Hi Michael, Thanks for your review. Apologies the tv wouldn’t pick up the free to air channels it normally does and was doing the week before. The problem was reported on Friday 19th and has now been fixed today, Tuesday 24th. The 21st and 22nd were weekend days and the only engineers from the shop in the Port don’t work weekends and unfortunately they had other commitments yesterday. We did as much as we could in the timescales and are glad that our apartment was perfect for your stay other than this. We are now suggesting that as our apartment has wifi, people take a Firestick with them to ensure they can access the English stations they wish to watch and are looking into putting one in ourselves when we next visit.

Adriana, I am very sorry that the fact our apartment didn't have wifi, napkins, nor salt or pepper or a hairdryer disappointed you. I genuinely pride myself on being 100% honest in my description of our family apartment and many guests return year upon year, hence our reviews - none of which has ever suggested I have mis-advertised. Our apartment is our family 'home from home' and It saddens me that you have chosen to be quite so scathing, when I responded immediately and considerately to your questions, which to be honest, could have all been answered had you read the description before booking. Hopefully, my honest and open response to your comments shows how much I care and do try to help guests with any requests. Not wanting to seem churlish, but I feel I have to mention to give a completely rounded view....when you had an 'issue' with the hot water, I arranged someone to go and check it within an hour. We are blessed by the fact that Carmen, who looks after our apartment actually lives next door hence the speed of response - and she confirmed that there was no fault and the water running from the shower was in fact hot once she turned the handle to hot. Our advert clearly states what towels are provided (bar beach towels). The towels in the apartment were all replaced in August this year whilst my family visited., so I am not sure what more I can do in this regard. As for 'demands'. Please could you empty the bin upon leaving and please check in and vacate by a certain time....are these really worthy of such a review or even that unusual? Many other guests have commented on how accommodating I have been with check in and out times when they have asked for a change. I do take on board your comment re a welcome pack and this is something we will certainly look into, so thank you for that constructive feedback. I also take on board your curt message to me, suggesting that we advertise our apartment 'without wifi' - I have spoken to VRBO and unfortunately they do not allow advertising what is not included with a property. May I politely suggest that if 'wifi'' is imperative for your work, that you add wifi and maybe a hairdryer to your future search criteria as this will ensure your expectations are managed as well as save other honest renters from wrongly adverse feedback.
