Enjoy Healdsburg's coveted Chalk Hill area from our modern and bright pool cottage, completed with love in 2024, and nestled on 6 cherished acres. Featuring an en-suite bedroom with king bed, and a cozy den with a Room & Board day bed that pops up into a queen bed, this 1000 sq. ft. cottage sleeps four. A second full bathroom next to the den means no one has to fight for the shower. Both bathrooms feature luxurious Toto bidet toilets. Cook beautiful wine country meals in the open kitchen with an island that seats four, 5-burner gas range, Fisher & Paykel refrigerator, and dishwasher. The washer/dryer are also hidden away discretely in the kitchen so you can do laundry without missing out on the action. Mini-split ACs, radiant heated floors, and an electric fireplace in the living room ensure you'll be comfy in any climate. Although the living room also offers a flat screen LG tv, your best view is just steps away, outside! Three sets of stacking glass doors facing the pool can be opened to allow complete indoor/outdoor living. From the pool, enjoy sweeping southern views, including the vineyards of our direct neighbor, Roth Winery. If you're lucky, you'll get a glimpse of Roth's bison, which enjoy grazing next to our fence line.

If wine is what you're looking for, pace yourselves! We border both Roth Winery and Calluna Vineyards, and can help arrange private tastings at Calluna. Directly across Chalk Hill Road from Roth Winery is Chalk Hill Winery. A stone's throw north on Chalk Hill is Acaibo Trinite Estate, and other renowned wineries including Silver Oak Alexander Valley (15 mins) and Jordan (20 mins) are just a short drive away. Downtown Healdsburg, offering a wealth of restaurants from quaint Bravas Tapas and Journeyman Meat Co. to 3-star Michelin Single Thread can be reached by car in under 20 minutes. Stock up on groceries at Oliver's Market or try one of the many lovely restaurants in Windsor, less than a 15 minute drive away.

Don't want to drive to Healdsburg? Chalk Hill Road is a cyclists paradise. Load your bikes onto the SMART Train in Marin (if you live in SF, take the ferry to the SMART Train!), get off at the Windsor stop, and ride your bikes to the cottage. Spend your days cycling around to nearby wineries, and end your day back at home, grilling on the Green Egg and soaking in the hot tub. Beautiful hiking trails including at Shiloh Ranch Regional Park are also nearby. During warmer months, kayaking on the Russian River is a must-do. This is a truly unique opportunity to enjoy the best of Chalk Hill!

The cottage is the only residence on the 6 acres, so you will experience complete privacy. Rental of the cottage includes exclusive use of the pool and hot tub.

Note: Our stunning yet rustic 6 acres contain various features such as a seasonal pond and some rocky terrain that will require close supervision of children. We do not recommend bringing young children unless you are prepared to closely supervise. Please stay on paved/path areas only. The short private road from Chalk Hill Road to the cottage is narrow and steep in some areas. Only standard-sized passenger vehicles such as sedans and SUVs are permitted (no large trucks or campers are permitted).

Please do not ask for exceptions to our no pet policy. We have various animals including bison and goats that roam along our fence line, and may fear unfamiliar animals. We do not wish to put your animals or neighboring animals at risk. Thanks for your understanding.
