Vores lejlighed er splinterny i en traditionel italiensk bygning. Det er stilfuldt, elegant og har den mest utrolige panoramaudsigt over søen fra dens 'to balkoner med omgivende store vinduer. Ja, du vil se de flydende moler fra balkonen eller mindre end 5 minutters gang til indgangen fra Sulzano. Der er to store soveværelser, et med en kingsize-seng og et med en queensize-seng. Stuen har en sofa, der trækker sig ud for at sove en meget behageligt. Der er et badeværelse og et ekstra toilet i vaskerummet. Badeværelset har regnbruser og stort afslappende boblebad. Det ligger få skridt væk fra søen og hovedbyen, der har en togstation, færge, købmand, apotek, slagter, frugtbutik, restauranter og barer. Så tæt på den største by er det sat tilbage og meget stille. Der er en parkeringsplads til rådighed. Kom og nyd vores moderne europæiske luksus i den smukke søside by Sulzano! Bare få km væk fra Franciacorta-området!

Perfect Holiday

Very friendly host, a really beautiful flat with nice view and everything you need - except the thermomix that ist shown on the pictures the Garage is tricky, for a big Suv it will be difficult. But for this flat i would also park 5 km away

Immaculate property in small town with beautiful views of the lake. Sulzano was very peaceful during our stay in early June - we swam in the lake each day, took the ferry to have dinner at Monte Isola and made use of the nearby train station to explore the wider area. The apartment is very high spec and you can tell it is loved by the owners and very well cared for by Mariangela. It made a wonderful base for a delightful short break. Grazie Mille!

Great stay in a lovely apartment

We enjoyed our stay in Sulzano. The apartment is wonderful, great attention to detail. Centrally located, 5 minutes to the station with options to go to Bergamo, Brescia and Milano. Public transport in Italy is expectionally good. Also in walking distance are restaurants, bars and the ferry to Monte Isola.

Italian Lake Views!😍

Lovely apartment with all the necessities and close to everything. We were there during the off season but enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. The bar on the lake down the hill was amazing and the restaurant up the hill was delicious. Highly recommend!

Wonderful modern apartment with amazing views

We had a wonderful week in this apartment. So much to explore and also a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the sunset over the lake. The town is cute and has all the necessities. Easy to take the ferry over to Monte Isola, which was lovely. Maria Angela was absolutely wonderful and her tour and check in in Italian was even understandable with no Italian!

Wonderful vacation rental in idyllic lake town

We loved this place. Spectacular view of the lake, super modern and hip interior design, very clean, very well equipped kitchen, awesome beds and linens, few blocks to the lake(which is gorgeous), super-responsive owners, great low-key town (non touristy) and best of all, the owners' mom who came to let us in and show us around. Only hesitation in writing this review is we want to come back and we don't want it to be booked!

Great location and apartment

It was a great stay even in early April. The apartment was super clean and very well equipped, especially with good gadgets. There is a Railway Station in a distance of about 150 m and the chance to ride around parts of the lake. A ferry is going to an island which is reached in 5 minutes.

Perfect!

The apartment was very modern with everything needed. Spotlessly clean, bright and had a beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. It's located in a perfect area close to ferries, train, beaches and restaurants. I would not hesitate to send anyone here.

Perfect Spot to Explore Lago Di Iseo

We were greeted by Bernard’s mom , who managed, with no English, to be able to explain the important info about the flat. She was so patient with us, knowing very little Italian, and trying to use Google translate. We chose Bernard’s flat in Sulzano knowing it was very central to things we wanted to do around Lago di Iseo. We walked to the ferry 2 days and then walked all over Monte Isola. We walked up to a fabulous restaurant 2 evenings that looked out over the lake. We also drove around the lake and spent 2 days exploring Iseo as well as went on a wine tour. Bernard’s home was so clean and comfortable, it seemed newly renovated, though I think mostly because it is so well maintained. We would definitely recommend the flat!

