Access to local amenities, the highway, and the beaches was very easy. The heated pool in April, combined with the sunshine, was an absolute delight

Great villa in a great location

We loved our stay, the check in process was seamless and Oscar was really helpful. The welcome food and drink was a lovely touch and the villa had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. A great pool, wonderful views, lovely interior, very clean, well equipped and a short taxi ride to both Frigliana and Nerja. We would definitely recommend this villa!

A Great Villa in a Great Location

This villa has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. It is in a quiet & peaceful location but Nerja & Frigliana are both just a short drive away, with countless shops & restaurants. The views from the villa are amazing, and the layout works well with access to the pool & huge sun terrace from all bedrooms. It is fully equipped for your stay and there is a useful welcome pack on arrival. Our 2nd visit and it won’t be our last!

Great villa in an ideal location

We had a fantastic 10 day stay at the villa which is very conveniently located a short drive from both Frigliana and Nerja on a small estate. The villa is modern and spacious with aircon/ heat, traditional BBQ and a lovely pool which you can pay extra to heat in winter. It is not really suitable for infants, although we managed by barricading the staircase indoors and off the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay and would return again

Lovely villa in a great location - July 2022

This was our fourth visit to Frigiliana and our first stay at Las Lomas. Conveniently located midway between Nerja and Frigiliana, the villa is situated in a quiet location with other similar properties. It is large and well equipped, with stunning views of the mountains and sea. The booking process was easy and Ian was very responsive. Similarly, the check-in process was seamless, Oscar met us on arrival and provided lots of local information. Highly recommended!

Great house!

Wonderful holiday house with fantastic wiews of mountains and sea. Everything you need is provided for in the house and the housemanager had left a much appreciated welcomepack with grocerys for breakfast and a lot of fresh fruit! We payed to have the pool heated and it was warm enough to swim and play. Location is great for daytrips, but we stayed mostly in Nerja wich is just a few minutes drive, and we got Oscars expert tips on parking in Nerja and parked for free all week. A great house for a holiday!

Wonderful!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Las Lomas. The property provides everything required for the perfect holiday and the view from the property is lovely. Nestled in between Nerja and Frigiliana, we were spoiled for options when dining out. We love this area as there is so much to do and see and to date, this has been the most impressive villa we have stopped at. We hope to return! Ian and Oscar provided lots of information ahead and during our stay, it has been a pleasure. Thank you.

Great Villa with Great Views

A very well equipped and comfortable villa which caters for your every need and a welcome pack was also provided on arrival. Communication with owner was easy and efficient and Oscar checked a few times to make sure everything was ok and we did not have any issues during our stay. The pool area gets the sun all day and has amazing views. The pool is clean and well maintained - we paid extra to have it heated which was great. An easy drive into Nerja or Frigliana for shopping and restaurants. A great villa in a great location - we would definitely recommend it.

Excellent location and great care from both owner and maintenance during our stay

Great location- 2 miles up mountain to Frigiliana and 2 miles down to Nerja. Villa is well stocked and we had the pool heated at additional cost which was a wonderful treat. Literally like a bath by the end of the week. Oscar, who met us at the property is so helpful and polite. The house is in an estate which provides a neighbourhood feel but is quiet. A really great stay. Thank you.

Very Lovely Villa

This Beautiful villa was extremely clean and well maintained. We were very impressed with the thoughtful welcome pack and all the essentials being provided. The views from the terrace are stunning, looking towards the mountains and the sea and it was very tranquil. The villa is spacious and light and all three bedrooms lead out to the pool and there is a lovely outdoor eating area upstairs overlooking the pool. All communications with the owner were prompt and extremely helpful, all questions answered readily and a fact filled email prior to our departure was also very helpful. Oscar, the manager of the property is lovely...friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. All in all....highly recommended and i would happily return, only next time with a car! (which the owner did recommend)

