Two Weeks in Paradise

This 2 bedroom condo was spacious and comfortable for the four of us - the furniture and Barbados themed decor made us feel instantly at home.It had everything you could possibly need - we used the hummingbird feeder and candles on the deck, the snorkel flippers, floaters and large towels at the beach and enjoyed the impressive selection of books, puzzles and games in the evenings. The kitchen was stocked incredibly well - every single utensil and cooking appliance we could think of was there . The condo came with a healthy starting supply of the essentials - toilet paper, soap, detergents,etc..We also took advantage of the pool in the evening (open till 9) and the weekly fruit and vegetable truck in the parking lot. When we did have an issue - it was solved faster than could be expected at home - upon realizing a light switch would not turn off , we called the property manager who said she would call an electrician which she confirmed ten minutes later - he showed up shortly and left again to purchase a new part and again back shortly and done - just over an hour with problem solved - an 11/10 for service! I cannot express how much we enjoyed our temporary home in Barbados - we will be back! Nadine

very convenient location

very convenient location; walking distance to lots of restaurants and the beach. short drive to dive shops. AC in the bedrooms worked very well. we didn't cook, but kitchen seemed well stocked.

Comfortable stay

The apartment location is good. Its perfect since we had rental car to get around. The apartment is clean and I feel safe during my stays. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook. Ann was such a great resource and a big help to us. She gave us great suggestions on several local foods and restaurants. The farmer market on the weekend was also fantastic. Here are fews things you need to know. One - You are on the island. All stores are closed on Sunday. No jokes so plan your weekend accordingly. Next, the apartment is on the second floor. There is no elevator in the building. We had 6 luggages since our daughter will be living at Ross Medical school, it was very challenging. Lastly, the neighborhood’s dog near the master bedroom barks a lot and unfortunately all hours. Our family woke up very early so after a week, I was getting use to him barking by then. All and all it was a great stays. The host always answered our concerns even when she was on vacation. We definitely will stay here again.

Cosy, Comfortable, Carlisle Bay

We stayed at 9 Banyan Court. Exactly as described. We love Pebbles beach so this place is perfect, right across the road. Joined the Barbados Cruising Club, great for sun beds, kayaks/paddle boards. Dippers bar is fine for drinks and food. The pool is great for an early morning swim. The property manager is very helpful if needed. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need from music speaker to snorkels. Brilliant. Not many local restaurants on the door step but we were happy to walk into Hastings say 20 mins or 5 mins on bus, easy . The beach is outstanding, calm crystal blue water on a nice day. Hard to beat anywhere on the island in my opinion. Must say, the owner is also super helpful.

Very nice 2 bdrm close to beautiful Carlisle Bay

The property is accurately described in the listing and in the photos. While there is some road noise - especially evident in the early evening, things really quiet down after 9pm so traffic noise in no way affected our ability to get a good sleep, especially with the A/C on. Carlisle Bay is very close - about a 5 min walk, and we swam with sea turtles literally every day - no need to book a snorkelling excursion - just wait til a turtle pops its head up and run in after it - usually 30-50m from shore. Local restaurants are good, and present a nice variety of take-out options. Heidi responded promptly to inquires and was very accommodating when we had to cut our trip short for personal reasons. Ann, the local property manager, was absolutely fantastic; she was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this rental and hope to return some time in the future for a longer stay.

Lovely Barbados

This apartment is in a convenient location. The check in was very easy. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need with a great working fridge and stove .

Excellent value

I recently stayed at Heidi’s place at Banyan Court with a friend while attending a wedding. It was located 5 minutes from the main hotel where most guests were staying, so that was a real plus. The beach was great very near, the water delightful and beautiful. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. and had everything you need. Air con and fans worked well. Safe area. I would highly recommend the place. The kitchen was a little dated, but everything worked! The only negative was the lack of good restaurants in the area for breakfast. Not much opens before 10-11 o’clock. Snacks etc available at Sol, a minimart/ gas station just down the street. Fortunately, lots of public transport in to Bridgetown runs along the main road ($3.50 Barbadian). It’s about a 25 min walk or 10 by bus/ minivan. There is the George Washington Museum nearby ( he stayed there with his brother for a short time) and the nearly BarbAdos Museum was worth the visit. You really must hit Cuz, a fish sandwich snack bar on nearby Pebble Beach. Ate there the first day—- the sandwich and a beer were a perfect first meal in Barbados! Add the pepper sauce! 😀😀 Be sure to visit the hilly north end of the island. Beautiful view and cliffs. Very good for those who love photography! Finally, I must commend Heidi, who always got back to me in a short time both before and during the visit. Would definitely stay there again.

