Fantistic, spacious apartment with an incredible view. Absolutely everything you could possibly need was provided and all equipment, switches and keys were clearly labelled. We had a great stay and will miss waking up to that view for a long time to come !

Beautiful Location in Amazing Property

This place is beautiful and right on the water. Easy access to shore path and feels very safe. All the amenities you could need.

Peaceful with fantastic views

No. 38 got everything for a fantastic, relaxing holiday. All 5 of us enjoyed the stay. The changing Lough Foyle views were fantastic!

Myself and two friends stayed here last week and it was perfect. We had entered the Quadrathlon which was 4 marathons in 4 days and it was an ideal location to get to all of the start / finish lines as well as the space to chill out and prepare our own food etc. The views are amazing and an added bonus was that we saw Dolphins swimming in the sea.

A little piece of paradise with a fantastic view

We had an amazing stay at this property which had everything we needed. We were lucky with the weather and we’re able to use the massive terrace Everything you could need was in the property and you are able to walk to the little town A fantastic break

Lovely stay

Great spacious apartment with beautiful costal views from the patio . Spotted dolphins in the bay one evening. Stroove beach a very short drive away which was perfect for swimming and spotting seals! Would highly recommend the apartment and area.

This is a fantastic appartment overlooking Lough Foyle, balcony is wonderful , we had a lovely display from the dolphins ! Rooms are a great size & the kitchen is so well equipped , there’s nothing more you could ask for. Elaine is a brilliant host, if you have a query it’s answered in a few minutes & so helpful with information on the area, we stayed here before & hopefully we will again , I would highly recommend this appartment

Very Nice living quarters! And, the owner provides exceptional service.

Great condo, friendly neighbors and fantastic location. Not many times does one get to rest in an old fort while in a new condo. Very interesting!

Amazing

Absolutely fantastic stay at this property! Great location and easy access to a beautiful walk and beach. Very secure. Host was fantastic and answered all my questions quickly and nothing was too much trouble! We will most definitely be back!

We are just back from a 4 night stay at this amazing apartment and I couldn’t recommend it more. Elaine is a top host who goes over and beyond for her guests, the check in details and guidance for the apartment were so easy to follow and nothing was missed. Communication is also brilliant no matter what I asked Elaine always replied so quickly. The apartment itself is gorgeous, probably one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. It is so spacious and bright and there is everything there possible you could need. We had our 2 year old son with us and everything for him was so safe also including the large outdoor terrace where we could relax and let him play without worrying about him all of the time. This was honestly like a home from home, Greencastle has a big place in our hearts and we have always come here from we were young so to find somewhere as good as this to stay has been fantastic. We have even booked in for next year to go again and cannot wait. If you are thinking on booking this gorgeous accommodation I would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful Location.

It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay there. The condo was clean and well-outfitted. Just a point of reference : We rented a car in Dublin and could not drive it in Northern Ireland. Therefore a trip that we thought would be no more than 4 hours was over 8 since we had to swing way around the country.

Wonderful

This is the best equipped apartment I’ve ever stayed in. So generous. The host has clearly thought about every single thing. Cooking was so easy as the kitchen equipment is brilliant. So we’ll equipped for kids with great cot and highchair. But mostly, this is probably the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever visited. Spotless. Will be returning!

Just Book it you will not be disappointed!

A thoughtfully and tastefully furnished new apartment, built within a site of a Napoleonic fort, with breath taking views over Lough Foyle. The apartment is kept scrupulously clean and has all the equipment and more you need for a comfortable home from home experience. The location is secure and very peaceful (except for the lapping of the waves a couple of meters from your bedroom window!). A few minutes short walk along a private path takes you to the town center where you will find one of the best fish restaurants in the country. Regardless of the weather or season this is an ideal base to explore the bountiful natural history, rich history and culture of Donegal.

Winter Holiday

We chose to go to Ireland in January to avoid the crowds and see the wonder of this island. This home, which has such a tremendous view served our needs perfectly. It is in a location that gave us a lot of privacy, but we were able to drive to many locations, both near and far away. We also needed something that would serve our needs for someone with mobility issues. Elaine was wonderful to communicate with and we had all the information that we needed for a successful stay thanks to Mark, who arrived when we did and showed us all the ins and outs of the home. Thank you!

Pictures don’t do it justice, magnificent inside & out!

Elaine was a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is very comfortable & well organized for guests. We had no trouble acomplishing tasks, thanks to her attention to detail. The kitchen is equipped with quality appliances & cookware. The views from the interior and balcony are spectacular at all times of the day. The historical significance of the Martello Fort & adjacent Northberg Castle provide a charismatic backdrop. We found everything we needed to cook healthy meals within a reasonable driving distance from the complex. We enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Wow, just Wow. We used to stay in a property near by but they have sold. We love the area and were looking for somewhere else, well Elaine's place at the Fort was a little Gem.The apartment was stunning, the views from the terrace were breathtaking, we had mixed weather but even then the views were Stunning. Elaine as a host, I can't thank her enough if I could give her more than 10 out of 10 I would, nothing was too much bother. Everything was catered for on the one occasion I needed to ask a question Elaine replied, She was out celebrating Her Wedding Anniversary so that tells you her dedication to being a first class host and for looking after her guests.The location is fantastic small local shops, a nice friendly Pub the Ferryport and a lovely Indian restaurant Sultans. The larger Town Moville is great and has a bigger shop and our Favourite Restaurant Rosatos, Friday quiz night is a must and music on a SaturdayLocal beaches we love from staying in the area for 20 years are Stroove and Kinnigoe Bay but there are others so enjoy the search.Going back to the apartment we have rented places from short and long weekends to longer stays from 1 or 2 weeks and we have never stayed somewhere that has everything whatever you need the Fort apartment has it.If you are thinking of booking and wondering if you should, if you don't you will be missing out on a fantastic apartment with incredible views over Loch Foyle

We were not able to go due to a medical emergency but will go at another time. We have stayed there before and so I know how great it is. Elaine was absolutely fantastic when we had the emergency. I cannot praise her highly enough.

Eine fantastische außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer und von der Rückseite des Hauses auf das historische Fort.Eine voll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit vielen liebevoll gestaltende Details.Die Küche mit allem ausgestattet.Eine riesige Außen Terrasse,sogar mit Grill. Wir hatten als Familie sehr viel Platz.Die Ferienanlage war sehr schön angelegt.Ein sehr netter Kontakt mit Mark und Elaine.Danke.
