Cute flat in great location

This was a perfect place for two of us, but you could easily fit up to four people. Quaint place with everything you need and in a great location. Sandwich is a great small town with some great pubs and restaurants.

Fantastic stay

Brilliant stay, comfortable, clean, warm. Central location in beautiful, historic town. Lovely walk along White Cliffs of Dover and lunch and rockpooling in St Margaret’s. Great take aways in Sandwich.

Great location

A lovely cottage in a perfect location. I have stayed in Sandwich several times & love it. First time I’ve stayed at 12 Vicarage Lane & I’m sure I’ll stay again. Exactly how the pictures show it. Nice decor. Everything you need here for a break in a lovely part of Kent. I arrived early so parked my car in nearby car park and went into the Kings Arms garden. I hadn’t been there too long when Claire (cottage owner) messaged me to say the cottage was ready, which was very convenient as I could unpack & enjoy a nice Gin & Tonic back in the pub’s garden. Very pleased with the cottage & would recommend to small families or couples. Situated a few minutes walk to many shops bars & restaurants. It was the Folk & Ale Festival while we were there so the area was very busy, but the cottage was in a lovely quiet location. No problems with parking in the car park either. Only £4 for 24 hours.

Perfect terraced home for few nights away

We really enjoyed staying here with our 2 kids (age 4 & 5). Was cosy and well equipped. Very close to centre of old Sandwich. We parked easily in car park couple of mins walk away. Easy enough to stop outside the property to unload, drop me off with the kids. WiFi worked well. Perfect base for exploring the local area.

Beautifully clean and comfortable

This is our second time in this cottage and we would highly recommend it. There is a well equipped kitchen, nice lounge and dining room, great bathroom with both bath and a very good shower and the beds are really comfortable. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the bedding immaculate. It is very quiet at night and you get a really good night's sleep. If I was in the area again I would definitely try and book this cottage.

mooie cottage in een schitterend dorp

Geweldig huisje in het schitterende Sandwich. Het huisje is goed ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken. Sandwich is een mooi historisch dorp met voldoende restaurants op loopafstand. Hetzelfde geldt voor de Coop en Spar. Het huisje is ideaal om als uitvalsbasis te gebruiken voor de diverse bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving.

Schönes Cottage, sehr harmonisch und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Ein schönes Cottage, sehr harmonisch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Check-In und Abreise war sehr unkompliziert. Im Haus ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Die Straße ist sehr ruhig und nah zu einem der drei großen Parkplätze. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt!

Nice and comfortable

A perfect place to stay! We liked the cosy living room and dining room. Good beds and nice bathroom. The cottages is a good place to start trips to the sea (Margate!) and historical places (Canterbury!)

We'll be back!

A wonderful cottage in a charming town! Located in the heart of Sandwich just a stones throw from lots of great pubs and delightful eateries, we couldn't have asked for more. The cottage was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and really cosy. Great walks on the doorstep and plenty to keep us busy. We will be back soon and hope to stay for longer next time. Thanks to Claire for a wonderful weekend, all the best!

Very convenient for our purposes i.e. nearness to my son's family in Ash

The cottage was excellently appointed and had everything we could have wished for. Proximity to rail transport and supemarket was very helpful. Thank you Claire. We look forward to staying again.

Beautiful little cottage with a lot of personal touches

We stayed in this beautiful little cottage ( although bigger than expected) over the new year. It was clean, well equipped and had lots of items out for us to use that I had taken and thankfully didn't need to unpack. I would highly recommend staying here the area is stunning and it's a little home from home xx

Great, nicely designed.

Fantastic little cottage, perfect for our small family. Claire has done a fabulous job on the interior and it just feels like a really nice place to be, there were even childrens toys and books to kept them entertained while tea was cooking. Great location, Sandwich is lovely, so much to do here. Really close to beautiful beaches, seaside towns and lots of historical sites and properties. We only had a week which was no way near long enough to see it all - we'll have to visit again. There are also lots of local farms with PYO and farm shops so it's easy to get really fresh local food (we were here in August). All in all a great week in a great house in a great area.

Beautiful little cottage

We had a lovely week's holiday in this beautiful little cottage. The first thing that strikes you is how clean everywhere is and the kitchen was spotless. The owner left jars of tea, coffee, milk in the fridge and even a bottle of wine. Just what you want to find when you have had a long journey. The beds were so comfy and we didn't hear a sound at night. The best sleep we have had on any holiday. The location was brilliant, so close to the centre of Sandwich and a lovely little scenic walk to the supermarket if you wanted groceries. There are great eating places within easy reach and a lovely little café serving a great breakfast very close at hand. I have no hesitation in recommending this property for your holiday and the owner is so friendly and helpful.

A really well located, beautiful little bolt hole

What a brilliant lovely cottage in a perfect Sandwich cobbled street. We had no problems parking and it was so well located for amenities, parks, walks and more. There were plenty of books for the children and adults and we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you!