Well appointed and located!

Air conditioning in both bedrooms. Comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped! But not only that, they have beach umbrellas, flippers and mask and snorkels and beach chairs for you to use. You can see the sea from the balcony. A short walk to the beach, to grab a roti or hummous wrap or fish cutter. I highly recommend if you want to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel.

Love being so close to Pebble Beach and Carlisle Bay

I love this apartment. It is so comfortable and pleasantly put together. It's great to have the 2 bathrooms for 4 guests. The kitchen has everything you need - we cooked there all the time and had cozy dinners on the dining table. The lighting is very good. I also love being on the second floor and sitting out on the porch where you see the bougainvillea growing in the garden below or standing up to see the turquoise sea there by the Yacht Club. The apartment is located near the corner of Bay street and Chealsea Road so there is road noise, but because of its location, you can walk to Pebbles, to Carlisle Bay, to the Garrison, to the Indian Grill for Rotis, to the corner store and the pharmacy, grab a ZR taxi, it is all very convenient. The pool is a stroll away and we used it when we just wanted a quick cool off and it also has a high-pressure outdoor shower. The wifi is great and the bedrooms are cooled nicely with A/C for good sleeping. The apartment also has a great assortment of swim and beach gear. It's hard to go wrong!

Great apartment, highly recommended!

We had a great time at Banyan Court, where we spend 2 weeks as a family (2 adults and 2 young children). This place is perfect if you are not into luxury hotels and prefer self-catering, so that you can enjoy a more homely feel and more flexibility (not mentioning much cheaper!). The accommodation was just what we needed with special appreciation for: spacious bedrooms and living room, great kitchen with especially good cooker, fridge and appliances, very comfortable beds, mosquito nets on all windows (it was the 1st time in my 6 visits to Barbados that the pesky insects didn't bother me!), good functioning A/C, very clean and quiet pool, and finally great little info folder (much better than google!). The staff was also very helpful and friendly, and we appreciated the fruit & veg van in the car park on Friday morning (discovered by chance!!). The location was great for us as we had family in the area, and our favorite beach was right around the corner. The kids really enjoyed using all the pool/beach equipment available, especially the bodyboard! Overall we are very satisfied, and would definitely stay there again... highly recommended!

Clean and well located

We spent 10 days in this lovely condo. Nicely furnished, kitchen well stocked, clean. Our king size bed was extremely comfortable, lots of pillows. Air condition works well. Carlisle Bay beaches are a 5 minute walk. Most beautiful beaches of the island, clean crystal waters. We swam with turtles and saw stingrays. No need to rent a car, bus stop in front of the complex, we never waited more than 3 or 4 mins for a bus. Convenient store next to the condo complex is very practical for eggs, milk, even rum! It was nice to have the pool to dip in at the end of a hot day. The owner Heidi is very accessible, easy and quick communications. Had a great time.

Great condo!!!

We had a good time in this accommodation. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped. You can walk to the beautiful beach in 5 minutes and the center of Bridgetown in 20 minutes. We thank Mrs Redon for her kindness and patience.

Great accommodation, fantastic location!

This unit feels like home. It is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with many glasses, dishes and everything kitchen gadget you could possibly need. The full sized stove and fridge made it easy to stock up with food and prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and ample linens were provided. The grounds are well maintained and full of beautiful, lush tropical plants and birds. I typically will not swim in pools, but this one was absolutely clean! and the water crystal clear I just had to go in. Having said all of this, you cannot beat the location of this unit. From the balcony you had a view of the most beautiful sunsets. With just a walk across the street, you find the most beautiful beach. We were even inspired to try paddle boarding as the water was so clam and safe. We were amazed that a stroll in any direction brought us to more wonderful beaches. Great restaurants could be found within walking distance. A short ride away was Bridgetown and St. Lawerence Gap and other must see places. The owner, Heidi, the office staff and the manager were all friendly and so helpful during our two week stay! It was a fantastic holiday and we've decided that we would love to stay there again and have already recommended it to our friends and family.

Great Location for Beach, Snorkel, Scuba and More!

