45 minutter fra lufthavnen, er Casa Lia sat i den uspolerede bakker i Forest of Conceicao, med smuk udsigt over landskabet og havet. 15 minutters kørsel fra den smukke by Tavira med sine brostensbelagte gader og fremragende restauranter. Vi har et udvalg af gode strande såsom Manta Rota, Ilha de Tavira, Cabanas kun 15 minutter væk. Børns attraktioner som Aqua Show og Zoo Marine er en bil ride væk. Køkkenet er stort og veludstyret og åbent plan med stuen, som er meget komfortabel med tre store sofaer, satellit-tv dvd-afspiller, stereoanlæg. Separat bryggers huser en anden køleskab, fryser, opvaskemaskine, vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Interiør af villa måler 209 kvadratmeter.

Great family holiday at Casa Lia!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Lia in September. The weather was perfect and the villa was everything we needed for a relaxing week. Tavira is also a lovely place, with lots of great restaurants!

A lovely stay had by all of us as a family of 5. Very detailed local information and directions, an easy check-in and helpful contacts who met us there. Secluded, peaceful but still within easy reach of fantastic beaches and restaurants. 5*

Beautiful home and property. Quiet and well located to get to beaches and Tavira easily by car. Would highly recommend. The host checked in regularly, and offered lots of good information. House was well stocked, but if you are arriving late, make sure to pick up groceries.

Beautiful villa in the hills

We loved the quiet secluded location,with beautiful views in all directions, yet only 10/15 mins from Tavira. Great restaurants close by and in the town. Fabulous villa with gorgeous pool. Clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for to make your stay perfect. Fantastic BBQ and terrace for lovely outdoor dining. The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Great vacation place!

The villa is comfortable (we traveled only as 3 people but it’s a good place for 4-6) and located in a very serene area. You will have beautiful views around but need to drive around 20-25 min to beautiful beaches. The roads are however pretty and not too narrow so for us it was a pleasure to drive every day. The house was extremely clean and check-in very nice and easy.Debbie was always very helpful with lots of handy information. We had a wonderful vacation in Casa Lia and highly recommend it!

Zen getaway

We stayed at the Villa 11 perfect days. We visited the Algarve and this was our homebase. Debbie the owner was soooo on top of things and helpful whenever we needed help.. Jimmy and Fatima catered to our every needs if we needed help. The Villa was spacious and clean, the views were breathtaking,it was the perfect feeling of calmness.

Very nice house with a beautiful view

The house and location is very well described on the website and you get what you see - a very nice house with a beautiful view. My husband, daughter and I enjoyed every moment. The location is peaceful and you simply can just relax and enjoy the pool. Both Denise and Debbie are really nice and helpful so you feel you are in good hands during the whole stay. We can highly recommend this place. Tavira is very nice and cosy and the beaches are just amazing.

Magical

From driving up on the first night and seeing the beautiful driveway lights, to our leisurely final day by the pool, this villa has been exquisite throughout. The owner has found just the right balance between keeping it extremely clean while making it a comfortable and fun place to spend your hols. It’s remote (how we like it) but just 10 minute drive from restaurants/ supermarkets etc. Imagine waking up in the stunning natural Algarve nature and jumping into your own private pool in the hills. I’ll never forget the peace this place put in my heart. Would I come again? You betcha!

Peace and tranquility

Casa Lia was clean and really well-equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The outdoor space was perfect with a table in a shaded area and a pool perfect for cooling off. It was really windy while we were there - particularly at night so if you are a light sleeper ear plugs might be handy. The communication with Debbie, the owner was great and Jimmy and Fatima were on hand to guide us to the Villa when we arrived and deal with any queries. The villa is in a stunning location - completely away from other properties. It is about a 15 minute drive from Tavira which is a beautiful town - and especially stunning at night. Local beaches are great - we’d particularly recommend Cacela Velha. Casa Lia was a fantastic place for real rest and relaxation!

