Penn Cottage er et charmerende, tidligere fiskerhus fra det 19. århundrede i en stille gade i hjertet af Salcombe med fantastisk udsigt over flodmundingen fra soveværelset. Det sover op til 4 personer i to soveværelser med dobbeltsenge (det andet soveværelse har også køjesenge) - ideel til en familie eller to par. Åben plan stue og køkken / spiseplads; eget brusebad og separat familiebadeværelse. Sommerhuset har sin egen gårdhave med grill, bord og stole og direkte adgang til Victoria Quay.

Just perfect

What can I say except perfect. From the initial communication through to great contact as our booking approached we knew this was going to be good. On entering the property and finding a welcome card & bottle of wine we quickly found a charming and well equipped rental. Based across 3 floors the bedrooms are at the top with a balcony & table and chairs off the main bedroom with stunning views across the estuary. The mid level also has a balcony and this is the well equipped kitchen a sitting area. Downstairs is the main bathroom with washing machine and tumble dryer and off here is a courtyard with patio chairs etc. This is also a great safe space for storing wetsuits and paddle boards etc. The house has plenty of equipment and a full kitchen etc so we didn’t miss anything loads of information also. Perfectly located for Island St and the centre of Salcombe without being bothered by any noise (except seagulls but that’s just Salcombe!!) We will definitely book again and would highly recommend Thanks Philip & Sarah for a lovely stay.

Superb cottage in centre of Salcombe

Immaculate cottage with wonderful views from top balcony over the water. Very comfortable with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Outside seating area also good for us and our dog. 2 minutes from Fore Street. Good to be able to use the parking facility 7 mins away.Would love to teturn.

The best view

Waking up every morning a seeing that view over the harbour over to east portlemouth is the best thing about the property. It’s a comfortable little place with enough room for a family of four or even five. Also having a parking space on Coronation Road is handy and secure.

Very nice cottage

A lovely cottage in a great location!! Close to pubs and shops. It was clean and nicely decorated. So relaxing watching the sun go down on the bedroom Balcony. Would stay here again!!!

November weekend in Salcombe

Penn Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It is finished to a high standard, makes great use of the available space and has a delightful seaside/beach hut feel about it. It is located very near the town centre. We will visit again!

Perfect little bolthole

We absolutely love staying at pretty Penn Cottage. The owners have created a picture perfect holiday home right in the heart of Salcombe. Moments away from Fore Street where you’ll find fabulous places to eat and shops to browse. The views from the bedroom balcony are heavenly and we loved to sit enjoying our morning coffee taking in the sights and sounds from the estuary. The cottage is beautifully finished and has everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Lovely Cottage in a perfect location

We had a lovely weekend stay at Penn Cottage, its in a perfect location right in the centre of Salcombe, just moments from the shops and restaurants. It's a very cosy well equipped Cottage with amazing views from the main bedroom. Philip the owner was the perfect host, very helpful and even organised parking for us. Looking forward to another stay there soon.

Warm Cottage in a magic place!

Very good cottage and plenty space available for 5/6. The place makes you feeling that nothing is missing as every details has been well looked after. Just a minute walk to all the shops needed and restaurants is another great addition.

A beautiful cottage with views of the harbour. Just perfect!

Penn cottage is right in the centre of Salcombe with wonderful views of the sea. All the local shops and amenities are just around the corner! There are great walks along the coast just minutes from the cottage together with great pubs and restaurants. A lovely well furnished cottage for a holiday in Salcombe.We could not ask for more!!

Beautiful cottage in beautiful location

Everything about our stay was fantastic: Philip the owner is the perfect host, from beginning to end. The cottage is delightful, equipped with everything you could possibly want/need, with the most magnificent views, and so centrally located in Salcombe that walking down to the shops takes a few minutes, and yet it's so quiet. We will most definitely be booking again.

sunny salcombe stay !!

Can not fault our stay in penn cottage .Phillip was so helpful from first enquiry to final text to make sure our stay had been enjoyable . Everything about the cottage has been spot on -- welcome hand written card , log fire ,location ,view from bedroom balcony ( many glasses of prosseco and g and t s were drank !) Cleaned to my very high standards .Lovely decor throughout. Did not want to leave . Thankyou so much for letting us stay . Would highly recommend for a very chilled out break

Comfortable cottage in a great location

Tucked away in a small street behind the popular Fortescue pub, Penn Cottage offers a great location, with superb views across the harbour from the main bedroom's balcony. Well appointed and well managed, it's perfect for a relaxing getaway, with easy access to Salcombe's facilities. Can't recommend too highly.

Excellent!

This is a really good holiday let! Well appointed and maintained, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, dog-friendly and a super location in Salcombe. The view of the estuary from the main-bedroom balcony is as good as any in the town. Booking was straight-forwards. The owner, Philip, is very well organised and friendly and all the information you need for your holiday arrives in good time. It has 'the feel' that your staying at the cottage of a friend or family member, rather than a holiday rental. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this property to anybody.

An excellent standard of accomodation and so close to the buzz of Salcombe!

Fantastic!

A great property & wonderful owners. Fantastic central location but off the busy main Street. So homely and such nice touches for example all the supplies of basics, which are a pain taking / buying on holiday, like dishwasher tablets / washing powder / tea bags to the parking permit. Philip was so helpful from our first enquiry right throughout our stay. We are looking to rebook for next year already.

This is THE place to stay in Salcombe -great views

Fantastic location, and worth it for the view from the master bedroom with stunning views over the water-Great attention to detail and very attentive owners made this holiday a real treat.So much choice for eating out and the real bonus of not having to use the car for a week!! Stunning

Penn Cottage was an absolute joy to stay in. It's immaculately well presented, perfectly located and has the most breathtaking views of the estuary. Philip was brilliant from the moment I booked and all the way through the process. There really couldn't have been anything else that we could have asked for. The perfect stay

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Penn Cottage. It is beautiful well appointed cottage, great location and the views from the master bedroom are amazing. We enjoyed the suggested walks with our dogs and the maps in the cottage were a great help! The wine & card on arrival was an unexpected treat! Looking forward to coming back next year

Idyllic Cottage

Penn Cottage is so cosy, homely and is beautifully decorated to the highest standard with everything you could possibly need for a self-catering holiday. The beds and bedding so comfortable we slept really well. Easy walking distance to lovely pubs/restaurants nearby and amazing views of the harbour from our bedroom balcony. Philip the owner really helpful and a delight to deal with. Highly recommend.

When we found Penn Cottage it was love at first sight. It is a delightful cottage in a central quiet location. We have furnished it to a high standard to make a welcoming home from home.

Salcombe is a special place, in and out of season. It is big enough to offer a lot of activities and variety shops, pubs and restaurants, yet small enough to be friendly. The estuary is a fabulous 'play area' for adults and children alike - with beaches, boating, sailing, walking, day trips and more.
