Thw property was beautiful. Clean, modern and with everything you could need. The pool was quiet and clean, and the location was amazing being 5 minutes drive to Ramla beach

Wonderful house with a view

The apartment is very good and clean, well furnished and comfortable. The way to the beach is not 10min walk (is more than that) and to the center village is very close but car is advisable. The beach is very beautiful.

Dear Ana, thank you very much for your review of our property. We are pleased to hear you and your family enjoyed your stay in our apartment. It says in the add that it is around a 15min walk to the beach. We told you beforehand though that with one small child and a baby it would take longer. Likewise to the square with two small children it is maybe nicer to have a car but not necessary. It is actually quite a pleasant walk (tip: for the last part, take the parallel road G Diacono to your right opposite the post office). Welcome back anytime and kind regards, Anita

What a fabulous apartment. Clean, well equipped and a lovely quiet location but not too far from shops bars and restaurants. The apartment was so comfortable, in particular the beds. The pool area is spotless and a lovely area to spend time in. Anita and Mark are very communicative and Nick who met us at the apartment is lovely and so helpful. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. You won’t regret it!

great apartment

Clean and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the terrace and the pool was perfect. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. We have stayed in Xaghra before, the apartment's location is great for a walk to Ramla beach. It’s a steep climb back up but there is a bus if you’re not up for it. The owners and Nick the agent were all super helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. All together a brilliant stay.

Beautiful appartment with a really nice view!

The appartment is perfect for a family with two children or teenagers. It is very well equiped and the view is really beautiful. We used the big balcony to watch the sunset in the evening. The pool is also very beautiful and clean. Almost all the scenic parts of Gozo can be easily reached in 15 to 20 minutes and the beach in Ramla Bay is very close by. 5 stars are well deserved.

Nice 2Bedroom Apartment in calm environment

The apartment is located on a quiet street without supermarkets or restaurant in the immediate vicinity (<500 meters). We were traveling with rental car and it did not bother us.

To be precise, there are supermarkets and a restaurant within 600 and 800 mtrs from our apartment, all a 10min walk. Xaghra square with restaurants and bars is 1km away, a 15min walk. Holiday home

Wasn’t as clean as I would of expected and was a little shocked that we were expected to clean the apartment and wash the towels and bedding ourselves as we were staying for two weeks, which I thought was poor service based on previous experience. Nick the manager was lovely and very helpful.

Dear Rebecca. If the apartment wasn’t as clean as you expected, I sincerely apologize for that. I’d like to point out though that you were not expected to clean the apartment but if you need the cleaners to come in during your stay there is a small extra charge. Likewise, extra bedding and towels are provided in the apartment or your bedding washed against a small charge which we communicated beforehand, but you decided not to take these services. Our apartment is self-catering and not a hotel room. That is why a washing machine is provided as a facility, so that guests can wash their own laundry. We are very happy to hear though that you enjoyed your holiday with us as you mentioned in a private message. Thank you.

Fantastic apartment with a great view

The apartment is very spacious and modern with the most amazing sunset every night. The kitchen is equipped with all amenities, and we cooked dinner several evenings. We loved to sit on the big sun terrace and enjoy the wonderful views and the silence. Spacious bedrooms with very good and comfortable beds. Everything in the apartment is brand new, and we really liked the ACs that were very quiet. We arrived by car, and the check-in went smoothly. Nick was very helpful and could even provide some nice suggestions for sightseeing in Gozo. Easy to find a parking space very close to the apartment. Wonderful pool area with sunbeds. The pool is very clean. Approx. 10 min. walk to the city centre with nice restaurants. We had a great stay in Trankwilla.

Great Apartment

Best apartment we have stayed at over the number of years we have been coming to Gozo. Will stay again, the views are great, the pool was lovely, the neighbours friendly and convenient for convenient shops, bars and restaurants.

Perfect Xaghara home base

Trankwilla apartment is perfectly situated and equipped for a pleasant stay in Gozo. The living space is comfortable for relaxing after a day of touring, swimming at the nearby local beaches, or rock climbing as was our pleasure. The spacious and bright living room, and best of all, well equipped kitchen were better than expected. It was always easy to park near the apartment and the apartment was easy to get to in all directions. The place was clean and check in easy. We highly recommend!

Wonderful modern apartment with a large sunny terrace and 10-15 mins walk to town and Ramla Beach

We had a fantastic time in Trankwilla this October. Everything in the apartment was fresh and modern and done with good taste. We could see beforehand that the sun terrace was a good size and we were delighted to find that it caught the sun from about 11:00 a.m. until the end of the day. We tended to walk down to the beach in the morning and then stay on the terrace or around the pool for the afternoon if the weather allowed. The town is about 10 mins walk away and there you will find a lovely square surrounded by good restaurants and local bars. Gozo is so much nicer than Malta, so we were pleased with our choice of location as this was our first visit. We had a young child with us and I always felt the apartment was a very safe environment for her. We had a hire car since the ferry cost to Gozo is very cheap and we used that to visit the sights and shop at Lidl etc., but it isn't essential if you are prepared to use the buses. The checking in service went very smoothly and Nick was there to meet us at midnight on the day of our arrival and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. I think the entry via the key press would have worked easily also, but we didn't want to take the risk at that time of night.

Très confortable !

Superbe appartement, très spacieux et confortable ! Très bien situé dans la ville de Xaghra on y a trouvé des supérettes et arrêts de bus à 10min à pied. Le centre ville étant à 15min à pied nous avons pu profiter de son ambiance et de sa convivialité en fin de journée ! On y trouve notamment le restaurant Oleander qui est extrêmement bon. A savoir que l’île des gozo est plutôt bien desservies au niveau des bus donc pour découvrir l’île nous n’avons pas eu de problèmes. L’appartement était très propre. On y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin pour cuisiner avec tout l’électroménager nécessaire. Une chose manquait peut être : un grille-pain. Nous avons aussi apprécier la literie ainsi que le calme de la résidence. D’ailleurs celle-ci porte très bien son nom ! La piscine, aussi bien entenue, est calme et permet des moments de détentes après des longues journées de marche. La terrasse nous a surpris car on ne s’entendait pas à ce qu’elle soit aussi grande. Pour manger et bronzer c’est idéal ! Parfois il y a beaucoup de vent mais étant donnée les températures au mois d’août ça ne fait pas de mal ! Nous avons énormément apprécié l’accueil et les conseils pour visiter l’île de gozo lors de notre arrivée. Nous remercions les propriétaires pour les consignes sur l’appartement qui nous ont permis de profiter pleinement des lieux ! Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour à Gozo. Et je recommanderais volontiers cette appartement pour son confort, son emplacement et si vous avez la perspective de passer de bonnes vacances !

Beautiful relaxing apartment

We had such a lovely time in the apartment with everything we needed for a great holiday on Gozo. The flat was spotless and well equipped, very comfortable and spacious. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

Ruim en schoon apartement met goede voorzieningen.

We hebben erg genoten van het heerlijke balkon en geweldige uitzicht. Ook van de rust. De plek is goed; rand vh dorp maar vlakbij mooie wijngaarden en t strand.

toller Aufenthalt in Xaghra!

Der Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung im Haus Trankwilla hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war alles vorhanden, was gebraucht wurde. Das Städtchen Xaghra ist mit seinem quirligem Dorfplatz sehr zu empfehlen. Der schöne Strand Ramla ist schnell zu erreichen.
