We were a group of 10 adults touring around the County, and the Cottage was an absolute dream. The location is spectaular, with the most incredible sunsets! The Cottage was beautiful, and the hosts were very responsive whenever necessary. Looking forward to our next visit!

a great spot for a few couples or good sized family to enjoy a weekend. The region offers great summer and fall activities. Owner was very good, communicative and the process was smooth. Games rooms were fantastic. A great choice overall.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lake house! The property is incredibly spacious, beautifully maintained, and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It genuinely felt like a home away from home because the hosts have thought of everything—the house is fully stocked with all the essentials you could possibly need.There was so much to keep us entertained right on the property. The kids were obsessed with the pinball machine and pool table indoors, and we all had a blast taking the water floats out on the lake during the day. When it was time to wind down, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep.You also cannot beat this location. Being right next door to Sandbanks Provincial Park made beach days incredibly easy, and we loved how close we were to the heart of Prince Edward County's wine country. Greg and Bill were excellent hosts. Highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and effortless family vacation in PEC!

My family and I have vacationed in PEC since covid. We always enjoyed coming and knew we would come back every year. We were looking for a house that we could feel we'd want to come back to time and time again. We were looking for kid-friendly, on the water, near Sandbanks, and a family friendly home that had the supplies we needed. And this was exactly that. Both Greg and Bill were wonderful and so easy to communicate with. If we had any issues (they were minimal) Bill was there for us. The home had the perfect amount of space for my family and everyone wishes to come back near year. If you're looking for a week to hang out with your family on the water, play some games, and then at the end of the day, everyone gets their own space to sleep in, this is the one.

This was the most pleasant rental experience I have ever had. By the end of the weekend, I felt like I was staying at a friend's place...not the home of a person I had never met. Greg and his, 'man on the ground', Bill were incredibly attentive and helpful. The house was equipped with every item you could ever need. When I looked for a rolling pin, I found 5; when I looked for a measuring cup, there were 3...and so on.There was a magnificent JURA espresso/coffee machine which was even nicer than the one I had at home. I was going to bring mine...because I am addicted. But no need! Greg had one, as well as my high-falutin milk foamer. Honestly. He was one step ahead of me on every detail.We were happily settled in and playing on the pinball machines in the basement when we discovered there was an entire building full of grown-up toys: pool, air hockey, shuffleboard, ping pong. My Gosh!Of course, the house was huge and beautiful; the beds were comfortable, the rooms soundproof, and the view was exceptional. Even the weather was great. And had it not been great weather, we could have happily spent the days indoors playing games and looking at his great art collection.Thanks so much!!

My family and I spent one fabulous week at this house in September. Communication with Greg before our stay and with Bill (the onsite handyman) while we were there were smooth. The space is cozy, game rooms are so much fun, the kitchen is very well-equipped and the overall surrounding make this house the perfect place for a vacation. We visited multiple wineries and restaurants - Sandbanks has it all if you are a foodie type. Would go back at this beautiful house anytime!

Great stay

We had a really wonderful weekend at Greg’s place! The view was beautiful’, the kids had so much fun with all the activities. It was so nice to be able to eat all our supper outside on the balcony. House was very clean and had everything we needed. We will be back for sure! Thanks again:)

This was a pleasant surprise, better than advertised. Host was superb in communication. Plus a friendly property manager of sorts nearby, ready to assist. Lots of things to do in the house. Too cold for fun on the shoreline, but that would be icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

Our family enjoyed an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage while celebrating a 65th birthday and relishing some summer fun! There were six adults and three children (ages 1, 2 and 7), and the cottage was perfect for all of us.From the moment we arrived (with a friendly welcome from Bill), we were impressed by the attention to detail throughout the property. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully maintained, and designed to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The setting was simply amazing, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable family celebration!The cottage was spacious (so many rooms to play or relax within), well-equipped (everything we could possibly need for cooking, games & puzzles to enjoy, and equipment for fun on the lake!), and had everything we needed for both the adults and the little ones to enjoy our time together. The games room was epic! We absolutely loved the upper deck for dining and the sitting area to relax! We made so many wonderful memories and truly appreciated the care and thought that went into creating such a special place.Thank you Greg for welcoming us and staying in communication throughout our stay. A huge thank you to Bill for your friendly chats and checking in on us from time to time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and we hope to return again in the future!

