Ample space and a stone throw away from the beach! Excellent apartment, very clean and fully functional kitchen which was very important for us. Many places to eat out all around as well. So much to do especially with young children, lots of fun activities and reasonably priced too. Would definitely go and again and highly recommend to everyone :)

We followed our hosts directions to the parking spot and had no problems but it was tricky. The spot is small and you have to be kind and park close to your neighbour to leave space for other parking. The apartment was clean and spacious for the 4 of us and we were comfy. There are very few cooking supplies so bring what you need if your going to cook. Althought the apartment is comfy and in a lovely spot, there isn't a beach view but if you take short walk you'll be at the beach.

Great experience

Fabulous property, well equipped and at the back of the main Seaview apartments. Lots of steps too the front door and inside 5 steps to the lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The weather was very good and the apartment was a very good base for us to go sightseeing around the island to our favourite places. Thanks

Our stay was on the whole very good apart from the bedding not crisp clean looks like they thought these customers only here for 2 nights leave sheets pillowcases save washing which is a shame also a non slip bath mat would have been great as it was not very easy getting out of bath Apart from that all was good Could not find dish washer instructions If these things were amended then I would have no hesitation in recommending

Thanks for your review. I’m very upset to hear you didn’t think the bedding was fresh as we would never expect guests to reuse bedding. It’s a shame you didn’t inform us at the start of your stay so that we could have rectified any problems, we are always available to respond to issues. I’m sorry to only learn of your disappointment in your review. Best wishes Dawn

Little gem

Lovely property, large, clean apartment, kitchen & bathrooms looked new. Nice touch to have milk, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Plenty of items to use during your stay, chairs, beach mats etc. use of the garden, and there is parking!!! Ideal spot just above the Esplande. Communication with Dawn was great, directions to the property very clear, key collection was easy from key safe. Loved our stay here and have booked to return already!

Ventnor Holiday

Location is excellent, and Ventnor is a lovely place to stay. Property is as described, and whilst there are many steps these are more than manageable for those who do not have mobility issues. We stayed in an extremely hot period and did not make use of kitchen and dining room, as both were quite small and the thought of cooking in the heat was not appealing. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all as described. We didn't plan to make use of shared garden or BBQ, however some further detail on its location, how to access it, garden lights etc would have been helpful.

The retired (nearly)

Nice property in lovely location and suited us well for our short stay. Well kitted out with everything you need. Two downfalls 1. We had completely underestimated the number of steps both to the property and once in the property. 2. Nothing to do with the property but the local road works were difficult to navigate. In fact put The Met into your Sat Nav not the property postcode then follow your written instructions otherwise you may find yourself going round in endless circles. We would stay again but would love to be at the front of the property as the views are fantastic

Hi Tina, so glad you loved our place and found it well kitted out with everything you needed. We do try to make it clear in our descriptions that our location on the hillside awards us our fantastic views but is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are lots of steps everywhere. Most people really love our location in between the beach and town, but hillside living is not for everyone! And yes, unfortunately when you stayed we were struggling with temporary road closures which are totally out of our control. I do always send clear instructions in the arrival details, but perhaps you chose to follow your own sat nav instead? We are hoping the road works will be completed soon which will make it easier to navigate. Yes, please do come back and try one of the front facing apartments, they are much smaller than the one you booked but the sea views are amazing!

Seashell apartment - 3 bedrooms.

Both the apartment (and the local area) have lots of steps, and this adds to the interesting layout of the property. We were 5 adults and found the separate rooms for kitchen, dining and living rooms very spacious. No sea views, but still excellently located for beach and town. Well maintained. Recommended.

Excellent if you are not fussy about the view

The apartment was spotlessly clean, probably the cleanest self catering apartment I have ever been in. The kitchen was very well equipped and the milk in the fridge on arrival was a very nice and welcomed touch!. All the rooms are very nicely decorated and the beds are fairly comfortable. The instructions for arrival and check in/check out were perfect and completely accurate. There are quite a few steps up to the apartment and I would say are worth it for the view, unfortunately the apartment we were in had no view! We overlooked the inner courtyard so our view was of other apartments and the stairs. It did not bother us too much but it did mean that we didn’t spend much time on the balcony. Overall the apartment was really good value for money and would definitely recommend. Just be aware of the step access and potential to have no view.

The property is very spacious and well spaced out. The lounge is very cozy and the hanging chair is very relaxing for all ages. The kids made use of your story books and the whole family enjoyed building your puzzles. This property is ideal for a family vacation.

Excellent location, great apartment

Lovely holiday. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment which was ideal for us. (Couple with three older children). Light & bright, enjoyed the quirky layout, plenty of space to spread out, (steps no problem for us). Equipped with everything we needed, comfy beds, two bathrooms, level private parking (although roads very steep). We did not have the seaview but were metres from the seafront and minutes from town centre. Ventnor is a lovely town, not as busy as Sandown and Shanklin. Fantastic fish dinner at the Smoking Lobster at the bottom of the path to the seafront. Also great steak at The Bistro and fab burgers and pizza from Stripped. Great base for exploring the island, walked to Steephill Cove, short drives to many attractions. Daughter found a fantastic fossil on the Island Gems hunt. Highly recommended, would love to go back.
