Jasmine cottage er sød og malerisk med en fantastisk udsigt. Nr byen Richelieu. ejendom har for nylig gennemgået en større og tankevækkende renovering, veludstyret indkvartering af høj kvalitet .. Vores afsondrede sommerhus ligger i en halv mål. Med så mange forskellige spise al fresco spisepladser, charmerende om dagen og magisk om natten. Begge 2 soveværelser har ensuite badeværelser, et ovenpå, et nedenunder (enhed). Gør det meget privat for 2 par, der ferierer sammen. Vi har en fremragende landsby: Monts- sur Guesnes-faciliteter vores, dagligvarebutik, bageri, bar / restaurant, bank, pengeautomat, postkontor, kiosk, apotek, kunstgalleri, turistinformation, teater. 10 minutter til den historiske by Richelieu, som giver mange amentier, antikke marked, smukke pladser, chateau park, udendørs svømning. Vi er ideelt placeret til at udforske det smukke landskab såvel som berømte seværdigheder, Chateaux, vinmarker futurescope, golfbaner, cykelruter, ridning, zoologiske haver, kanosejlads.

Our second visit here.Even better than last time. Lovely house and wonderful enclosed gardens with lots of seating areas, hot tub and pool. Great for our dog.Friendly hosts with nothing too much trouble.Highly recommended

Beautiful property

Very comfortable property set in lovely and peaceful private garden with stunning views. Very convenient for chateaux visits but equally enjoyable for relaxing.

Lovely stay, would love to come again!

Stunning property, such a huge garden, the pictures don’t do it justice! So much space, the pool and hot tub are fab and it was great to have a few BBQs and make use of the pizza oven. The cottage is beautiful and quaint and stays nice and cool in the heat. Beautiful rural area and close to amenities and not far from Chinon. Would highly recommend!

A tranquil stay

A quirky property full of character that we enjoyed staying at. Excellent communication with hosts Nigel and his wife. Excellent outside areas to sit and catch the sun or shade at any point in the day and the pool was a welcome relief when the temperatures rose. Richelieu is not to be missed nor either is Mont-sur-Guesnes. We certainly enjoyed the tranquility of the area and would return if we were to come to the area again.

Lovely little place with charm

A three night stay to break our journey back to Roscoff and lovely to relax here. Unfortunately due to weather (it was October!) we couldn't sit outside which looks a lovely space. Hopefully we will be back in better weather.

Lovely Cottage and Garden

Lovely property with a beautiful, enclosed garden which was throughly enjoyed by our two dogs. Sandra and Nigel were excellent hosts, very welcoming and really helpful, Sandra even booked the vets for us for our return paperwork! xxx

Marvellous

Finally a real vacation! A magnificent house, typical of the region, very caring hosts. A huge garden full of surprises, a beautiful swimming pool and sun, sun, sun It is possible to visit many tourist places nearby, and also to enjoy local specialties: Chinon wines and goat cheeses. We really had a wonderful week

Holiday

The cottage is quaint in superb grounds. It has all the facilities that we needed, however it is a little disjointed in terms of one bedroom being away from the centre. The host was brilliant & helped us when needed.

Which you returned next day. You say about disjointed, but for 2 couples sharing it's all a bonus, as private to each other, with being 2 bedrooms ensuite. That's why you booked it I am so happy that my husband could help with the tyre on your car With the bedroom breakage, we where happy to fixed at no extra cost. A Relaxing Country Retreat in Beautiful Central France

What a gem! Nigel and Sandra Berry have created a country cottage with all you will need for a relaxing stay. The property is enchanting. The location is central to many historic and significant cultural sites. Nigel and Sandra themselves are wonderful hosts. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and can highly recommend their gite.

Beautiful, peaceful stay

We loved our stay at Jasmine Cottage. It was so relaxing. The cottage is really comfortable and well-appointed indoors, and having a downstairs bedroom is really handy, though we spent nearly all our time outdoors as the weather was lovely and the garden and facilities were wonderful. There is lots of choice for seating in sun and in shade, and the pool was the perfect spot to cool down. The area is very quiet and although there are plenty of places to explore locally we were having such a good time we only left the cottage to pick up supplies and to enjoy Chinon Market (very nice produce!). Thank you Nigel & Sandra for your hospitality and friendliness - we hope to see you again

Looking for rest? This is the place to be.

We stayed for two weeks in this beautiful house. If you are really looking for a quiet location where the birds are the only sound you hear, then this is the best place to be. The very old house has been wonderfully converted by Nigel into a beautiful place to stay. You have a huge garden at your disposal where you can always find a place to rest or be active from morning to night. Nigel and Sandra, as owners and neighbors, keep a modest background but are ready to help you if you ask for it. From this location it is great to walk between the sunflowers or go by car into the area to beautiful cities such as Tours, Poitiers, Richelieu, La Rochelle and other places. The area you cross offers beautiful views and nice villages.

