Charmerende, renoveret lejlighed er en del af en gammel kaptajn hjem bygget i midten af 1800-tallet og ligger på 2 tønder lige på US 1. Det har en privat indgang og indeholder en privat terrasse med picnic bord og grill. Lejligheden har en stue med fladskærms-tv, stort badeværelse med badekar / bruser kombination, dronning størrelse soveværelse, fuldt udstyret spisekøkken med nye apparater, herunder mikrobølgeovn og Keurig kaffe / te maskine. Soveværelse og bad sengetøj er inkluderet. Wifi tilgængelige i hele. Privat parkering uden ekstra omkostninger.

Your hosts - Rick, Sabrina and Violet - love welcoming guests to this beautiful stretch of the Maine Coast! Previous owners of the Yardarm Motel in Searsport, our family recently purchased this property and are working to make it our own. We are all lovers of the arts, travel, and animals. You'll meet our friendly chickens and goats on the property and maybe our dog, Nya. Rick runs a fine art print studio (soon to be located on the property) and is happy to provide tips on great places to paint or photograph along the coast! Violet will be entering 8th grade at Searsport District Middle and High School in the fall and Sabrina teaches in the Honors College at the University of Maine. From fresh seafood at Young's Lobster Pound in Belfast to the delightful restaurats in Searsport, there's always a delicious meal to enjoy. The weekly farmers' markets in Belfast (Friday and Saturday) are a must-visit, showcasing the best of local produce and artisanal goods.
The rich history of the region is also captivating, with Searsport's Penobscot Marine Museum telling the story of Maine's maritime heritage. Staying here, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the fascinating past while being part of a vibrant, modern community.
We love the easy access to outdoor adventures, from hiking in the nearby state parks to exploring the many coastal islands. We try to keep our rates low, while providing a great home base for your time exploring Midcoast Maine. We are locals - not absentee landlords. Our housekeeper is the mom of our daughter's best friend. Rick runs a business in the community; Sabrina serves on the school board. If you want to truly support the local economy while also enjoying a great value stay in a fabulous location - we should be your top choice!
