Dear Steve, Thank you for your wonderful comments regarding our service, the unique beachfront location of the villa, the spectacular views and sunsets as also the quality, comfort and space of our outdoor areas and furniture. We are delighted you all had a wonderful holiday with us (which you also mentioned a few times during your stay) but also a bit sorry that your review concentrated mostly on a few issues that, had we known, we could have fixed within minutes, which would have made your holiday even more enjoyable. Any other requests you made during your stay (e.g. arranging a chef to prepare a private dinner for your group on site, booking airport transfers, reservations at restaurants, etc.) we immediately arranged for you. So it is a shame and a bit unfair that you waited 14 days for your holidays to end and then go back home to let us know of these issues on the 15th day via this written internet review rather than telling us whilst you were here and allowing us to fix these issues right from the start. A misplaced socket adaptor for the TV decoder, a bed sheet that was accidentally smaller due to an oversight by a cleaning lady and an air conditioning unit that merely needed the settings changed are issues we could have sorted in less than half an hour. Yet this review will unfortunately be adversely affecting our small family business for several years to come which does not seem right. Regarding the indoor furniture, I am certain that the real leather sofa and dining set we have in the villa are more expensive than the ones made with fabric, as I compared the prices when we bought them, so I am a bit confused by your comment. In any case I hope our potential guests will also read the tens of 5 star reviews we have had to date and still decide to visit us. And like hundred other guests we had the pleasure of welcoming to our villa, they too will have a fantastic time. It is worth mentioning that several groups that visit us each year are groups that already visited us again in the past and had such a memorable holiday that decided to visit us again. Hi Laura, Thank you so much for your wonderful comments about our service and location, as also that our photos are representative of the relaxation and privacy that our villa offers. We are so sorry you felt the wifi was slow. The guests occupying the villa just before you visited us, were in fact complementing the high quality and speed of our internet so on reading your review we had a look. We found out that the router was indeed malfunctioning, so we immediately replaced it with a brand new one. It is a shame you did not mention the issue immediately once you arrived as we pay for 24 hour support and could have sorted it out for you there and then. As for the mattresses, most of our guests prefer the mattresses to be soft to medium soft, hence, the fact that we opted not to have really hard mattresses. Nevertheless, thank you for your constructive comments, which we shall definitely act upon so that we maintain the 5 star service we aim to offer to our guests.
