Very unfortunate review after everything that was done to try to salvage their stay. Granted there was upkeep needed, in particular a refrigerator. Knowing this we purchased a brand new one which was delivered the day prior to the arrival. The problem was that it was delivered defective from Home Depot. Once we heard from John it wasn't working we tried no less than a dozen calls to locate a repair tech but given it was the holiday weekend in a mountain town that was not possible. Then we looked into getting a new fridge just to replace the defective one but the local store couldn't deliver until after their departure. Road block. We thought the fridge was the extent of it until another issue came up, the master bath drain. When it rains it pours! The previous renter let us know about it earlier in the week so we had called a plumber out who allegedly fixed the problem, apparently not. The plumber that came in after John's departure said it was an issue with the shower through to the tub that had limited drainage and would back up if the tub was drained on the high setting which was fixed, but unfortunately too late. We felt terrible that both things came up on their trip so we did anything we could to salvage it. Our neighbor had a smaller fridge that we had delivered to them so they could at least keep some food cold. We couldn't do anything about the drain so we agreed to give John a five hundred dollar refund for the inconvenience which he said was more than fair. We take a lot of pride in our house and we're deeply sorry they didn't enjoy their trip despite our efforts.

We did apologize for the minor cleaning issues you had and made sure to talk to our cleaner about that. As for the internet issue, this was partly a neighborhood outage, which is obviously completely out of our control. Once we noticed there were still issues after work had been completed in the neighborhood, we got a technician there very quickly to fix the issue. We didn’t tell you you had to be at the house, we simply asked that if you were there could the repairman come inside. We had our property manager come over to be there for the fix. And you guys were also at the house during the fix. Sometimes things happen beyond our control, but we always make the best effort to gets things fixed and corrected as quickly as possible, which was the case here.