Fantastic Family Holiday

We are a family of 4 adults and a 15 yr old and had a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. Everything from our arrival and welcome by Oscar to our departure was perfect. The villa is very well appointed with everything you need and lots more space than we expected. The outside space and pool area is great and we spent lots of lovely lazy hours enjoying the sunshine, beautiful views and peace and quiet. Nerja and Frigiliana are close by we walked to Frigiliana most evenings and found it delightful with lots of lovely restaurants. Nerja is a drive away (there is a great bus service) where there are great beaches, lots of shops, bars and restaurants and supermarkets. It has a lovely atmosphere and we would definitely visit again. Las Lomas gave us a great base, Oscar was brilliant and Ians information sent in advance was really helpful. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough we had a wonderful holiday.

Wonderful villa with amazing views!

Not even the pictures do justice to this beautiful large villa. We travelled as a family of 5 and the property was perfect for us, very clean, light and spacious. The notes forwarded by Ian were very useful and a nice touch. The welcome pack and meeting the local manager Oscar made for a great start to a relaxing break. The villa is located in a very peaceful area with stunning views of both the sea and the mountains and is only a short distance from Frigiliana and Nerja. The villa is very well equipped with a lovely pool area and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Will definitely be back.

Grandiose Aussicht in guter Lage

Wir haben unsere 2 Wochen in diesem Haus genossen. Die Lage war optimal um die Provinz Malaga zu erkunden. Die Lage ist sehr schön, nahe an Frigilliana und wenn man Trubel mag ist Nerja nicht weit . Ganz großes Lob an Oscar, eine tolle Einweisung mit sehr viel Geduld. Bei Problemen und Fragen hilft er sofort. Die Speisen und Getränke zum Willkommen waren schon klasse. Vielen Dank an Oscar. Rechtzeitig vor der Anreise gab es Infomaterial von Ian. So macht mieten Spaß. Die Villa ist schöner als auf den Bildern. Dank an allen Beteiligten

Las Lomas, Frigiliana

We spent a lovely Easter week in first class accommodation at Las Lomas. The property was exactly as the photographs and reviews suggested, and the information pack from Ian prior to arrival could not have been more helpful. On arrival, we were greeted by Oscar who showed us around the impeccably equipped villa and gave us information about the area to add to Ian's excellent notes. The neighbouring village of Frigiliana was delightful, with Nerja only a short drive away for all supermarket essentials. This was a wonderful relaxing break in a quiet area with lovely views from a fabulous villa. We will be back!

A wonderful property, beautifully situated

This is a wonderful property, beautifully situated between the mountains and the coast. The views in all directions are simply stunning! The villa is large and spacious, full of light and has an airy quality which we loved. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and is well maintained. It is equipped with everything you might need for a holiday in this beautiful area of Spain. Oscar, the Property Manager is extremely helpful and welcoming. Ian the Owner is also extremely helpful, particularly as we had booked the villa this time last year but had to cancel due to illness - we couldn't wait to re-book with him and again the booking process was handled in a professional but friendly manner - thank you Ian! We will certainly be recommending this property to friends and relatives and look forward to visiting again ourselves in the future.

I would highly recommend this lovey villa.

I can't recommend this lovely villa enough. The whole experience was 1st class from start to finish. Ian the owner communicates well prior to your departure and sends brilliant notes to help you get the most out of your stay. The villa was perfect for us. It was clean and stocked with a lovely food welcome pack which was greatly received as we arrived very late. The pool kept the kids amused and the view was lovely. Situated between our two favourite places, Frigliana & Nerja it couldn't have been better. The icing on the cake was Oscar the villa manager. A lovely man and extremely helpful. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Lovely Villa

