Velkommen til vores helt nye hjem på Silver Lake. Bedøvelse 103 meter privat strand med klart vand og sandbund. Vi kalder dette Silver Lining Lodge på Silver Lake. Herunder 7 fjernsyn, 2 udendørs pejse, grilldæk, skærm veranda. Soveværelser er: to kingsize-master suiter, et med ekstra dag seng - begge søudsigt. En dronning soveværelse med udsigt over søen, plus en køjeseng værelse med to køjesenge og filmområde for børn, plus et ekstra soveværelse med en fuld størrelse seng - i alt 5 soveværelser. Gå ind, nyd i udsigten og slappe af. Gourmetkokkens køkken. Vasketøj. Film område for børn i brugerdefinerede Bunk værelse. Kajakker, flydende enheder, fiskestænger. South Beach stil gårdhave sæt. Spiseplads i skærm veranda. Spil sæt til børn. Fantastiske solnedgange.

We had a really great time here - great location, beautiful scenery, and plenty of space for a group of friends and kids to stay. The house was really worn, though - cushions were dirty and ripped, sheets had stains, etc. - it didn’t seem like it had been cleaned that thoroughly. It is a great home but needs to be much better maintained.

Great house

Awesome house in a great location! This house layout is perfect for our growing family with pets. It does need a good cleaning inside and to replace some kitchen items, rugs, porch and patio chair cushion covers.

The backyard area is great with the lake and enjoyable. Plenty of space in the house. I will say though, With the price you spend on this home, you would expect they could at least provide toilet paper, hand soap, paper towel, items like that. And when we checked in, all the towels were wet in the washing machine (forgotten) and had to do a load so we had bath towels.

Family stay

House was spacious and views spectacular. Kids loved fishing off the dock and kayaking around the lake. Screened in porch was our go to space for gathering. Beach required daily clean up as the geese loved to hang out there each morning.

We rented the property but stayed at another property as the VRBO limited the occupancy to 12.

Enjoyed eating areas in screened in porch for the kids. Enjoyed the fireplace in that same location. Kids enjoyed the lake daily for swims and playing on the float.

Lakeside Retreat

This is a beautiful property with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable and fun summer vacation. The dock allowed for a rental pontoon and plenty of space to gather for swimming. The home itself is spacious, bright and family friendly. This was our second stay and we'll definitely come back!

Lovely Home

My friends an our young adult children had a very pleasant week long stay. Home was comfortable and well equipped. Very peaceful. Close to Saugatuck and Douglas and good grocery stores.

Terrific for family’s.

We had our son and daughters family’s with us and our 3 grand children. The space worked out very well. The beach and the swing set definitely got a work out with 3 kids under the age of 4!

Another Great Visit

We stayed here the first week of July, and it was our third time at this property. We absolutely love it. Great location and the owners have plenty’s of beach/water toys and chairs to use. Plenty of space for everyone (we had 6 adults and 4 children) and tons to do in and around Saugatuck - berry/cherry picking, wine tasting, etc. Looking forward to next year.

Girls weekend at the lake

We had a little girls weekend getaway at this beautiful very well equipped home. Plenty of towels, paper products and full kitchen with plenty of cookware/bakeware so we were easily able to cook lots of meals. Very clean and when we had a few questions during our stay we got very quick responses. Absolutely beautiful setting on th lake. Would highly recommend, perfect place for large group, would love to come back again!

Wonderful weekend getaway on Silver Lake!

Our extended family stayed here for a long weekend in September and absolutely loved it! The house is pristine with all the amenities you could want. We traveled with small children, so it was perfect that the older kids could hang out downstairs and not be limited on noise while the younger ones napped. The details of the layout in this home were obviously well thought out. The screened in porch was our favorite spot. We hope to return!

Silver Lake

The cottage was great with a minor problem that 2 of the upstairs bathrooms had toilets that hadn't been completely cleaned; the amount of algea in the lake was disappointing but it didn't deter the kids; the amount of goose poop on the raft was shocking but 6 industrious preteens & a broom prevailed.

Excellent House in Saugutuck

Our family of 11 gathered for a week celebration. This house was perfect! It had enough bathrooms, and various gathering spots in the house. We all especially enjoyed th screened-in porch off the kitchen. We all ate our meals around the large table, we played games at night around the table. It was great! So was the outdoor patio. We gathered there a lot. Very beautiful and comfortable! Anyone would enjoy this wonderful vacation house!

Summertime Getaway With The Family

This house was perfect for our family of ten and we have stayed there three times since discovering the property in 2019. With two master bedrooms, two bedrooms on the lower level and a "Kids Suite" on the second floor there was plenty of room for all. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living area, the screened-in porch and the lower level bar. The Falato's are great hosts and have always responded quickly when we have had a question regarding the house. We look forward to returning next year...!

