Dear Jenny, I sincerely apologise as it is clear that you have been left disappointed with the bees situation. However, I must say that we do feel we have been very accommodating with the multiple demands we received daily from you. We tried our very best to ensure a happy stay for you and your family. I did assure you there was no infestation, and the bees are only seeking to drink some water by the pool grates on the outside edge of the pool. They are not pests, they are there minding their own business and do not sting unless they are provoked. Every year they choose different water source in different location up to 5 km radius to drink water when its super hot. They are protected in Crete. This issue is not exclusive to our villa, and is always going to occur some times in some location in such green and diverse habitat. Despite our reassurance, you had instructed us to kill them. We gave in and used sticky pads and peppermint spray. I don't know where you have gotten the idea that Fish guts were used.. that is quite frankly an absurd lie. Peppermint spray isn't toxic, I gave it to you to use it in the area is because bees don't like the smell. I am really sorry that you have to spray it yourself, as it is quite unrealistic for you to assume that we would hire somebody to stand by the pool waiting for the bees to come to drink water and spray them for you. We were trying our hardest to find solutions, as it is the first time in over 10 years that we have dealt with such situation. Still we are glad to hear that despite the bees situations, you found the villa and its proximity to beaches and all amenities are great. We genuinely hope that you were still able to make some wonderful family memories from your stay.

Dear Rebecca, thank you for your feedback. I always want my guests to have a good stay in my villa so I'm very sorry to have read your feedback. Im glad that the pool heating was fixed without delay. I'm also very sorry about the leaking to the bath and the toilet. I could not do anything about it because the maintenance guy Jimmy has visited you a few times about it and he could not find any problem. I did also enquired with the guest who left not long before your stay, they were not aware any of the problems. I now have asked the current guests, they finds no problem either. So I did not know how to resolve it for you. I have ordered a brand new dishwasher immediately after you informed me about the leak and Jimmy confirmed that the small leak is due to the wear tear of the dishwasher door seal. Unfortunately the delivery of the dishwasher was not speedy enough for your stay. The kitchen sink have been unblocked after many hours of trying and discovered many rubbishes in it that should be in the waste bin instead of the kitchen drain. Once again I'm saddened that you did not have a very good stay in my villa. I will continue to work hard and improve the villa because I know holidays are something special to look forward to.
