Had a great couple of weeks staying at Egryn Bach. Stuart was very helpful with getting settled in and the house was just as advertised, cosy and well equipped in a great location a couple of minutes of the beach. The beach hut was an added bonus and really helped us enjoy the nice weather.

Lovely house, kitchen, utility room, living room, snug, 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin, downstairs loo and upstairs bathroom. With all we could need for the week. Washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, with liquid and tablets / pods provided. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels included, and changed after a week. Great location, on the right side of the village for the beach road. Fairly long private drive to the property, with plenty of parking at the back, picnic table at front and back, yard at the back and lawn at the front. Stu was very good at communicating before, and when we needed during the 11 days. Many thanks!

Lovely place close to the beach

Stuart made us feel most welcome and made sure that we had everything to be comfortable. There even were some Easter treats and a very good bottle of wine. Thanks so much again for all these lovely, welcoming gestures. The house is beautiful, meticulously clean in a quiet location with a beautiful garden, 2 min walking distance from the beach. Loads of exploring on foot and daytrips to do from there. We had a great and relaxing time and will be back. Thanks for everything.

Perfect hosts

The owners clearly pride themselves on looking after their guests, making sure the house is immaculate, everything is provided for and easy to use. If there had been any issues we are confident they would have been resolved straight away. There is plenty of room for storing equipment in the shed and car park area behind the house, which is only a short walk from the beach and the lovely beach hut.

Egryn Bach Holiday

We all had a wonderful holiday at Egryn Bach, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and plenty of room for the 4 of us. The bedrooms were of a good size and plenty of drawer and hanging space. The lounge and sitting room areas were lovely and a great selection of leaflets regarding places to visit in North Wales. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts: Stuart and Amanda, who welcomed us soon after we arrived and kindly provided us with useful info to help orientate us to Nefyn and its locality. The beach hut was a wonderful addition to the holiday which we made full use of, even better was that it was literally less than 5 minutes walk to the door of the hut - Fabulous! The children made full use of the sea ... although they were much braver than the adults who decided it was rather cold and just paddled instead! Lovely area to sit out at the front of the house to enjoy the lovely front garden. We definitely hope to return again in the future.

North Wales Lynn Peninsula

Our host Stuart was very helpful and accommodating. He showed us around the house which was clean and tidy. Very comfortable rooms. A couple of things which we missed but we’re not in the property were probably quirky to us rather than an omission. In any case when mentioned to Stuart he was super accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. WiFi is a little sporadic as it is shared with the main house (next door) and if it is overloaded it struggles.. Maybe think of adding a measuring jug some baking trays and some pasta bowls.. lovely garden at the front and our own area to chill. Note the BBQ was not really functional as it was rusty and not been used for a while. Finally the beach hut was a huge plus. Very enjoyable all round..

Thank you for your review. * WiFi did have a local (village issue) now resolved * Measuring Jug (Pyrex not plastic) has always been & still is in the kitchen cupboard. * Additional baking trays were provided upon request. * Pasta bowls (never requested before) have now been added to the extensive inventory. * BBQ - A complete set of new tray & wires was/is in the store shed ready for use if desired. Glad you enjoyed your stay & found the Beach Hut a bonus.

Heatwave week, middle of July 2021

We had a wonderful stay, Egryn Bach was so clean and perfect. Only one downfall, the description says 2 mins walk to the beach, which it is, but it takes much longer to get back, (obviously depending on who is staying in the accommodation) as there is a very steep walk back up from the beach which wasn’t mentioned in the description (there are plenty of benches on the way up though so you can take a breather if needed). The beach hut was brilliant, well furnished with chairs etc and very handy for leaving beach toys each day. The bay didn’t get very busy at all as there are not many parking spaces for day visitors though there is a car park in the village. All in all, we had a most enjoyable stay, everything was perfect and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Egrin Bach 😀

Week at End of June, early July 2021

Hi, we had a wonderful holiday in this house. It is excellent condition, quality, equipped and brilliant location. We only had 4 adults but there is plenty room to accommodate 6 people with numerous sitting areas, large kitchen and garden space. The hosts are lovely and friendly and very attentive if you needed anything. We had no issues.., everything was perfect. The location has plenty to do in the close area but also very tranquil and peaceful if you just want to enjoy the village, beach and walks. We had use of the beach hut and used it frequently. The walks around the beach bays are amazing. The house is such a lovely place to relax. We will definitely be back very soon. :)

