This apartment made me feel at home as soon as we entered. It is exactly as portrayed in the pictures and has a beautiful view of the lake. We loved having dinner on the balcony as the sun set. On a hot afternoon, the A/C was also very welcome. We drove to the apartment which was a bit disconcerting - as the roads are quite narrow and parking the car was an accomplishment - but once that was done - the area is very walkable and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

This apartment is amazing, it’s well appointed, clean, very close to the town and ferries to the islands and other parts of the lake (5 min walk) and has a lovely patio with amazing views over the lake to enjoy alfresco dining, Chantal is an wonderful host along with Giuliano close by to make sure you have a memorable stay….

The host and site manager were very attentive. They even helped with transportation arrangements. The view of the lake couldn’t be any better—pics are spot on! If you choose this place, you won’t regret it…unless you think you’ll have a hard time walking up a rather steep hill daily. My father-in-law at 88 is fairing well and while we had to stop frequently, he welcomed the challenge. )

This is one of few reviews we have ever left on VRBO or anywhere, but this is one of the most spectacular, well-appointed, and well managed properties we have rented. We truly appreciated the approach of the property manager, and especially Giuliano, for making it clear they valued our experience and were available to help with anything we needed. Thank you for making this one of the highlights of our visit to Italy.

We absolutely loved staying at this apartment. The view was incredible, the apartment was perfect for the four of us, and we were a very short walk to the center of town. Chantal was extremely helpful and booked us a ride from the airport to the apartment and Giuliano was kind and accommodating when we checked in and out. He also gave us incredible recommendations for restaurants. The apartment is beautiful, even better than the great photos. We would stay again in a second.

This is such a wonderful view from the apartment balcony! Our stay was peaceful and restorative! This trip for us was a chance to just be, experience and savor the beauty of Stresa. Our favorite restaurant was Trattoria La Botte, food, ambiance they have the total package!! The location is amazing, and I found the property manager kind and handled everything easily and was flexible. The space was comfortable and well equipped. Even the neighbors delightful. I very much enjoyed my stay at the Lovely Visa Lago. Grazie Mille Ramona

When we walked into the apartment, we were taken aback by how beautiful the place was. The views from every window were spectacular, the terrace was spacious, and the place made us feel completely at home with amazing amenities. We were a short walk into the town center. Communication with the host was wonderful for the whole process. We will definitely come back!

This apartment is really gorgeous, everything beautifully updated, comfortable and pleasing. The terrace view was breathtaking. The beds are extremely comfortable, with perfect pillows and lovely linens. Both bathrooms are luxurious.One caveat is that the air conditioner is in the living room and the cool air doesn’t really reach the bedrooms. There are plenty of fans, but in this unusually hot summer, they were quite warm. The quiet location was super convenient to the ferries, grocery stores, shops and restaurants. However, while for us it was doable, the steep (20% grade!) climb to the building might be daunting for some, and at the end of a hot day it was a push. We did some cooking and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Really appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker!Giuliano, the property manager, is a wonder. He was friendly and prompt, and was great at guiding my husband into the small parking space in the garage the first time. He also explained where our other couple could park nearby. Unfortunately, the tiny washing machine, which by that point in our trip we really needed, stopped working shortly after we started it. Giuliano came back immediately. Determining it needed to be replaced, he actually took the wet clothing and washed it for us in another apartment! Chantal also offered to reimburse us if we used one of the nearby laundromats. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Vista Lago, a beautiful apartment in a beautiful town.

Thank you so much for your review - I really appreciated it and am sorry the washing machine had come to the end of its life when you arrived (it is being replaced tomorrow). The air-condtioning is going to be upgraded with splitters in both bedrooms as the summers in Stresa seem be getting hotter.

The Best of Lake Maggiore

The property was better than we could have imagined, steps from the lake and downtown. We all raved about the spectacular views and the space on the balcony.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Vista Lago, a lovely apartment with a fantastic view. The location is exactly as described, just a few minutes walk from the town and lake and within 15/20 minutes walk from the station (taxi recommended if you have your luggage, as there is bit of a climb to the apartment). A wide choice of sensibly priced places to eat in Stresa made for a great week.

Lovely apartment with stunning views

We had a great time in Stresa and the highlight of the holiday was this apartment. The living room and large outdoor area have magnificent views across the lake.

Wonderful place, stunning view!

We loved our stay here in this well appointed apartment with a stunning view. It is the perfect place to enjoy a respite from a busy travel schedule. The islands were within view, and a beautiful park is next-door. Chantal was lovely to deal with, and arranged for a taxi for us from the train station and for Guiliano to greet us and introduce us to the apartment. Would highly recommend!!!

Gorgeous location

The property was very comfortable and the deck was amazing. Thankfully everything was walkable (train station, ferries, grocery, restaurants), driving the streets and the garage were very tight even with a small car. Host was fabulous to work with. HIghly recommend this property.

Great apartment within walking distance of the town center and had spectacular views!

We had a great overall stay at Chantal’s home. She was very easy to organize details with and even made transportation to the apartment a breeze. The apartment itself was clean, provided everything we needed and was in a great location! You can not beat the terrace and the views! I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Stresa

We stayed 2 nights during Europe’s blazing heat wave. And they were the most comfortable nights of our trip. The apartment is great; the deck is magical. Excellent check in and support from hosts.

Lovely apartment with fantastic views

This apartment is not the cheapest but is worth every penny. The apartment itself is spacious and well decorated. The terrace catches the sun most of the day, although there is also plenty of shade. The view over the lake and Stresa is spectacular. Lake Maggiore is beautiful. The perfect place to relax, chill and enjoy the dolce vita!

Spotless apartment, amazing views!!!

Vista Lago is a fully equipped, modern 2 bedroom apartment right in the centre of Stresa. Check-in and out was simple and quick thanks to Giuliano, and communication with Chantal was very easy and pleasant. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, and most importantly, the view is spectacular. We spent lots of time on the huge balcony just enjoying beautiful Lago Maggiore. I highly recommend this property! We plan on returning again ourselves.

Very nice location and lovely views from the terrace!

Very pleasant stay in Stresa at this apartment. Only thing to consider is that if you park your car in the garage you will need to walk up several steps to get to the apartment building. Views were lovely from the terrace. Hosts provided a few basics which was nice; spices, olive oil, tissues, soap. Giuliano was very helpful and Chantal too responded quickly. Thank you!

Perfection

The apartment was ideally located near shopping, restaurants and the lake. We didn't need to use our car at all. The apartment itself was well-appointed, extremely clean and comfortable. Giuliano, the manager could not have been nicer or more helpful. We lived Stresa, and if we return, we will definitely stay at this apartment!