Wonderful modern apartment with fantastic views

What can I say, just wow. Roberto's apartment is just superb, great lake views and a well appointed balcony. Its a very clean and modern apartment with ample room for 4 people. Its a very short walk to the centre of the village and ferry station and the train station. The train is great for 'village hopping' around the lake. Also a short transfer from Burgamo Airport. We picked a hire car so we could get the the big supermarket and drive wround the lake on the twisty roads that hug the shore line. 25 mins from airport at most. Great communication from Roberto during our stay, which wad appreciated when I lost my bag and his mum is local also who is great. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Comfortable home with lovely views of the lake

The apartment is very comfortable although the bed was a bit soft for my back. There is a pleasant west facing balcony overlooking the lake, which does get a bit hot in the afternoon, but includes two curtains which can be pulled across to add shade and help cool it. Unlike previous reviewers we did find the trains to be a problem in the early morning when they generally woke us up (the first train comes through at 5.20am and then every 15-20 minutes thereafter), although we got used to them during the day and didn't really notice them. Sulzano is a charming town with good bars and restaurants and access to other parts of the lake by public boat. Good supermarkets can be found in Iseo about a 10 minute drive away. We spent most of our time hiking in the mountains around Sulzano and found plenty of tracks to keep us busy for 2 weeks. A very good hiking map is available from the Information Point in Sulzano for only 2 euros.

Fabulous apartment , views and situation

The apartment was immaculate and very modern. One tiny complaint- the plug in the basin in the bathroom did not work. But that was a very tiny tiny minus. The positioning of the apartment was very close to Sulzano centre where all the shops and bars and restaurants were. It was also very near the train station, and the ferry terminal, both giving opportunities for further travel. We went over to Monte Isola a few times, and went on a ferry taking us around the island. There were fabulous views. In fact you had a fabulous view from the apartment. The Tratatoria Cacciatore had great food and fabulous views and was easily walkable from the apartment. As were the bars at the lakeside. Everyone was very friendly and made us very welcome. At the station there was a water fountain which gave us cold natural water and cold sparkling water -for free. Iseo town itself was a lovely visit - we went by train. And we also went to Brescia by train - it was a lovely visit too. All in all a week is not long enough! And Lake Iseo ,being a smaller lake than Como etc made a much more quieter base for our visit. We loved it. Thank you Roberto and Jennifer , and of course Maria for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment. Roberto immediately replied to any question asked of him, and his mother Maria was very welcoming. We would recommend this apartment in Sulzano to everyone.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Sulzano sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist wirklich schön, sehr sauber und modern. Unschlagbar ist der Blick auf den See. Der Balkon war unser Lieblingsplatz, egal zu welcher Tageszeit. Sulzano ist ein kleiner Ort, der vom Tourismus noch kaum berührt ist, nur am Wochenende ist etwas mehr los. Die Züge fahren direkt hinter der Wohnung vorbei, was uns allerdings überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Check in und Check out liefen problemlos mit der bezaubernden Mariangela ab. Sie spricht zwar nur Italienisch, aber man konnte auch so alles verstehen, was sie erklären wollte. Sie ist auch flexibel auf unsere Zeitwünsche eingegangen. Wer einen entspannten Urlaub in einem malerischen Dorf an einem wirklich wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde in einer gut ausgestatteten Wohnung verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig!

Schönes Objekt aber!

