A piece of paradise in the mountains

This place is stunning, even better than the pictures shows. Denis was the best host, friendly and shared a lot of suggestions of what to do, where to eat and places to see. We loved every minute of our stay, enjoyed the breakfasts at the balcony, the pool and terrace and ofcourse the possibility to play badminton 😊

Great tranquil location

Staying just outside Omiš is a great location, peace and quiet yet only a few minutes from the town. We loved rafting and kayaking and there are so many other activities we would have loved to do if we’d had more time. Denis was really helpful in booking activities and restaurant recommendations and the peka he prepared was amazing. Would definitely recommend staying at Villa Eagle.

Awesome experience.

Our group of four (2 senior couples) had an awesome time staying at Denis’s Villa Eagle. It was our home base as we toured each day to Split, Brac and the area surrounding Omis. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this location and the villa itself was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and the pool and garden were a delight. Denis is a superb host!

Beautiful Property

Can't say enough wonderful things about this rental and property manager, Dennis. The home was beautiful and was a great place to relax in the evenings. Pool was well maintained and the home was very clean. Complimentary cherries grown on property were shared with us from Dennis and this was appreciated. Area was very remote and quiet up in the high hills.

Lovely villa in beautiful surroundings

Me and my family stayed in Villa Eagle for two weeks this summer, and it was two wonderful weeks. The house was practical and was perfect for our family, with both teenagers and younger children, where they had more than enough room to play in the garden and the pool area. The valley where the house is located is so beautiful and peaceful, a place where you can truly relax. The host Denis is so nice, hospitable and helpful and made us feel so welcomed. We would definitely love to stay in Villa Eagle again!

Nice and big house. Perfect place for a big family with grown up children. Very helpful and serviceminded host who guided us before and during our stay. He made us a traditionel croatia menu one evening; generous and very welcoming. Deniz is a real champ. We have recommended him to our friends in Denmark. Hopefully we will be back one day. host ecee ex

Marvelous Spot, marvelous House, friendly owner!

We enjoyed as a family from this self built house. The owner created a beautiful place, on a private and marvelous spot in the mountains, 10 minutes drive away from Omis. The house is very comfortable, so is the swimming pool, everything created with care. The owner, Denis, is very pleasant to deal with, and made a delicious Croatian dish for us with his wife, using the vegetables, growing in the garden belonging to the villa. There are a lot of activities you can do in the surroundings like rafting and climbing, We will definitely come back, thank you Denis, for thIs beautiful week!

A little glimpse of paradise

We spent a week at Villa Eagle and didn't want to leave! The house was newly built, clean and well equipped with views from the top floor balcony across the valley to the hills beyond. Fantastic facilities - small badminton court, gym equipment and pool. Sadly the weather was a bit changeable in September so sunbathing and dips to cool off was limited, but in the hot summer I don't think we would have left the villa. Super comfy beds, and it was so quiet we slept really well. Dennis our host was lovely; nothing was too much trouble and he treated us to a traditional 'Peka' one evening. Best potatoes I've ever tasted!!

Stunning Villa

We chose the Villa for a relaxing 5 day break after a Croatian Cruise. The Villa is outstanding and Denis the owners attention to detail is superb. We loved the peaceful location and the fantastic views, it really did have the wow factor and was even better than the photos show.Denis is a proud man and has put a massive amount of work into the place to make it what it is, he was so helpful with everything and he also is a well known person in the whole town of Omis which is a beautiful place. We very rarely review places we visit but felt we had to on this occasion. We wish Denis and his family all the best for the future and our stay will leave long lasting memories. Thanks again Denis from Dean Alison Steve and Sharon

An absolute gem

We’ve had the most wonderful week staying at Villa Eagle with our two sons. Denis was a perfect host, helping us to arrange brilliant rafting and a great local meal out. He also cooked us a bbq as a thank you for staying! The villa was gorgeous, entirely peaceful with a delightful pool. The only criticism would be that the roads accessing the villa are pretty hairy; in our not brilliant hire car it felt quite an ordeal getting there, and parking at the villa wasn’t very easy. Just make sure you arrive in the light and with plenty of time. And Omiš probably isn’t a destination for the nervous driver. That said Omis and the Cetina river are beautiful, and we will certainly be back!

Hi Emily, thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family and being your host. It's not easy when you're driving an unfamiliar car with the steering wheel on the opposite side and less experience. I saw you were a bit scared when you arrived. You chose the worst road from the highway, despite my recommendation to go directly to Omiš then to villa. Several hundred drivers in the past 10 years from all over the world did not describe the road as such a big problem. It is not a highway, but it can be easily reached. I'm sure it's not as difficult as you wrote. I hope to see you again.

