Vores hytte er placeret på bløff med udsigt over den hvide flod. Nyd morgenkaffe på dækket midt i flodtågen, eller slap af i en lænestol og se solen gå ned. Det indre af kabinen har fantastisk udsigt fra stue / spisestue, soveværelse og køkken. Kabinen har tre soveværelser - et med en konge; en med en fuld; en med to tvillinger. Stunning Views!

Lovely property exactly as advertised. Hosts were very responsive and answered every question quickly, including our last minute request for an early check in. So peaceful sitting on the deck, looking at the river and listening to the birds and the cows across the way. Easy drive to the Ozark Folk Center and Mountainview for music.

Calico Rock Cabin

Wonderful stay at this Calico Rock cabin. Clean, lots of amenities …. Kitchenware, washer/dryer, coffee makers, comfortable beds & the view from the deck is simply gorgeous. The host was great at communicating, checkin was simple & easy. Entire stay felt like home.

Bean Festival Lodging

Short Getaway

This house is exactly what we were looking to find. A beautiful view of the rive, exceptionally clean, quiet and provided everything we needed. The host was easy to work with and very accommodating.

Birthday weekend

Booked this for my birthday weekend with some friends. We had the best time. The beds are comfortable and the view is wonderful. We even saw a bald eagle our last morning there! I highly recommend this for a nice relaxing time away.

Just as expected

The house looked just like it did in the photos. easy to get to, smooth check in process and good communication with the host. The house was extremely clean and had all the basics we needed for a weekend trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Extremely Impressed

The location, facilities and view were even better than the pictures indicated. We had an excellent view of the river. The communication was very clear. The information book at the house was detailed and easy to follow. The things included related to cooking and cleaning were the most comprehensive of any place I’ve ever stayed. You won’t better place to stay in the area.

White River

It was a lovely place and had everything possible for comfort. If one was staying longer, it would be very convenient. Closer to town than I thought. For some reason, I thought it was on acreage and no close neighbors. We did have a quiet stay with nice views, which is what we wanted.

Absolutely Breathtaking

First, after having issues with booking online the owner responded quickly and helped me book our last minute trip to visit family. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We spent the days exploring the beautiful shops and scenery nearby and spent the evenings enjoying the views from the cabin. It was so nice and clean, the host provided everything needed (except food, course) and we shopped at the local grocery about 5 min away. It was an amazing trip!

This property was even better than we expected.

We have stayed in cabins in Tennessee and Colorado that were amazing. So when we rented this one last minute, we had no idea it be comparable to those. It was even better in person and better than the pictures described. Everything was exactly what we wanted and needed, they thought of everything. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we will be going back. Thanks for making our little getaway perfect!

SOW BUG TROUT FISHING VISIT

Great home with beautiful views. Comfy beds, quite nights. Rained very hard for two days so river was muddied up and not as clear as usual. Had an exceptional experience with son's family and grand kids. Thanks so much. Hope to get back again.

Great trip

Cabin was clean, we enjoyed our peaceful stay. We are a busy family so just chilling out on the deck looking out at the River was awesome. We spotted dear along the banks, squirrels and plenty of cardinals came to visit the nearby trees. Hosts gave plenty of ideas for us to do while here. We fished the river, ate at the local cafe, toured the shops, rented a boat at the marina 20 min away. Small town atmosphere but big on friendliness. I’d recommend it.

Family Visit

We had a wonderful stay @ Vicki's beautiful home overlooking the White River! We didn't check-in until dark, so we appreciated the detailed instructions. Waking up to the view of the river was incredible! We loved having coffee on the deck listening to the birds sing, cows mooing in the distance, and the sounds of the river. The house was so comfortable, and super clean. There is a binder of information that was very helpful (maps, restaurant menus, activities, etc). The house was definitely 5 stars, and we had a wonderful time in Calico Rock!!

Yes, it was!

I had never visited Calico Rock and wanted to find a new place to stay. Views are extremely important to us. I read about a LOT of rentals in the area but this one made an impression because of the view. The photos didn't do the views justice. It was absolutely beautiful. The home was clean, spacious and just as described. Vicki was extremely responsive. We usually stay in remote locations so the properties next to us seemed close, but we were expecting that, after all, we were in town! Speaking of the town, the downtown area is small (only a couple of blocks) but it is quaint and cute. We visited the museum (worth the time), a restaurant and several small flea markets. Mountain View is less than 20 miles to the south and Mountain is less than 30 miles to the north west. We are already talking about a return trip!! It was all that and then some!!!! :-)

Absolute PERFECTION!

This cabin was nothing short of perfect! It is exactly as listed and is very well-stocked and super clean. It was so welcoming after a long, hot first day of travel. I originally picked this listing solely for the views. I initially had no idea where it was located in Arkansas until I read some more about the area. I just knew I HAD to wake up to those views! I couldn't have been more pleased with Calico Rock and the people there. They are all incredibly kind and treated my kids wonderfully! It just so happened to be a supermoon weekend, and we were able to catch the 4th of July fireworks at the park too! Everything else we wanted to do was just a short, scenic drive away! Perfect for day trips and then supper back in town. We loved the museum, antique stores, Printing Press Cafe, Between the Buns, Junipers, and Calico Rock Trout Dock guided fishing tour! It's definitely a place you want to stay on vacation forever at! In fact my husband is already trying to figure out when he can go back!

After years of enjoying the White River, we bought the property in 2009 and began construction on our cabin shortly thereafter. The view from our cabin is unique because rather than just looking across the river, our cabin is positioned so that guests can also see upstream.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The cabin is about a mile away from boat launches for the White River and about 20 minutes away from Lake Norfolk. The area is very peaceful and is a great place to get away from the stresses of a busy life.
