Fantastisk udsigt over stranden og bugten fra denne strand. Huset har 2400 kvadratmeter lavere festdæk for at slappe af og nyde udsigten med en leg og i skyggen. Nyd både solopgang og solnedgang fra dette hjem beliggende i en roligere del af stranden. Bekvemt beliggende til Rollover Pass og Fantasea BBQ. Har soveværelse og badeværelse med handicapvenligt. 3 soveværelser plus rummelig hems / 2 badeværelser og udendørs bruser. Loftet har traditionelle trapper og har 5 enkeltsenge - fantastisk sted for børnene at sove og hænge ud. Kæledyr er velkomne mod gebyr. Great House

Everything was as described. Plenty of room to hang out and the closeness of the beach was worth every bit.

Perfect Location!

We really enjoyed our stay here! There is a whole second deck I wish we were prepared to use. The kids enjoyed the loft space upstairs. You cannot beat the beach access and location. We were able to grab food, get souvenirs and hit the candy shop all within a quick drive. Not a modern vibe, very homey and dated but we didn't mind that. If you want to be right at the beach for a good value, this is a great option.

Beautiful views, dirty house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and views for this rental are amazing. They have the most unbelievable views, and the staff at Swedes was great as always. The owner double booked so that was awkward when a family showed up and told us we needed to leave. Swedes handled everything though. I was a little nervous knowing that other people had the key to a house we were staying in for days though. The house needs a very deep cleaning. My grandson was covered in white hairs the entire trip. The furniture feels dirty, in fact my son broke out in hives when he sat on it. The footstools are hard to open and then will just pop open unexpectedly too. We covered all of the furniture with sheets so we could sit on them, the white sheets came up brown when uncovering them.The flooring is borderline dangerous for baby’s/toddlers because there are big gaps in it.The vacuum does not hardly work, and the air vents drip water onto the couch. The house needs a major update.I really loved the location and just wish the house didn’t feel so dirty. When you spend the kind of money you spend on these rentals you expect a clean house and floors that are not separating at the very least. Do not rent if you have a young child or you need a comfortable bed to sleep. All beds are extremely uncomfortable. There are also mouse traps under the beds and we found mouse poop on the stair to the loft.Also if you want deck gates don’t rent this place. Even though the pictures show them the top one does not latch and the second deck does not have one at all. I will not rent this house ever again, sucks since the location and views are so great. I really feel I deserve a partial refund for this house because it was not worth what we paid at all since you could not relax inside.

Reviewer Comments: We visit the peninsula 3-5 times a year.. we have stayed in several beach houses on the beach and on the Bay.. the location and the views of Bonita Vista were magnificent!! Literally 10 feet from the beach!! The home does need some serious TLC.. a deep clean, there was a strong smell of mold in the master bedroom.. we could not use it.. but overall we were happy and would stay again.

Complete Mix Up

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our beach house rental was mistakenly given to another family. We had 2 options, cancel our rental or stay at theirs. Management could have cared less, maintenance guy was frantically trying to sort out mix up. At check out I explained AGAIN what happened and I was promised a call from management.... still waiting.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was pretty dirty when we arrived. Pet hair on the furniture. Swede's did send someone out to clean the pet hair. But there was also pet food on the floors, dead roaches, cigarette ashes in one of the rooms, live roaches crawling on the walls, and mold upstairs. And also the coffee maker was dirty and rusted. And they had flooring piled up by the front door. But it was a beautiful view. Will not be staying there again.

The beach was never too crowded and the deck under Bonita Vista is amazing!!! The only complaint was that the home has carpet. Thank you Swede’s for a great vacation!

Great time at Bonita Vista

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location, right in front of the beach. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the refrigerator was not cold at all and needs to be replaced and the ac struggles to get cold. It took a long time to cool down. I set it at 73 and stayed at 77 until 3am did it get to 73. I know because I couldn't sleep it was to hot. It also has a lot of clutter, things little ones get into. We enjoyed our time there as a family but will not be renting this cabin again. I don't usually write reviews but people need to be aware especially because it cost me a bit of money to rent it.

Neglected!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this house before, but this will be the last time. The house is very neglected. It has several loose boards on the steps. The AC is bi-polar. The kitchen is poorly stocked with pots and pans, mixing bowls, etc. The coffee pot, well lets just say it needs to be retired or buried. We went to our RV down the road and brought our own for the weekend. The grass wasn't mowed before we arrived, good thing we had teenagers and not small children. The driveway has a large washout. Overall, it's a one start rating at best.

Excellent location

The listing was 100% accurate. Positives - great beach location and absolutely loved the decks. The house was solid / cared for and everything worked. Negatives - I felt it could have been cleaned a little better - crumbs on the kitchen chairs, etc. especially with COVID. I also believe all comforters and pillows should be replaced and/or washed between guests - again especially with COVID. I sani-wiped every single surface down anyway. Had a slight smoke smell but it wasn't unbearable. Dishes are not in good shape as far as cookware so you might want to bring your own. There was old trash washed up under the house and in the yard from the hurricane. Would've been nice if this had been picked up prior to our arrival - we picked up as much as we could. Overall though, a great trip and we would stay again. Note to renters in the area - Please do not leave trash on the beaches! I spent 3 mornings picking up trash from the night before - diapers, beer bottles, water bottles. Signs should be put in place along the beach as a reminder to people "Don't Mess with Texas! Pick up your trash!" Or start fining people large sums of money. Just a suggestion.

This house and location is awesome. You are right on the beach.

It was so easy to rent and turn in the keys to this property. The stay was very good. Clean house and the beach is at your door.

Spacious Beach Front view

This beachfront house was the last minute weekend getaway for our family. 3 Bd (with an additional loft of 5 twins) 2Bath was able to give us plenty of space for adults and teens. It was nice to walk directly to beach for wading, fishing, etc. and back to the house for meals,etc. The beach was not overly crowded and the house did not have immediate neighboring houses so we had a little space compared to other places we’ve stayed at Bolivar. We did pay the extra fee for sheets and towels provided by a service. This place is also pet friendly so we were able to bring our 2 small dogs.

Perfect weekend getaway

We loved having everyone in the same house for the weekend, the loft area for the teenagers was perfect. The refrigerator needs to be replaced, but other than that, everything else was great. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Excellent location if you just want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of Crystal beach

Excellent location and very nice house. without the tons of traffic that comes w/ staying a few miles down the road at crystal beach. we stayed during spring break and had no issues w/ rowdiness or traffic congestion on the beach.. the Loft is excellent for teens/kids to hang out during down time. place was clean and well maintained. the Microwave did go down the last few days we were there.. but we lived ( LOL ) It would be nice if the renters had access to the Lift which is locked up. but that is the only negative.. not enough to deduct a star.

Great because the closeness and view of the beach, however it was not very clean.

We loved our stay at this beachouse because of its location. However, if you are paying someone to clean it, You aren't getting your money's worth. . There is mold in the laundry area and bathroom shower curtain. Dirt is inches thick under recliners and burners on stove are dirty. More chairs are needed for the deck. Most are broken. Also there is a broken table on the deck. We did enjoy our stay and would stay here again, but just wanted you to know that some things needed to be updated.
