Location, location, location-the apartment did not disappoint. It’s steps away from Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Battlo, Casa Mila, shops, restaurants & excellent public transit to Parc Güell, Sagrada Familia, and train from the airport to Passeig de Gràcia station. Easy walk from the apartment to the Gothic Quarter. Our street was quite quiet, and we felt safe at night.Anastasia of Habitat Apts welcomed us. She was friendly and provided great info about the area. Pros: apartment layout great–loved the pocket doors sectioning off the bedroom & the “cozy” elevator ride to the 3rd floor; apartment was bright, clean and airy, bed comfortable & shower pressure fantastic. Cons: doors to bedroom balcony wouldn't open so we couldn’t use the table and chairs (not sure why they were on that balcony instead of the balcony shown on the VRBO website), and closet doors didn’t slide properly (both were supposed to be fixed when we were there but were not); black table in the bedroom has seen better days; empty salt and pepper shakers in kitchen drawer; 24hr secured parking is very expensive & lane-splitting motorbikes are craaazy! You can take a train from Barcelona to Montserrat. We drove and parked at Monistrol de Montserrat (free parking at the bottom of the mountain) & took the cogwheel train up to the monastery (buy return ticket) so we could enjoy the views-friends advised to avoid driving to the top if you have a fear of heights or don’t’ want to develop one ;)

Great Location

Apartment was clean, safe and in a great location. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and sights within minutes of the apartment. I would stay there again. My wife and I loved having a meal or drink on the small balcony. Gaudi’s Batllo House was just down the street. Just wish the owners left more toilet paper and paper towels.

Excellent location in Exiampia

This is a great apartment for 2 people. Very centrally located off Passage de Gracia on a fairly quiet street. Apt was clean and check in was easy. Located on the 3rd floor accessible bia small elevator (customary in Spain). Kitchen was fullequipped with disheasher and laundry.

Nice and well located

On a pedestrian street yet close to metro, shopping. Quiet at night. Spacious with a king size bed. The only negative was the water heater. most of the time the water was lukewarm despite our efforts with the settings of the shower.

This property was in an excellent location and for two friends, the apartment had all the amenities. It was so close to the metro and to beautiful shopping areas and to Gaudi’s Battlos. My only caution is the noise. Even though we were high up the noise all hours of the night can be a bit much. However, they were also celebrating 100 years of Gaudí with concerts every evening at Battlos so maybe the timing was unusual. But I would absolutely book this place again and bring ear plugs. Location and amenities superb. Also shout out to Marcella who greeted us and allowed early check in.

Hello, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that the apartment’s location and amenities made your stay enjoyable — especially being so close to the metro, shopping areas, and the iconic Casa Batlló. We truly appreciate your understanding regarding the nighttime noise, especially during such a special celebration like the 100-year anniversary of Gaudí. Your tip about ear plugs is a great idea for light sleepers during festive periods. A big thank you for the kind words about Marcella — we’ll be sure to pass along your shout-out! We’d love to welcome you back anytime. Warm regards, Habitat Apartments

Great apt in Barcelona

Loved this apt’s location and layout. Close to transportation and short walk to plaza de Caytalunya, 1 block from famous Battlo House. Great restaurants right on the block (Tapas Nolla) and 2245. Mini mart right across the street and another right around the corner. Easy check-in and helpful customer service (coordinating off-time check-in). Comfortable bed and small but sufficient kitchen & bathroom. Even did a load of laundry while there. Enough room to cook in a few nights. Highly recommend this property it made our first stay in beautiful Barcelona truly memorable!!!

Excellent location but needed more cleaning

Couldn't have asked for better location. Perfect to access shops, restaurants and anything. Apartment is good for 2 people although it was just me. But, it wasn't as clean. Floors and beds were clean but, kitchen refrigerator had mold inside, closet shelves were dusty, there were dirty fingerprint marks on light switches and doors. dinning table class had food spill under. I sent email after I checked in listing all the stufff and got no response. Water heater stopped working and had to replace it and next day it started leaking. Took couple days to clean up and sanitize.

Barcelona July 25-29 2019

The apartment was fabulous. Exactly as shown in the pictures. Modern, clean and nicely furnished. It was at the top of the main square and central to all major attractions and trains. All amenities were great especially AC with the hot weather. There was plenty of toilet paper and shampoo/soap, detergent and dish washer tablets. They thought of everything. Other places we had to purchase these. We were given a welcome package with tea, biscuits, oil and vinegar which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this property. The property team was responsive and very nice. Thank you vrbo for making our Barcelona stop so memorable.