Our extended family traveled from Cincinnati, Waterloo, Ottawa, and Montreal to gather for a week, and this well-maintained, well-stocked cottage was the perfect fit for us.The cottage and lakeside waterfront was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner provided a detailed operator's manual that came in handy a couple of times and made managing everything seamless. Bill, a property manager residing nearby, came to check on us a couple times to make sure all was going smooth. We loved spending time on the waterfront here enjoying an annual family get together.Greg, the owner, provided lots of information and suggestions prior to our trip on what we can do at the cottage and surrounding area. We packed a ton of activities into our week but still couldn't do it all! Some of our highlights included renting a pontoon boat for a trip to Sandbanks (hanging out on the Lake Ontario side) and grabbing lunch at Pounders. We also had a fantastic day wine tasting at Sandbanks and The Grange (our preference!), broken up by an amazing lunch at The Drake Devonshire, and even made use of the public gym and sauna in Picton.It was a thoroughly satisfying vacation. The hospitality here is top-notch. We are already talking about coming back again in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Getaway with long-term friends

My friend group and I enjoyed Greg’s cottage for a wonderful weekend in PEC! The cottage completely exceeded our expectations and the welcome guide as well as the property manager left no question unanswered! Our family really enjoyed our time at Greg’s cottage. His property manager was there when we arrived and showed us how everything worked. We had a few questions during our stay which were answered very quickly. The cottage is lovely and large and has everything you could possibly need! We would highly recommend this cottage to others.

We had a wonderful time celebrating a big birthday at Greg's place. The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids ages 3 to 7 -- lots of common areas big enough for everyone to be together, but also room to spread out so each person could have their own space when needed. The range of available games was unparalleled, from pinball to pool to wooden train sets to boardgames and puzzles for all ages, to the delight of both kids and adults. The house was impeccably clean and very-well equipped (we had an awesome pizza night using the fancy pizza oven on the balcony), and came with an extensive manual to help us find what we needed. It is also filled with beautiful and varied artwork, and the sunsets over West Lake are amazing. It's a very short drive from Sandbanks and it was great to have passes provided. Communication with the host, Greg, was quick and easy from the beginning of the booking process right through to the end of our stay -- he answered all our questions quickly and extensively and provided many suggestions for things to do around the county. Onsite, Bill did a great job making sure we had everything we needed and helping out with any issues we ran into. We would gladly return and would highly recommend this place for larger groups to use as a home base in PEC.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family loved our extended Thanksgiving at this lovely property! Beautiful lakefront setting with a gentle slope to the water. Fire pit on the beach was ideal and sunsets were stunning. Many comfortable sitting areas - inside and outside. Well appointed kitchen and bbq area for the cooks in the family. Stunning, eclectic artwork and furniture throughout - feels like a lovely home not a sterile rental. Two game rooms were amazing - we played pinball, darts, air hockey, shuffle board and pool. Great location within a short drive to Wellington or Picton and wineries. Can’t wait till next time!

A great family cottage

My family celebrated a milestone birthday and we could not have asked for a better cottage. There were 10 of us including 2 children under 2. The cottage is incredibly well appointed and nothing has been forgotten. Bill, the property manager was very responsive to all of my questions. I love the cottage ‘Opereating Manual’ as I know it saved many questions for Bill.Its proximity to Sandbanks and the inclusion of a season pass was such a bonus and we made full use of the park.I would highly recommend the cottage to any one looking for a larger cottage. I would not hesitate to return as we all had a wonderful holiday.

Anniversary Celebration

We rented Greg’s cottage to celebrate my Parents 50th anniversary with my family and my brothers. For a group of 6 adults and 4 teens this place was perfect. Spacious enough that when people needed their own space they had it. The size and amount of bathrooms was great. The water pressure in the showers was also fantastic. More than enough activities to do and extremely close to Sandbanks. The use of the day passes was an added bonus. I am now addicted to pinball! Greg and Bill were both readily available. Would highly recommend staying here.

Family get together

The location and is great- just as advertised. We had various family members rotate through over the 10 days we stayed and they were all blown away by the cottage, location and amenities. The weather was a bit cool for several days so the games room and pinball machines got a pretty good workout. Greg the owner was in frequent contact and Bill who looks after maintenance was over frequently. Nice man who evidently cared that we had a good time. We will be back!