We arrived late to the villa but Denis was more than accommodating and still met us there to show us around. Gifts of home made oils, cherry brandy and fresh produce from the garden had been left for us.The villa was fantastic! We spent most of the time there around the pool area, relaxing on the hammock or sun loungers and taking frequent dips to escape the heat. The villa was super clean, beds comfy and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay.Within a 15 minute drive you are in Omiš, which is a lovely town with lots of windy cobbled streets. We visited most days... to wander, grab dinner or visit a bakery (I Gemelli 5), and to enjoy many of the water based activities (rafting, kayaking & swimming). Highly recommend Pirate Rafting for a half day fun excursion with great guides.Denis was a great host, available via WhatsApp throughout our stay. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Denis' lovely house for a stay in this beautiful part of Croatia.

Fantastic house and beautiful environments

We had an amazing week in the house. Very calm and relaxing loaction, great outdoor area by the pool and sitting area. Nice Croatian grill/fireplace. Well managed garden and beautiful view over the surrounding area to complement. Denis is an excellent host, always helpful and friendly. Denis welcomed us with lovely fresh produce from his own garden, and his home made olive oil is outstanding. He also cooked a typical Croatian Cevapi that was excellent, it made us feel really welcome. Omis is 10 km of winding road away, tried the bakery and the fishmarket (both great) but the market stands outside is a bit pricy. Denis helped arrange rafting in the Cetina river which was excellent! Strong recomendation! Finally we also tried the local restaurant Kremenko in the same village, 20 min walk from the house. It was very good, but make reservation as it is popular. We strongly recommend a visit to Denis house, we will come back if we can!

Beautiful, peaceful house in the mountains

All the reviews you have read about Villa Eagle are true. This little piece of heaven up in the mountains in Croatia really exists, eagles included. It's a beautiful house with everything you could possibly need, well stocked kitchen with a wonderful outside bbq that we used most evenings. You get the sun pratically all day, to enjoy by the pool, playing badminton or picking fruit in the garden, accompanied by Mitzko the cat. It was so relaxing and just what was needed. Denis and Branka are just lovely. So helpful and accommodating.  Helping to organise anything we wanted to do, as well as a wealth of information on just about anything; hikes, tours, local delicacies, etc. Denis prepared his peka one evening, absolutely delicious. One of the nicest hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. While there I highly recommend zip-lining, rafting and a hike to Church of Our Lady (Our Lady of Snow), Duce. So much to do. Absolutely wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back again and again.

A beautiful villa with beautiful surroundings

From the moment I booked the villa, the owner/host Denis was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, he helped with advice on car hire before we arrived and answered any questions quickly. When we was in the Villa, Denis helped booked all out activities and meals and we got the best treatment everywhere we went. Denis and his wife also cooked us a traditional Croatian meal that was out of this world. The villa is clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. We absolutely loved the outdoor pool and relaxing area. Being able to pick from Denis fruit trees was amazing the figs were the best I've ever tasted. The only thing I will say is it a 15 to 20 minute drive up from Omis(this is the local town which is beautiful and the nearest shop) on a windy and narrow road so make sure you are happy driving on these types of roads. Once you have done it a few time it becomes the norm thou. And the nearest restaurant is 20 to 25 minutes hilly walk(worth it thou amazing food). I am sad to be home and missing the villa already it really is a little piece of paradise

Outstanding

Villa Eagle is exactly what it states, an isolated piece of paradise. From before arrival and throughout our stay Dennis was a perfect host and could not have been more helpful, available when needed for tips and advice. We were welcomed with his home grown produce and made to feel at home. I can only describe the setting for villa eagle as breath taking. It truely is a stunning villa in a stunning setting. The pool and badmington kept those who wanted some activity busy , and those of us who wanted to sit and read had a perfect location. The outside bbq is great for evening meals . The villa is very secluded , but a short 15minute drive takes you back into the beautiful town of Omiš where you have beaches, boat trips, zip line, rafting etc. we did the zip line and it was great fun and also enjoyed a boat trip. We had dinner in several of the lovely places to eat. I would recommend a trip to Villa eagle to anyone looking to visit Croatia , but especially those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and get back to nature…. Also it’s a great place for catching up on sleep as there is no traffic or other noise …. It simply is perfect !

Amazing house with the kindest host!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Villa Eagle! We really enjoyed the beautiful house, garden and quiet location in the mountains. Denis is the kindest host, who welcomed us with homemade cherry wine, blackberry jam, olive oil and vegetables from the garden. He and his wife cooked a traditional meal for us all which was a great experience. Denis also helped us with taxi to the airport, dinner reservation at the traditional restaurant, Kremenko, in the nearby village and booking of river rafting. Everything was extremely clean and beautiful. This is really a great place to enjoy your vacation in beautiful Croatia. You have the spectacular mountains outside the house and a short drive through beautiful landscape to Omiš and the most amazing beaches. We will definitely be back one day. Thank you so much, Denis, for a great stay at your little peace of paradise :-)

(Also die Kontaktaufnahme, einfach fragen.)