Our family of three, plus one friend (all adults) had a wonderful two-week stay at this very comfortable condo on our first trip to the Caribbean. We chose this condo first for its location, as it was close to the Radisson Aquatica where we attended an eight-day convention. Second, for its amenities, especially fully-appointed kitchen, two bedroom/two bathrooms, and WiFi (fast!). There was A/C in the bedrooms, which made for comfortable sleeping for some of us, but the other half loved the heat and an occasional fan was all that was needed for a great night’s rest. Before arriving in Barbados, Ms. Redon was very quick to respond to our every question by email/text and phone. The manager, Jan, was also very prompt to respond and went the extra mile in making our stay a successful one. Raymond and his wife, Daniella, a block over at Bajan Car Rentals, were very courteous and rented us a sporty and comfortable, new five-seater Hyundai Accent, which we took on several trips and was very handy to get around for local shopping in Bridgetown. We enjoyed purchasing freshly caught fish at Oistin’s Fish Market. The local dive shop, located on the beach to the north, was only a few minutes walk (about a block). I had a great time scuba diving, eight dives (including the S.S. Stavronikita) and snorkeling from a catamaran with friends and turtles in the beautiful, clear water. I highly recommend the Dive Shop owned and operated by Fatema and her great crew including dive master, Julian, whom I spent many an early morning visit with. This condo was a prime factor for our very enjoyable and successful trip!

Relaxation in a perfect location

My husband and I stayed in Banyan court with our adult daughter. The apartment accommodated our family nicely with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. We cooked fresh fish that we bought from the fish market in Bridgetown as well as other groceries we purchased. There were plenty of cooking and eating utensils and a nice big dining table to enjoy meals. We often sat on the balcony for morning coffee. Sleep was comfortable in the beds provided and the air conditioning worked very well. I sleep to the white noise of a fan every night so was glad that Hiedi had fans in all the rooms. They also helped drown out the noise of the traffic. However, we were so active there that falling asleep in comfort wasn't a problem for us. The beach was a short walk away and it is beautiful! We enjoyed touring George Washington House down the road and visiting St Lawrence Gap. We are a walking family but occasionally hopped a bus to get where we needed to go. Very easy! This was our 3rd trip to Barbados and will be returning for more as we can't get enough of this friendly, warm, relaxing island. And this will be the apartment we will book again in the future.

Hi a very nice Location, just 2 min walk from the beach of Carlisle Bay. The appartment is well equiped, clean and comfortable. Just the missing window glasses keeps it a bit noise during night. All over we had a great time in Bridgetown

Perfect Getaway

My husband and two sons (6 & 8) stayed here for 8 nights. The location is absolutely perfect, only a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach! We walked down one morning around 6am to watch the race horses having their morning swim. The condo itself had everything we needed and was clean and spacious enough for the 4 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and there were beach towels and even some pool floats for the kids. There is a gas station right behind the condos which was very convenient for snacks, milk, eggs etc. Cuz's Fish Shack and the Indian Grill are on the way to the beach - make sure to get a fish cutter and a rotis while you're there. The only 'con' I can think of was that the road the master bedroom faces can be quite busy, making it a little noisy but the fan and the AC can dampen it significantly. We really enjoyed the pool for the kids in the evening and one night we went down, there were 4 green monkeys hanging around the trees. There are also plenty of buses and #11 to hop on to take you to anywhere you may want to go. We only rented a car to go up to the North point to the Animal Flower Caves. Bajan Car Rentals is just up the road and were very helpful. Heidi, the owner, was very prompt and helpful with all of my questions as was Jan, the property manager. We won't hesitate to book this place again for what is sure to become an annual trip for our family.

Lovely Barbados

This was the first time we stayed in Banyan Court but the second time we have been to Barbados. The first trip we stayed in the nearby Radisson but it wasn't suited to our travel style. We found our stay at Banyan Court much more pleasant with ample room and a well appointed kitchen. All the fans and A/C in the bedrooms worked well which made sleeping comfortable. There was always ample hot water and the two bathrooms were convenient to have. We were there on a scuba dive trip so the proximity to ocean and the dive shop were important - just a five minute walk away. Close to a food 'court' area and gas station for convenience purchases. Bus stop next to the convenience store gets you to Accra Beach, Oistins and St. Lawrence Gap. Great apartment, excellent location. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Perfect Barbados Experience!

This visit was the 3rd time we stayed in Banyan Court. The 2 bed/2 bath layout with full kitchen is very spacious and well appointed. A/C in the bedrooms made it very comfortable for sleeping. On site laundry and swimming pool, plus 24hr security. The location is very central and convenient, 2 mins walk to bus stop and car rental place, which will take you all over the island. 7 mins walk to spectacular Carlisle Bay, Pebbles Beach, Brownes Beach, restaurants and shops. We plan to visit again soon!

We have always enjoyed our vacations here, as it is within walking distance to one of the best beaches in Barbados and close to many amenities: the Barbados Yacht Club, shops, and many restaurants. Delicious fresh fish sandwiches are available at the beachside hut every day or choose from a variety of nearby restaurants. Shopping, supermarkets and banking are all within a short ten-minute drive into Bridgetown or to a nearby shopping mall.

Just a great place to relax, and have fun!
