Lovely place

Really nice place to stay and easy walk into town Although parking could be a bit of problem in the side streets but wouldn’t deter us from staying there again

Nerja was a lovely beach town and Anna’s space checked all our boxes. The place was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. The pool was only steps away and the roof sun deck was refreshing. We were also walking distance from all sorts of shops, restaurants, and beaches. We easily rented umbrellas for our beach days but Anna had lots of beach gear to share. Her instructions and suggestions were so helpful and thorough. The only thing that was a different experience for us was the timed AC units. It wasn’t a dealbreaker though, because I’m a light sleeper. And finally, the people of Nerja were so nice! We hope to come back again soon.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed Nerja, the location, and that the house had everything you needed for a great stay. It means a lot that you appreciated the little touches and the suggestions — I always want guests to feel well taken care of. Regarding the AC timers, I completely understand that it can feel a bit different if you’re not used to it. We’ve added timers because many guests in the past have accidentally left the air conditioning running while spending the day at the beach, and we want to be mindful of both energy use and the environment. The timers help us keep the home comfortable while also being a bit more sustainable. Thank you again for being such considerate guests — and you’re warmly welcome back anytime. It would be a pleasure to host you again!

Wonderful holidays at Casa Nieve

We had perfect two weeks in Anna’s lovely guest house in Nerja! It was perfect for a family (2 adults, 2 kids). We found everything we needed for cooking, relaxing, games…. We definitely recommend this Appartement and Anna as a host!

Lovely townhouse close to the beach

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The roof terrace and outdoor patio were brilliant additional outdoor spaces and the communal pool was a really good size especially for our children. The property is in a really good location to the beach and main town/restaurants but really quite at night and early morning which again was great with keeping the children asleep! Anna was great at responding to our questions and really helpful with recommendations etc.

The property is in a lovely complex and the pool is second to none. The property had everything that was needed and was clean. Personally I would have preferred the fridge to be empty and not stocked with previous visitors leftover food, especially the out of date milk! The shopping trolley was a bonus for the supermarket shop. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks Anna

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the complex, the pool, and that the house had everything you needed for a lovely stay. I’m truly sorry about the leftover items in the fridge — that’s not the experience I want for my guests. We have now switched to a new cleaning company who makes sure the property is fully prepared and checked before every arrival, including ensuring the fridge is completely emptied and cleaned. I really appreciate you mentioning it in such a friendly way, and I’m glad it didn’t take away from your overall stay. You’re very welcome back anytime, and thank you again for choosing my place!

Lovely little house in quiet area

We had a lovely stay in this cozy property located in a pretty, quiet neighbourhood a short walk from Nerja's central area and beaches. Communication with Anna was very easy from the beginning, and we had no issues at all during our stay. Burriana beach is just 10 minutes away, even though we preferred to walk a little further to the more sandy coves around the Balcón de Europa. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen and lovely rooftop terrace. The air-conditioning works with a timer, which makes perfect sense to save energy, but it does mean that you can't leave it on all night if it's hot and humid. There is also a ceiling fan and as long as there's a breeze and you keep the window open it's fine, though. Parking can be a challenge in Nerja, but we managed to find spots near the house without much trouble.

Really nice area

On arrival at property cleaners arrived at same time so we had to leave for a couple of hours to allow them to prepare apartment. The apartment was well appointed with everything you could need. The roof terrace got the sun all day although it was right next to a school playground so it was a bit noisy at times but not really that much of a problem. Only hiccup was no uk channels on tv unless you could subscribe via your phone. We had the same thing at another property last year and was told it is commonplace in Sweden , not in the uk though. So if you want to watch anything except YouTube it will be a problem. There is a direct road down to the beach but it is very steep, you can go via heart attack hill but it’s just the same. We knew that anyway but anyone with mobility issues would need to get a taxi or avoid that area all together. The outside of the apartment is very nice, well maintained and close to the pool. All in all a great holiday, Nerja is a lovely place.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for sharing your experience. I’m really glad to hear that you enjoyed the apartment, the complex, and beautiful Nerja — it truly is a special place. I’m sorry about the timing with the cleaners on arrival, and I appreciate your patience while they finished preparing the home. Regarding the TV channels, I completely understand your point. We do make sure to mention in the listing that the house does not have international or UK channels, as this is quite common in Spain. I’m sorry if that still came as a surprise, and I appreciate you mentioning it so kindly. Thank you again for staying with us — I’m very happy you had a lovely holiday overall, and you’re warmly welcome back anytime.

Good House but...

The house in general is as described but we had several "but" that made our stay worse. 1. Cleaning was not correct. Dirty towels. The shower tray with footprints. The washing machine full of dirt. So...the first day of vacations we had to clean :( 2. Broken things in the house. Broken toilet seat (Fixed in 3 days). Broken umbrella on the roof (it had a solution but we didn't realize) 3. Air conditioning with buttons that limit the current for a maximum of 2 hours (this is crazy and more so in hot summer nights. It must to be indicated in the description. For the price you pay, it's not fair, in my own house I'm not so strict). Communication with the owner is good. She was in the process of changing the cleaning service as a result of our complaints.

We are so very sorry for you to have to clean. If you had contacted me we would of course send a cleaner to correct this. Now we have changed cleaning-company. The umbrella on the roof was not broken and we checked that direct after the departure. I have checked the house and not find any other broken things. The air-conditions are now changed so you can have them on for maximum 4 hours. This is due to the climate change and we have installed this type of sollution since some guests leave the air-condition on when they go to the beach. We hope that you will come back to Nerja another time - all the best!

Lovely home in a great location

My husband and myself spent a fortnight in Anna’s home. She is a lovely host and had left everything you could possibly need from thick socks to umberellas! Thankfully we mainly missed the rain and because we weren’t familiar with this area explored a lot by walking and trying the cheap buses to visit cities, towns and villages in the vicinity. The rooftop terrace is a real bonus when the weather is good. The beds are the most comfortable we have slept in too! We did have a problem with the power supply tripping out when we first arrived but with great communication from Anna the electrician quickly identified the problem and fixed it. But this was just one of those things. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the house and the vicinity. The only comment I would say is it’s advertised as having cable and satellite TV and with a dvd player. It doesn’t have any of these unfortunately. The large television is a smart television connected to the internet and we didn’t have the equipment to connect to it. In the instructions we were sent about the property it stated there was an ipad to connect to the television but this wasn’t provided which was disappointing. Anna did offer complimentary tapas/drinks but because we were on day trips out couldn’t take up her kind offer.

Tolle Wohnung in guter Lage

Tolle Ausstattung, toll gelegen