The setting of the home was beautiful. The house accommodated our family. Our only issue was cleanliness. The outdoor furnishings were badly weathered and dirty. Linens and pillows were worn. Furniture and carpet in the main room was stained and dirty.

Amazing home

We rented this house for a corporate team retreat. The house is very spacious and perfect size for 5 of us to each have our own bedroom and bathroom. It was easy for us to connect into the wifi and use the (numerous!) TVs and sound system for our discussions. Everything is top-quality and beautiful design. It is obvious this is a well-loved family home and we considered ourselves lucky to find such a fabulous rental. The view and frontage on the lake is beautiful. The neighborhood is very pretty and great for a quiet walk. Very easy access into downtown Saugatuck (less than 10 minute drive). We'll definitely be back!

Family Vacation

The logistics of the home were functional and the property has so much potential. The house, yard and garage are in need of some deep cleaning and care. Surprised that toilet paper, paper towels, soap and other essentials were not included. They were only available if the previous renter left them. Either way you need to pack not knowing what will be there. Overall a decent home - just not very clean.

Great weekend getaway!

We had a wonderful weekend at JoAnn's property! It was perfect for a quick getaway from Chicago and eight adults fit very comfortably with room for more if needed. The listing and photos were accurate, the place was clean, and the lake was relaxing with beautiful sunset views. We brought some hammocks that were easy to set up with the multiple trees out front. We took advantage of the board games that were at the house and also loved having the easy access to the outdoor patio with the grill right next to the bar inside, and dining on the screened in porch was great too. The bonus of multiple TVs in the basement was a nice addition on a big college football night - go green! :) There was a little confusion upon arrival on how to access the property but it was resolved quickly. We would rent here again and hopefully next time we can stay longer than a weekend!

Disappointing

The house is lovely, however with the cost of the rental, I expected to have a kitchen with decent pots and pans, and glassware consisting of more than souvenir and sippy cups. The bathrooms lacked a sufficient amount of quality towels. Not enough information supplied by owners on the working of the air conditioning system.(each day the thermostat would inexplicably go to 60 degrees at 10:00 am.) That said, my grandchildren did enjoy the beach and the various water toys and kayaks.

I will start with the fact that we had a fabulous family vacation! It was our first time in the area and it is a great area! The house was big enough for all of us and having the yard and beach area and room to play and relax was fantastic! Plenty to do around the area between restaurants, shops, bars and activities. We rented pontoon one day and jet skis another, Lake Michigan is beautiful!! We truly enjoyed the entire week there with family and able to enjoy a space that fit us all and still didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. It’s a gorgeous house and beautiful location.Downside to the house and why I didn’t give it excellent,was just the cleanliness in general, it had been surfaced cleaned and bedding and towels were all cleaned and ready for use, but it could use a nice deep cleaning. The fridges hadn’t been wiped out completely, cobwebs in areas and on lighting fixtures. Tubs didn’t drain great and need some draino and my husband had to tighten all the toilet seats because they were very loose and would move to the sides when you sat down. And although I appreciate having things left behind by other guests like condiments and spices or bags and things you didn’t use, but there were expired condiments in the fridge a bag left on the counter that we didn’t realize also had left behind. There was also a pile of bedding and broken furniture in the main garage that was a weird place for all of that to be. Could definitely use a better cleaning service.

Why 3 stars instead of 5....

The home is ideal for large gatherings. We loved it. The appliances are all top notch. The problem was the towel situation. None of the bathrooms or bedrooms had towels ! We found big beach towels in the laundry room. The last morning when we were starting a load of sheets, as requested by homeowner, that we found 22 towels in the dryer! I'm pretty sure that 22 towels in a washer or dryer at one time, aren't very clean, or dry. With positive intent, I offer the following suggestions to the homeowner: 1.) Buy a supply of hotel size soap. Amazon. 400 bars for $35 2.) Buy new towels. Each bedroom should have 2 sets. Can buy sets of 6 (wash, hand, bath) for $49. 3.) This is a 5 star home, it should have 5 star amenities. A standard of paper products should be included, ie: 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 rolls of TP per bathroom. 1 pack of paper napkins, 1 box of tissue per bath etc. 4.) Probably begin looking for new housekeeping team. Last, let me finish by stating this is a wonderful home and our family had one of our best gatherings here.

Incredibly beautiful home. The kids loved the private beach and playground. The layout was also excellent and ensured everyone had their space. Views were also stunning.
