Luxurious villa in the heart of Positano, which was the former home of the well-known playwright Aldo De Benedetti, situated overlooking the sea.

Villa Virginia is not located at street level, but there are stairs to reach the entrance.

Magical and suggestive place from which to fully enjoy a period of intense relaxation.
Semi-detached villa, spread over about two hundred square meters, has five magnificent rooms, each with a private panoramic terrace, from which you will enjoy a breathtaking view.

On the first floor, you will find a large garden, surrounded by fourteen impressive columns, equipped with tables and deckchairs, for exclusive use of customers.

Inside, there are elegant and refined furnishings, with ornamental objects handmade by local artisans, all accompanied by a typical Mediterranean architecture, expression of wide white vaults and majolica floors of Vietri sul Mare. Recall that the ground floor is inhabited and not available.

No less fascinating is the entire living room embellished with antique furniture, which can be accessed directly from the living area, where you will find a 'large kitchen with all the necessary facilities for a pleasant holiday.
Also from the living area, you can directly access the first double bedroom with private terrace overlooking the sea, private bathroom and related comforts.
Upstairs, you will be welcomed by a magnificent suite, consisting of a double bedroom with sea view, private bathroom and an elegant sitting room from which you access the private terrace.

From the corridor behind you can access the remaining three double bedrooms, also equipped with terraces overlooking the sea and all the amenities, including air conditioning, satellite TV and wireless connection.

Lovely place to be lulled by the 'echo of the sea and enchanting sunsets.

On request it is possible to book private dinners to enjoy typical dishes prepared with delicious specialties exclusively produced in the villa by our trusted chef.
No third- party sluppliers allowed: the services will be provided by the villa management.

All rooms have sea view, everythig was immaculate! Super well equiped! The access if your are coming by boat is a little more difficult or further, I would recommend the porter service or walking up positano by the road (not the stairs, as they are difficult if you are carrying luggage). We were recommended the usage of porters, but we thought stairs were not going to be so tiring ...

Beautiful property! Clean, attentive property manager and easy communication. Views are incredible. We came here for our homey-moon with friends right after our wedding and the host/owners were so kind and had a bouquet of flowers for us. Each room is beautiful decorated. Recommendation booking a porter service for your luggage as it’s a 5-7 min walk via steps from the main road. Beautiful and unforgettable trip :) Thank you so much!

The most amazing VRBO! I was a little concerned that it may be a little musty with the “dated” furniture, but was completely amazed at how clean and fresh everything was. The “dated” furniture quickly turned in to the most unique VRBO that just matched the era in which the villa was built. This house had it all…views for days, incredible space, comfort, and a fabulous layout for our 9 guests.

The Villa was just perfect! Very clean and lots of space, and a beautiful view. Make sure you pay for the porter service since it its quite a walk from the main street, but worth the walk! The service and communication with the manager were perfect and no surprises at all. They also arranged to have food, drinks, and wine delivered to the villa, which worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend the villa, we have been in Positano many times and loved the experience for a large group.

PERFECT villa for the family! The communication with the caretakers was really impressive - I received multiple emails in the weeks leading up to the trip, asking if I needed porter assistance with luggage (YES, get the porters to help!), tips on the area, the opportunity to hire a private chef for a dinner at the villa, check in details, etc. EXCELLENT customer service. The villa was lovely, and the view is even more stunning than the pictures can convey. We loved loved loved our time in Positano, and this villa was the perfect "base of operations" for our family of 5.

Beautiful Villa

Outstanding residence and amenities. Highly recommend that you have the chef dinner. It was phenomenal. You need the use the porter service as there are a lot of steps to and from the Villa. Positano is basically on the cliffs so be prepared for a lot of steps.

PARADISE in POSITANO

Amazing stay for our 20th wedding anniversary. Friends and family stayed at the house with us- plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy. WONDERFUL hostess, beautiful villa updated with all modern amenities, and gorgeous gardens. Daily cleaning service and plenty of common areas to relax led to a relaxing stay. Appreciated the grocery shopping done by the villa as well. HOPE TO COME AGAIN SOON!!!!