Amazing place!

Our vacation is ready, we are home. What a great vacation it was! Thanks to Debbie, Denise and Jimmy!! Debbie is available 24/7 and a great host. Sweet, involved and sincere. And Denise and Jimmy are always around in case something goes wrong! And respect your privacy. During our holiday we literally stood in front of some hot fires. And Debbie was always ready…. With a sweet app or a phone call to let you know how things are going. The house is lovely. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is here and more! Peace, freedom and sun. Highly recommended. Einfach nur toll!

Die Villa war wirklich toll. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht! Die Räume sind schön hell und man genießt die Zeit drinnen als auch am Pool! Wer zudem die Ruhe genießt und gleichzeitig in kurzer Zeit mit dem Mietwagen in Tavira und Umgebung sein will, wird hier sehr glücklich sein!

Vacances entre amis

Tres belles vacances à Casa Lia. La piscine est très agréable, la terrasse aussi. La maison est spacieuse et très bien entretenue ( merci à Jimmy et à sa femme) tout est conforme à la description de l annonce . L environnement est très calme. ( on aurait apprécié des rideaux occultants dans les chambres) . Merci pour tout.

Ruhe und Erholung

Wir haben Ruhe gesucht und hier gefunden. Keine Nachbarn in der Nähe, auf dem Hügel gelegen, viel Wind zur Abkühlung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Debbie und die Hausverwaltung waren immer jederzeit erreichbar. 😃

Perfect rural getaway

Fantastic place to stay, away from it all but had everything we needed. Pool wasn't heated but we soon got used to the cool water and the location was perfect. Great contact from owner and property manager.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen! Debbie war eine tolle Gastgeberin! Sie hat uns im Vorfeld gut informiert, sich während unseres Urlaubs regelmäßig nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt und stand auch ansonsten immer umgehend für Rückfragen zur Verfügung! Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt und was uns besonders gefreut hat, auch das Haus wurde jede Woche gründlich gereinigt! Super! Klare Weiterempfehlung auf allen Ebenen!

Wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen

Peaceful and relaxing

Had a lovely week in the villa it is very well appointed and has everything you need. The area is very peaceful and there is lots of space. It is about a 15 min drive into Tavira, with a couple of local restaurants 5 mins drive away. If you want a great relaxing holiday in a beautiful area recommenced very much.

And breathe.........

Our third visit to Casa Lia which must say something! We love the well equipped house and it's lovely garden and pool which we can happily spend many hours in. We love the location, away from the crowds with far reaching views and the peace and quiet. We love the friendly nature of the owner and the people who look after the villa and pool who are always so helpful. There really is nothing we don't love about the place and we will be back!

The most relaxing vacation!

We stayed 2 weeks at Casa Lia and really enjoyed it. The house is spacious and we especially liked the outside area at the pool a lot. Since there are no direct neighbors it was wonderful that the kids were able to play at the pool and did not disturb anyone with noise. It is so peaceful out there and we were really able to relax! The drive from the main road (125) to the house is quiet a bit (about 15 minutes), but that is ok. Our favorite beaches were Cabanas and Praia Verde.

Unsere Auszeit vom Stress und Alltag im Casa Lia

Casa Lia ist ideal um eine Auszeit vom Stress und Alltag zu nehmen. Casa Lia ist ideal dafür in den Hügeln nahe dem Wald von Conceicao gelegen. Das Ferienhaus ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es ist sehr sauber und in einem gepflegten Zustand. Auf der Terasse haben wir bei einer Tasse Kaffee traumhafte Sonneaufgänge genossen. Am Nachmittag am Pool relaxt und am Abend bei einem Glas Wein den Tag ausklingen lassen. Zur Stadt Tavira mit dem sehenswerten Stadtkern und unzähligen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sind es nur 15 Minuten. Auch zu den Stränden nach Ilha de Tavira, Mata Rota oder Cabanas ist es nicht viel mehr. Die Strände sind allesamt sehr weitläufig und laden zu langen Spaziergängen und zum baden im Meer ein. Ausgedehnte Tagesausflüge von Casa Lia führten uns zu historischen Gebäuden nahe der spanischen Grenze, über Sand City, Carvoeiro, Albufeira bis Cabo Verde. An den Stränden vor der einzigartigen Steilküste findet man immer einen Platz um den fantastischen Ausblick zu geniesen. Der Kontakt zu Debbie war und ist immer noch super nett. Debbie stand uns in allen Fragen zu jeder Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Auch Mitchel vor Ort, hat uns immer seine Unterstützung angeboten. Amazing holiday