A lovely family home

We spent a great week at this lovely place. The area is really beautiful with fantastic walks, pubs, beaches and lots of wonderful skies and views. The children loved it. The house made a perfect base - it's clean, calm and has everything you could need. Stuart and Amanda were really kind and helpful - they particularly helped us out when our son wasn't very well and that made a huge difference to our visit. Would highly recommend this rental - you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant Holiday with family

Not often do I put pen to paper but I thought this time after a fabulous holiday in NorthWales I must say Thank You to Amanda and Stuart for making our holiday relaxing and trouble free. What a spectacular place to stay, not isolated or overrun with the bustle of a Town but a small Village with local shops and a Post Office and restaurants near by. We really felt like a family as we walked along the beach and also in the mountains. The accommodation was clean, bright and everything you needed was there. WiFi connected was also useful for the children to send photos of their holiday on Facebook to friends . I loved the warm welcome and the hospitality of Amanda and Stuart and a free bottle of wine on arrival which went down well. A short walk to the shops and meeting the locals was also fun and friendly, then the walk along the beach to drop-in to a unique Pub were we did spend some time :-) One of the happiest holidays we’ve ever had. Once again thank you Amanda and Stuart. David Graham and family.

Our Dream Holiday in Wales

Booked this one late on and we were not disappointed. Family wanted to do different things but be together in a comfortable place evenings etc. I like to fish and golf a bit..well one of the best golf courses is just down the road, great beach round the corner + plenty of trains & castles for us all to have a go at! The village shops, great pub restaurant and ‘take aways’ are all close, all good. The house is very comfortable and is so well equipped we needed nothing. Even wine on arrival... Amanda & Stuart really have got this right ! Brilliant location & with so much to see/do we will definitely be back.

A beautiful house right by the seaside!

We booked Egryn Bach for me, my wife & our daughter – only the three of us in this beautiful property for 6 but we like the space and were not disappointed. Booking was simple & made directly with the owners (Stuart & Amanda). Clearly they are experienced with all our questions, additional information regarding the property and various local activities being covered. Payment was initial deposit then balance later all via bank transfer – easy! On arrival the grounds seem to be professionally kept. The pictures are spot on! With private parking the house is maintained to a meticulously high standard inside & out with super comfortable beds, soft furnishings, excellent decor & completely equipped. We were shown around and then left to holiday after being assured Stuart & Amanda were on hand if needed. Out & about no shortage of things to do & see - lovely beach just a walk away, shops & good eateries all close too. Favourite place for us was the ‘Ty Coch’ (pub on the beach) and the walk over the golf course to it which is a headland area with stunning views. Egryn Bach is a gem of a property to come home to after our days out then we stretched the relaxation factor late into the evening with the complimentary wine left for us. Our daughter was delighted as the TV was huge and there’s one in each bedroom too! Overall a brilliant holiday in a house and owners that exceeded our expectations in every way....we will be back very soon! Thanks

Couldn't be bettered! Alan and Susan Jones

We have been visiting Nefyn for 30 years staying in many different holiday homes, Egryn Bach has to top the list! It is a beautiful house, very well equipped and in a perfect position for the beach, shops and restaurants. It really is 'home from home' and very clean and comfortable. The owners are very pleasant and caring, nothing is too much trouble and we felt very welcome. We enjoyed breakfast in the garden at the front of the house and family barbecues at the rear in the evening sun. Plenty of car parking was an added bonus. We highly recommend a holiday at Egryn Bach and look forward to returning in the future! Alan and Susan Jones and family, East Yorkshire

Lovely retreat in North Wales

Greeted on arrival introduced and then left to our own devices. Essentials ready for us to have a cuppa before exploring, and a lovely bottle of red wine for later! The beach is 5 minutes away and the cove is beautiful. The weather wasn't great, but there is lots to do in the area. This was a great place to return to after a long day out. Clean and homely, with a space for a bit of privacy if you needed it .We saw all we needed to in the area so we won't be back. You must see Bardsey Island. Spa close by with good selection so we cooked a couple of nights. Recommend it as a base to travel, Nefyn is small, but the beach is beautiful.