Great property and location

We had a wonderful time at the villa. Lots of steps but we enjoyed the exercise. We loved the vintage furniture and decor, it was perfect. The view was incredible, just the best. Lots of space for my husband and I, will come back with the whole family. The staff was so helpful and met us at the beginning and end of the trip and helped us in between, We were very happy.

Perfect home with an amazing view of Positano. Spacious outdoor area ideal for relaxing. Four bedrooms upstairs with very nice bathrooms. One bedroom on main floor. Very clean. Will definitely stay here again. Five Stars across the board.

Family vacation in Positano

Checking in was a breeze with our concierge (Giovanna) there to greet us at the drop off point with porters available for the luggage (needed as it is a bit of a hike to get to villa from the drop off point with stairs). Checking out was also a breeze. The property was beautiful and well located to the town of Positano (walkable to every location albeit with stairs/steps which is just part of Positano). The villa itself was a bit dated but everything worked except the shower in the master bedroom which was prone to episode of low water pressure. Plenty of hot water even with all tenants showering at the same time. Washer was critical to have and we hung clothes outside to dry which worked very well. We had a wonderful dinner at the villa arranged by Giovanna and her brother which I would say was the highlight of our stay. We all enjoyed ourselves very much during our stay and Giovanna was critical in helping us sort out travel (via Taxi by Massimo who was fantastic)

The Villa was like having a luxury 5 star hotel all to your family. 5 bedrooms with 5 baths, 4 of which were in suite bathrooms. Plus they were American High end bathrooms. The views are to die for. Balconies out of every room. Enormous Terrace with beautiful furniture like a hotel. Plus a lawn!!! No where else in Positano is flat land!! This villa had maid service every day. A full large industrial kitchen. An ice machine!! The Villa seems endless, exclusive and private. We had (10) people we never heard people downstairs or anywhere. There is a lemon tree garden and grape vines. This place is booked all year long. I was lucky enough to book it for our family vacation and did it about 4 months in advance. My kids told me I knocked it out of the park by booking this villa. Positano is so exhausting with the stairs, it’s great to have a sanctuary at Villa Virginia. The best vacation choice of my life was staying in this Villa.

Beautiful Positano villa getaway

Our villa stay was incredible. From breathtaking views to spacious rooms (and comfortable beds!) we loved every minute of our time in Positano. The amenities and location of the home were great and we had everything we needed!

Beautiful Villa

A beautiful villa with spectacular views. We stayed as a large family group. Whilst I cannot fault the location and size of the Villa we found the furniture a little worn. This did not detract from the overall exceptional experience. Teresa cleaned every day which was lovely. Chiara was more than hospitable and was in regular contact to assist with all our needs. Just some points to note: Water pressure is poor if more than 1 shower running or dishwasher/washing machine running. Hot water can run out and takes a while to come back (we were a very large group) Dishwasher tray was broken which resulted in breakage of some glasses. No sharp knives in the kitchen. Only one carving knife provided and it is very blunt. Fridge is small (we had a large group). It is big enough for a medium size group but when there are 10 people it was too small. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and, as noted above, unfortunately broke 4 wine glasses largely due to the dishwasher drawer falling. As a result they removed all wine glasses from the Villa for the rest of our stay. Given the amount of money we paid to stay there for a week we found that behavior a little disappointing. Again, the villa and location is beautiful and worthy of a 5 star rating.

Wonderful home in Positano! You won’t find this much space anywhere else in town. The terraces and garden are huge and have stunning views. The perfect place for a family stay in Positano.

A slice of heaven

This property is the perfect place for a large family or group. It features tons of outdoor space overlooking Positano, which we enjoyed using. The rooms are comfortable and spacious featuring private balconies with excellent views. The bathrooms were all updated and we found them very nice. Our bedrooms and bathrooms were cleaned each day and laundry was done too. The villa is HUGE and was in a perfect location for our family. Kiaretta was welcoming and helped us with all our needs.
