The location was perfection!! Check-in was super easy and it was just as cute as the pictures showed. It is up a turret staircase, which was much more whimsical without luggage in tow. The rooms were a good size and I appreciated they provided fans for air movement in both bedrooms and being able to open windows to let in cold air was great. Definitely would recommend!

Apartment was in a great location, right on the Royal Mile! Lovely apartment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It would be helpful to list what the stairway is like to the apartment .Had a marvelous time!

Great place. We stayed six nights and with the central location, getting around was easy. Highly recommended. I would stay there again.

I wish there was more information about the access to the apartment. I knew it was on the 2nd floor and that there wouldn’t be an elevator due to the age of the building. We were not aware of the spiral stone staircase without a hand rail. Very narrow and difficult to climb with luggage, golf clubs and a baby. Took several trips to get everything upstairs. Need to be in great shape for this. Otherwise, the apartment was clean and ready when we arrived. Great location!

Excellent in every way!

Perfect place to stay to enjoy Edinburgh. Amazing location with a terrific layout and has everything you need! Would 100% recommend and we hope to stay there again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Three nights with two grandsons

Wonderful location to enjoy the Royal Mile. It’s a very short walk to Edinburgh Castle. Very clean. Great communication. Enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

Property as described. Great location. Steep climb up 2 flights of stairs to room on tight circular stairwell, but part of the charm. Well appointed, comfortably furnished rooms. Would stay again.

Perfect location!

The flat was right on royal mile. It was a great location. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect as I was traveling with my parents. The flat was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Royal Mile

Our family had a terrific time staying in this flat in this location. The flat is gorgeous and extremely clean and cozy. Paul was very accommodating and gave us great advice about the area, including suggestions on what to do and places to eat.

Can't beat the location!

This is simply the best location you'll find for a stay in Edinburgh, you're just steps away from Edinburgh Castle! We felt like we were in a fairytale just sipping tea and looking out our front window. You can wander these streets for hours and always find something to look at. Having a full apartment with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms was wonderful for our family, and it felt very private and not like we were on top of each other the whole trip. I would stay here again.

Amazing location, beautiful and comfortable apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated being right on the Royal Mile, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the castle. The Jolly Judge pub next door was incredibly scenic and cozy and we also enjoyed the live music at Ensign Ewart’s pub just a minute’s walk up the street. Sunrise from the overlook at the castle is amazing and there’s a gorgeous hike up Arthur’s seat at the bottom of the Royal Mile. A great place to take it all in!

Great Location

Great location on Royal Mile. Stairs were something for us seniors with luggage but we knew that going in. Loud neighbors a couple of times. Overall a nice place to stay.

Girls weekend in Edinburgh

A charming apartment in a premier location on the Royal Mile. We were able to walk to all sites. Clean, updated rooms, appliances and facilities. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. We had absolutely no issues or concerns.

The ambience of an older building was so much fun and such a great location to stay in. once there we literally can walk anywhere The beautiful circular stairs are gorgeous but if you have someone that has trouble with stairs, this is something you should know

Perfect Location

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. If you want to be right in the center of the action, this is the spot. There are endless choices to eat and drink right outside the door. OK, the stairs are a challenge especially if you have been down to the Jolly Judge for a couple of pints, but it's worth it. We spent a lot of time with either a cup of coffee or a glass of wine just people watching out the front window. Would definitely return to stay again.

Edinburgh Marathon stay

Came in with my family for the Edinburgh Marathon.The host was very easy to work with and the location is great. We have visited Edinburgh the last three years in a row and know the area well. However I feel there are a few things lacking and some issues with overall cleanliness of the unit, especially in the bathrooms. That said, we would return and rent this flat again.

Location is Everything!!!

We loved our stay in this apt. Location Amazing. Steps from the castle and so much more. We did feel that there could have been more info left. Owner does have a manual with restaurants/menus & mapping, however it would have been nice to have local phone #s for taxis, emergency etc. That being said I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I do not think you could find a better location.

What an amazing place

We absolutely loved this place. It is right in the heart of the royal mile. Easy access to everything. The place was very clean. It must have been redone in the past few years. The place was big enough for us - family of 5 with 3 teens. Communication with the host was excellent. I probably sent him a few more emails than what he liked as our arrival times changed but he was always gracious and quick to reply. I would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars from this family.