We were let down by the villa we had originally wanted to book in Spain and so had a last minute scramble to find somewhere to stay within our budget. Debbie was so helpful when I spoken to her and assured me that the Villa sounded like just what we needed. The pictures looked amazing and so we were quite excited. The whole process was very easy, We arrived in Faro and picked up our hire car, we called Mitchell and he was happy with us going shopping first and then meeting him. We found Aldi in Tavira with no trouble and bought a few bits to see us through the first few days and then met Mitchell for the final drive up to the villa. When we arrived, after the slightly hairy drive with narrow roads (I have never driven a LH drive car before) we arrived at the most amazing and beautiful location. The Villa was clean, light, bright and airy. With no immediate neighbours it was also very peaceful. There was plenty of space both inside and outside and amazing views from the roof terrace. You could even see the sea on the horizon. The rooms were all comfortable and clean, despite my visitor (I found a gecko on the wall but he kept hiding somewhere so I couldn't put him out) I slept very well. My friends found it a little too quiet, but they both live in a city so are not used the silence. We travelled to Tavira on 2 days of our short stay and found it to be a beautiful place, the people were all very friendly and the food in bar/restaurant Matias was amazing. We also took a drive to Pedras D'el Rei which was very easy to find with stunning beaches. it seemed very popular though with the beach still being packed when we arrived at 5.30pm. All in all we had an amzing break and are already thinking of returning next year and recommending it to our family and friends.

We have really hectic lives and holidays are really important to us. Casa Lia, is home from home.
Portugal is a beautiful country, relatively unspoiled by tourism. I went to night school last year to learn the language! When I am not wearing my bikini at the villa, I am a bit of an anorak. Holidays are very much family time for us, which we really treasure and I suppose I hope the girls will keep coming on holiday to our lovely home for as long as possible, perhaps even with grandchildren one day!

Tavira is in a really unspoiled part of the Algarve. It's a very pretty Roman town with cobbled streets and lovely restaurants. My husband and I love totally peaceful holidays which is why we bought Casa Lia. When the girls were small they loved Casa Lia and now they are 25 and 28 they love all the things that young people do. It's important that there's enough to keep them occupied. They bring their partners with them and spend days splashing in the pool, listening to CDs and when it gets too hot they chilled with DVDs in the air-conditioning. The enjoyed the new shopping centre, went to Faro, Manta Rota, Cabanas, Cacela Velha,and ate delicious meals in Tavira, enjoyed the entertainment in the square, went to an open air concert with fireworks in Manta Rota and had beach days there and at Praia Verde.

We came to Tavira in November 2007 and viewed 40 properties in 5 days. With Casa Lia, it was pretty much love at first sight. We couldn't get over the feeling of sheer space, light and sunshine. The marble tiles in the bathrooms are nicer than the ones we have at home!
You stand outside the house and it is almost shockingly peaceful. If two birds twitter at the same time, that seems noisy! Perhaps you'll hear the buzz of a Vespa scooter a mile away, but that's about it. The views are panoramic with the Atlantic in the distance and around you beautiful rolling countryside. We have almost three acres, so total privacy is what you get. Sitting there early in the morning before the children get up with my fresh coffee and a good book I feel the stress just flow away! Why do we live in London?..
