Thank you for your kind words. Yes, our location is perfect for visiting many places in Normandy, Brittany and also Calvados! We are in a rural location ...... Sorry to say that there are no street lights on our smaller country roads. I will ensure in the future that the outside lights at the Barn are left on for late guest arrivals. Thank you. Suzanne

Good to hear you had a pleasant stay. I am sorry to hear you found the wet room bathrooms not practical, they do make showering easier for most people. Regarding the pillows, there are always extra pillows in the walk in wardrobes for your comfort, which of course you are free to use at any time.

True, we are not next to the coast, we advertise as being rural and in the countryside. Many beaches and sites are within an easy drive though for day visits. Thank you. Suzanne

Hi Sophie, Thank you for your review. Our location is something we are unable to change. We are more than happy that our rural location gives easy day trip access to many historical and natural sites of Normandy. Normandy is a very large area and no one place can be close to all the areas of interest from Mont St Michel, Bayeux to Giverny !! We are located so that even Paris is accessible (by train) for a day visit, as we have done ourselves. We have had many guests who have been more than happy with our location, as it offered them easy trips to many different places, including Hill 314., which is only 4 klm away, as are the beautiful waterfalls at Mortain. Maybe next time you could pick locations closer to the Barn to visit? Thank you. Suzanne