Jasmine Cottage

We spent a very relaxing week here in early July this year. We have visited the Loire Valley many times but this was our first stay in the Chinon area, which is a beautiful and tranquil part of France. The cottage is an excellent base for exploring the area which we did mostly on bikes. The roads are very quiet and ideal for cycling. The gite is very comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly need is supplied and Nigel and Sandra are superb hosts. We enjoyed our evening meals on the patio, looking out over beautiful countryside.The highlight of our week was the Bistrot meal, prepared by Sandra and served by Nigel. Thoroughly recommended.

Brilliant cottage in quiet countryside, within easy reach of charming towns and villages

Well we found a little bit of paradise. The setting was perfect,quiet, charming, relaxing, an excellent way to wind down. The hosts Nigel and Sandra were so welcoming and had gone the extra mile to ensure we had all we needed. The facilities at Jasmine cottage are first class from various garden games-badminton,darts,boules,croquet and bikes plus plunge pool nestled between the lavender bushes and fig trees and a bubbly hot tub.The surrounding area of Richelieu,very pretty with a beautiful parkland to wander round.Would recommend a trip to Samaur also. Thank you Nigel and Sandra for your kind hospitality on the thursday night,i do hope we can return to your lovely Jasmine Cottage in the near future.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful location

We had a fabulous time staying at Jasmine Cottage. The location is very rural - exactly what we wanted for peace, quiet and switching off from the outside world. We would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing, stress free holiday in a beautiful location. Our 15 year old found the pace slow, but there was plenty to do in the surrounding area if you like to visit markets, chateaux, historical buildings etc. We went to Futuroscope. We would NOT recommend it. We spent the entire day queuing and the experiences lasted only one or two minutes each. Don't waste your money! The grounds of Jasmine Cottage are beautifully maintained by the owners and they were on hand if we needed anything. We had a lovely evening with the owners who couldn't have been more helpful if they had tried. Perfect company. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. A fantastic holiday, so thank you to Nigel and Sandra. We'll be coming back!

Idyllic two weeks

We had a lovely relaxing two weeks at Jasmine Cottage. The cottage itself was great - very comfortable with everything you needed but the garden........whow. Fantastic space with so many sitting areas we could hardly keep up. "Mediterranean Terrace" for meals; under the cherry trees to read; loungers on the decking for sunbathing; hammock for whenever; swing seat for late afternoon. BBQ was well used but we didn't tackle the pizza oven! Lovely walks from the cottage and plenty of interesting places to visit if you can only drag yourself away from the garden (Villandry Chateau is highly recommended especially if you are into vegetables) and Chinon is a delightful town. Bikes are provided as were loads of games to keep you occupied - croquet, darts, table tennis, and boules. And of course there was the plunge pool. Even at a "normal" 27 degrees or so it would have been very welcome but with the temperature rising to 35 degrees over a couple of days it was a life-saver and a great pleasure. Thank you Nigel and Sandra for your hospitality - you made us very welcome and at the same time gave us the privacy and space we needed. Perfect hosts!

Niets op aan te merken. Zalige, rustige vakantie gehad in een mooi gezellig huisje op een prachtige locatie. Onze hondjes vonden de afgesloten grote tuin ook de max. En Nigel en Sandra zijn de beste vriendelijke eigenaars die we al gehad hebben, niets was hun teveel om onze vakantie top te maken.Wij komen zeker terug!

Es war für uns ein traumhafter Urlaub. Nigel und sandra haben uns herzlich empfangen. Ihr Anwesen ist schön. Wer die Ruhe und Natur sucht ist hier genau richtig. Man ist für sich,hat einen traumhaften Ausblick, einen kleinen Pool und viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Sicher ist immer irgendwas nicht so, wie man es selbst hätte aber dafür ist man zu Gast.Nigel war stets zur Stelle wenn etwas gebraucht oder geholfen werden musste. Wir haben uns jedenfalls sehr erholt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Un petit coin de paradis

Séjour très agréable dans un environnement extraordinaire.

L'environnement est magnifique, le cottage est très bien situé pour visiter les châteaux environnants. Il faut savoir, que sur l'annonce est indiqué 2 lits de 135/190, dans la chambre séparée, c'est un lit de 160 ce qui est plus agréable. Rien ne manque, à part d'ustensiles pour le barbecue et des éclairages pour pouvoir manger sur la terrasse le soir. Nous avons passés un séjour très agréable avec piscine, salon de jardin ( 2 ), des velos, table de ping-pong, le + c'est le jacuzzi. Nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir et merci au propriétaire de son accueil malgré notre heure tardive. Il faut découvrir cet endroit, le cottage est admirablement décoré avec goût. Merci encore. Rural retreat

We spent two weeks at this property as a family of three, and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Great garden, lovely property, with lots of charm and numerous seating areas to enjoy. It's in a lovely rural and peaceful area, with great views and so little light pollution that you get great night time views of the stars. The hosts, Nigel and Sandra were very friendly and helpful, and we spent a really enjoyable evening with them over some drinks and food - thanks again! The gite is ideal for two couples or in our case one teenage child, but anyone with young children might struggle with the bedrooms. It's worth mentioning that the newer one isn't linked internally with the rest of the gite. Definitely recommend!!
