Hyggeligt sommerhus, Hebden Bridge Center, nær Rail Station

It was a pleasure to have Miriam and her friend stay in our cottage. They are a lovely couple who left our place in a very clean and tidy condition. Communication throughout was friendly and prompt. We have no hesitation in recommending Miriam and friend to other hosts and would welcome them back any time.

We find this to be a very disappointing review to read. We have 100 reviews for our property on another site and have never been awarded less than 4 stars with 94 five star reviews; incidentally, these reviews have commented on how comfortable the beds are. We work hard to maintain high standards and to make guests feel at home. Your 3 star rating appears to be on the basis of the two complaints that you have mentioned. With respect to your point that the listing states that the beds are king size; the listing has never described the beds as being king size. In the detailed description we say: "Two comfortable double bedrooms are situated on the first floor". With regards to your point concerning the TV, here is a copy of the relevant section of the listing: "Smart TV with Netflix installed. No live TV." To criticise the property for the lack of an amenity that was clearly identified in the listing seems to us to be a little harsh. It is difficult to escape the conclusion that you appear not to have read the listing thoroughly before you booked the property and before you wrote your review.
