the master bathroom. The house was pretty clean, but many of the walls were filthy making it feel dirty. Spills, spots, and smudges on walls in every room of the house. I will stay at another location my next visit to Austin.

Austin getaway in fall

If you enjoy fall color changes of foliage this would be a great time to visit Austin. This house was very spacious to accommodate our family of 5 adults. The beds were large and comfortable. The 2 and half bathrooms were more than adequate. The backyard was fence enclosed with tree shade, bbq grill, and hammock to relax. Kitchen was adequately equipped for one’s cooking needs. TV / living room is huge and spacious. All major highways and stores are within 10 minutes. Neighborhood is quiet and enjoyable for walking and biking. The people are very friendly here. The host is very responsive to any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this house for your vacation rental!

Nice size house and yard

The size and layout of the house is nice. They need to do a better cleaning after someone is there. We found gum balls under furniture food pieces in the silverware drawer and the dishes. It is a dog friendly house which we needed for this trip. The back yard was brown and not grass and full of dried up dog poop. We always clean up our dogs poop and the yard wasn’t usable for us.We did have some issues with broken and missing things throughout the house. Management did send a handyman out to fix all he could but that took part of our day of our vacation.

Owner is nuts, avoid

Randomly after the first night the owner walked into the house in the morning to drop some stuff off. This entirely started my guests and really made everyone very uncomfortable for the rest of the stay. Totally unacceptable. After reporting TV's not working, light fixtures not working, a lot of burnt out light bulbs, no glasses, no mugs, no light out back- he came back (alerted us this time) and spent 30 minutes tearing the house apart looking for TV remotes and dropping more stuff off. The house was not just ready to be rented and the owner walking in really ruined the stay, in addition to putting himself in what could have been a very bad situation. He explained to me he does that all the time and it's never an issue, etc... I explained to him he's going to get shot one of these days.. Just an overall bad experience due to the owner. Check in was messy, the door code in the email was not right. House was OK clean at best.

Met our needs

We stayed at this property after selling our home in Leander and preparing to move out of state to Georgia. It met our needs and was comfortable. It does need a little TLC, as we had issues with the washing machine and the yard, which was important as we had a dog, had no grass left. With a little maintenance and updates this property could be very nice

Just Okay

The property is dated on the inside (1990's), however, very clean. The pictures on the listing of the backyard are severely misleading as there was no grass for our dogs, but rather dirt. There is no sprinkler system in the back so there is no opportunity for grass to grow. We had to limit our dogs (shih tzu's) from going out to the back because they would come in a dirty mess. The pond is also a mosquito breeding compound comprised of fungi and dirty water. The house is located on an extremely busy street used as a thoroughfare. This made it difficult backing out of the driveway. One of the garage doors is completely broken and inoperable which also prevented us from parking both cars in the garage. Intially, there was an ant problem, but the owner stated it was due to the house being recently sprayed on the outside. A response from the owner regarding our concerns and the misleading listing were not addressed until nearly a week later. There was no effort in resolving our concerns, rather, a note was made. For the price, there are better options out there.

We enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed downtown and Lake Travis while we were in Austin! This house was 20-30 minutes away from anywhere we chose to go! Very clean and very comfy beds!

It was just OK

While the home on the surface was nice, it has some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Of the 2.5 bathrooms, only 1.5 was available to use. The 2nd bath upstairs between the rooms was unusable as water leaked from under the toiled when flushed and the bathtub leaked through into the ceiling of the kitchen below. Also the lights on the front porch didn't work, hardly any cookware (we had to purchase our own skillet to cook with) and the list goes on. Everything was just so bare minimum and didn't have that home away from home like other places we have stayed. The linens on the beds didn't appear to be washed as when we got ready for bed the first night, we found hair and dirt under the top blanket in 2 of the rooms. The previous guest was also nice enough to leave a list of items they found wrong with the property that after our stay, we agreed with. All in all, I would be very hard pressed to recommend or stay at this property again in the future.