Casa Lomas is a lovely very well maintained villa in a very quiet area between Nerja and Frigillana.We visited in August a family of 5 (children aged 11,15,21), there is lots of space around and various seating / terrace areas should you want a little quiet time. The BBQ was so useful too, sitting on the top terrace with a glass of wine watching the sun set was very special. The villa is exactly as described , very clean and Oscar the property manager speaks excellent English and is very helpful, we had a couple of very minor issues that were resolved very quickly . The provisions left for us in the villa was a lovely and most welcome surprise on arrival. Ian the owner replied very promptly to all queries and sent some excellent information through regarding restaurants, directions from airport,local beaches which was very helpful. A car is essential to make the most of the lovely area, we visited local markets , beaches ,Granada , Frigillana is very special and well worth a visit it too! There are several stairs internally and externally so worth bearing in mind for anyone with mobility issues. My only suggestion would be a few more mugs and glasses available but this is so minor when everything else was so good. Thank you for helping to make our summer holiday so relaxed and I would most definitely recommend to all Casa Lomas ,you most definitely won't be disappointed.

Wonderful, comfortable villa

Casa Las Lomas is a very comfortable, spacious, well-equipped villa with wonderful views. It was well maintained and clean and was as described. The property owner sent us lots of information, before the trip, about how to find the villa and local restaurants which was very helpful. Oscar, the manager, was extremely helpful with local information also, and gave the impression that nothing would have been too much trouble.

A little slice of heaven!

**Firstly let me declare that my wife and I are friends of the owners but that should not put you off reading this honest review** Tracy and I stayed here for a week. We had stayed here with our friends in the past but this was our 28th anniversary week so we decided just the two of us would be nice. The villa is not difficult to find but a daytime arrival might make it a tad easier. A hire car is pretty essential. Oscar takes care of the property for Ian and he is 'fantastico' He will meet you at the villa and run through everything and will be available during your stay to attend to any issues. Recep/Kitch on first floor spacious, light and airy. Bedrooms all open straight onto the huge terrace/enticing non heated pool via sliding doors. (If you have babes/young kids/ non swimmers be aware!) There is also an upper terrace accessed from the reception with table/chairs so ideal for al fresco dining. A built in BBQ is also located here. An external staircase takes you down to the pool. Superb views of sea and mountains make for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Bedrooms (one with en suite bathroom) have fitted wardrobes and heaps of hanging space. Storing undies and socks more of a challenge! There is a safe in one of the bedrooms akin to a hotels where you set your own access code - great feature. A washing machine and airer should you need are under the stairs. Hand and bath towels are supplied but take your own pool/beach towels. The location of the villa can best be described as twixt Nerja and the very pretty white washed hillside village Frigiliana where we spent most of our evenings walking and dining. (I have posted a number of restaurant recommendations on trip advisor). On the way down to Nerja is a Lidl, ideal for your food and drink supplies..and cheap! Nerja is quite a busy area with a lovely beach and some excellent dining establishments. Nerja is popular with the Brits but its quite refined and low key. Note if you are looking for buzzy nightlife/nightclubs best turn right out of Malaga airport and head to Marbella but if you are looking for a more relaxing, more Spanish affair renting this well placed and very comfortable villa could be a great bet. Friend and villa owner is Ian who really cares that you have a good time and will do whatever he can to make your stay very enjoyable. He also knows that the villa 'let' is better than empty so you might find him accommodating in that regard. Go, have fun and chill out!

Thanks for a great review Gary. Oscar is already talking to a carpenter & arranging to put a shelf at the bottom of each wardrobe so small items - t-shirts/shorts & undies can be stored easily.

My wife & I have owned Casa Las Lomas for more than 9 years & we enjoy visiting several times a year with our 2 daughters.
We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do from the pool which is just a few footsteps away from the bedrooms to the tranquil sunny patio & terrace with the spectacular views of the coastline.
There is a 4th bedroom with an en-suite shower room so we are able to go away with another family.

Minutes from the beach and yet close to the charming white washed village of Frigiliana, Casa Las Lomas faces out towards the countryside with the mediterranean in view. We can accommodate up to 7 people with space in our private pool and on the various terraces.

This property has space which extends from the large lounge & dining area across several terraces facing the sea.

Dine outside on the terrace or have breakfast outside your bedroom door next to the pool. Ideal for lazy days or nights around the BBQ or by the swimming pool. This property has the charm and comfort of a much loved holiday home.