Das Objekt an sich ist sehr schön und passend eingerichtet.Alles ist ziemlich neuwertig, das Bad mit Eck-Whirlpool und separater Walk-in Dusche ist super.Auch die Küche mit Kochinsel, Kühl-Gefrierkombination ist großzügig und mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet.Da wir nie gekocht haben und immer ins Restaurant gingen war das natürlich weniger wichtig.Was fehlt ist eine Kaffee oder vielleicht Kapselmaschine.Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und mit passenden Möbeln ausgestattet.Das Parken in der Garage ist eine echte Herausforderung, da die Einfahrt eng und extrem steil ist.Mit unserem SUV sollten wir rückwärts einparken, da aber noch ein Fahrzeug in der Garage steht, kommt man dann nicht mehr aus dem Fahrzeug. (Bild als Anlage)Wir haben dann vorwärts eingeparkt und es waren von und hinten noch 2 cm Platz.Die Parkplatzsituation ist dramatisch und extrem teuer, da man auch nur in den blauen Markierungen parken darf.Das Haus ist in einer engen Sackgasse und bei Gegenverkehr muss man komplett zurück setzten.Da wir jeden Tag unser Fahrzeug genutzt haben war es sehr anstrengen imm er in und aus der Garage zu fahren und nur mit Hilfe der Mitreisenden überhaupt möglich.Außerdem liegt das Haus 5 meter von der Bahnlinie und bei geöffneten Fenstern oder sitzen auf dem Balkon ist es schon nervig wenn jede 30 Minuten ein Zug kommt.Fazit: Die Wohnung ist schön und geräumig und gut wenn man ohne Auto anreist und Zuglärm akzeptiert.

schön mit Hindernissen

Die Wohnung hat einen tollen Rundumblick auf den See, wobei der jetzt auch linkerhand von einem Neubau/Kran verstellt wird. Toller Balkon/Blick. Check in auf italienisch. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber geputzt, roch aber tagelang penetrant nach Reinigungsmittel, in Clo/Kühlschrank/Kleiderschrank Duftkugeln. Man hatte den Eindruck, lieber nichts anzufassen. An der Heizng stand "do not touch", was ich nach Tagen aus Verzweiflung dann doch mit Erfolg tat, denn im Oktober ist es dort durchaus kühl. Wir waren mit dem Auto da und die Parksituation war eigentlich katastrophal, wir mussten rückwärts 5m tief steil in eine Garage herabsetzen, Abenteuer. Alles andere kostet. Viele Schlüssel, Tore. Wenn es dann noch regnet, wofür keiner was kann, kommt Frust auf.

We met eachother accidently after a wrong contact add on Skype many years back. At the time Roberto was in Singapore but living in Saudi Arabia, and Jenny was living in Los Angeles.

Roberto was planning his move back to Italy and looking everywhere for a place to call home. He grew up in Marone, which is two towns over, but since being a teenager has been away studying or working. This home was his Nonna Lucia's home and after searching all through the area he reluctlutly decided to purchase this property and make it his own.

This was the time that he met Jenny and after a few conversations via skype text decided to come to Los Angeles on a holiday to meet. At the time I was working as a hosptality manager while owning a modeling agency in LA.

We were engaged to be married 8 months after meeting one another, and married 10 months after that. At that time we had moved to Lenox, Massachuttes for Roberto's job for a year project.

We moved to Italy and lived in this, our first home, in Dec 2014 after finishing our nearly two year renovation. After living here for over a year we found out that we are headed back to California. As we head back to the Gold Coast we now have our Golden Retreiver "Lilly", and are expecting our son's arrival in June 2016.

We hope that this home brings you as much happiness in your stay that it has brought to us. We wish you a wonderful trip that is full of life's beautiful memories.

This property was in Roberto's family for his entire life. He was hesitant to purchase the property because he wanted something that really was "his." But after spending over a year looking for properties he realized that after a modern renovation this property really was everything that he was looking for regarding size, view and location. Although the intention of this house was to be Roberto's 'bachelor pad" after the purchase it quickly became changed gears as as renovation intended for a young new family.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The view from this property is incredible. The home is a mix of old world charm with very modern conviences. The exterior and hallways are filled with local marble that our grandmother picked out when she had a young family, and the interior of the home is all of the best of the modern local fixtures, materials and yes the same local marble from a new age.

The location has the best of small lake town and is close to the larger city Iseo filled with shops and restaurants. It is near beautiful Franciacorta where sparkling wine is produced, where the vines are as far as your eye can see with the beautiful mountains as the backdrop. Industrial larger city Brescia where the Mille Mile begins and ends is a very close 25 min drive away.
