Giglio Oro er en nyrenoveret, meget moderne og ungdommelig lejlighed beliggende i via Gioberti i Firenze kun en kort afstand fra Piazza Santa Croce-området.
Huset ligger i en prestigefyldt gade med mange butikker, i et dejligt boligkvarter beliggende lige uden for ringvejen og det begrænsede trafikområde.

The apartment is in a great location and is within walking distance to Florence. There are also lovely local cafes and shops just on the doorstep. We were met on arrival and all things in the apartment were explained to us.

Smooth check in, and initial communication with management company, but that was cut-and-paste. When issues started the maintenance company stopped replying/caring and management too until after check out. Too hot in main room, no one ever came to look at A/C, probably trying to wait for us to finish our 2-day stay. Good location/price. Too hot at night (28-29 celcius), no sponge for dishes, bathroom water faucet loose, Stove didn’t work after first use. Overall disappointing for a decent location and beautiful interior.

We booked this room to have a kitchen to do most of our cooking. And when we got there, we discovered there was no microwave or toaster, and then when we went to cook on the stovetop, it did not work correctly. when you would try to use more than one burner you could not control the temperatures independently. We did inform them that the stove top induction burners were not working in hopes They would fix it for the next guests. When we asked about a microwave and toaster, we were told we should have requested that before arriving and we would have gotten another room. This was our first accommodation in Italy that didn't have them. The pillows were all worn out and they and some of the warmer blankets smell bad and need washing and pillows need replaced. the couch cushions were dirty and gross and didn't stay in place. The water temperature in the shower did not stay consistently hot and would get cold randomly. The place was not as pictured and quite disappointing for the nightly cost. The air conditioner in the kitchen was very loud and sounded like it was struggling. The highlights of this place are the location and the amazing cafe and baristas and the la luna restaurant downstairs on either side of the entrance!

Loved this property!

Location was great, easy to get to bus stops to go any place in Florence. It was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed staying here and the restaurant below the apartment was very good. This was our favorite place we stayed while in Italy.

Great location

Great location, nice apartment. Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Had a lot of trouble getting any type of transportation like a taxi to get to where we needed to go from here but able to walk to most everywhere.

Very cute and modern place to stay!

Apartment was very clean and looked amazing! Everything worked flawlessly. Very close to many shops and restaurants. About a 30 min walk from the duomo and the david. Slept five without a problem.

Nice place

This property was clean and updated. It was easy to communicate with host. It was in a quiet area. The only downside was that it was a 20-30 minute walk to everything we wanted to see.

The perfect place!

This apartment is absolutely perfect! The neighborhood is amazing and has ever you need. The windows in the apartment overlook the patio seating for the pizza place next door. The bus stop is close and we had the absolute best time here. The host is amazing. 100% recommend!

Great Location

Great little place just a short walk outside the city center. About 10-15 minutes of walking to the Duomo. The area is more suburban and quiet than the inner city. There are several parking garages within walking distance if you have a vehicle. A very delicious Pizza place is right next door for dinner.

Good but Great on the horizon.

Nice location out of the fully tourist area but still walkable for those who like to walk. So nicely decorated but...the beds were very uncomfortable, the ceiling leaked, the induction stove needs clear instructions and would be easier with actual induction cookware. Great restaurant below(was not noisy late). Mosquitos also coming in from somewhere...not a new problem-signs of them killed on the walls.

Loved our stay! So cute. Perfect location away from city center but close enough to walk. Toilet was broken for first day but quickly fixed. No extra supplies so make sure you purchase toilet paper as there were only two rolls. Very cute!! Thank you Edoardo

Walkable to everything!

The apartment was nice and local to everything. Walking to destinations was easy and felt local but also we were close to the action. Apartment had lots of mosquitos and the air conditioner for the room with two single beds was behind the wall? Was pretty uncomfortable for me staying in that room. Other room and living room pullout was fine and AC hit good. Pros: Location, cleanliness, and easy communication. Cons: Mosquitos (out of their control) and the AC for the second room.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Location was excellent! Shops, restaurants, and downtown were very close. The apartment had all the amenities. The only bad thing was the cleaning of the apartment. The floor especially was extremely dirty. I will also have someone a bit more friendly to greet guests upon arrival. The person who greeted us was a bit rude.

Great location, but so dirty.

We arrived in Florence later than what check-in was, but we communicated what time we were set to arrive with the host (also adding we did not have a phone plan so we could only message when we had wifi). The person letting us into the apartment was late, these things happen, but we had just been traveling all day with two young kids so it was off to a bad start. We were let in to the apartment only to find it was not yet cleaned (check-in was at 2pm and this was around 5pm), we were told to leave all our bags and go eat and the place would be cleaned within an hour and a half. As we were finding a place to leave our bags that was not completely filthy, the cleaners arrived and told us they would be done in 20 minutes. I told them to please take their time, not to rush, we would go for dinner and come back in a couple hours. When we got back I could see they couldn't have taken longer than 20 minutes. The floors were SO dirty, all the high touch areas (door handles and door frames, light switches, etc) were caked on with dirt--I had some antibacterial wipes and used those to scrub the dirt off these areas, and there was a VERY thick layer of dust on all the decor and tops of cabinets. The extra blankets looked like they were disposable and were all ripped and one was very stained. It was very disappointing how dirty everything was, even the walls were completely scuffed up--nothing like the crisp looking apartment from the photos. All that said, it was a great location.

This is a very charming apt. Great location - close to a supermarket, restaurants, and shopping. Cleanliness: Overall everything was fresh and clean with the exception of the washing machine. When I opened it up to use it, it was very wet and had a pair of someone else's wet socks in there. It smelled so bad that I couldn't bring myself to wash our clothes in it. I did make the management aware of this situation, and hopefully they've addressed the issue for future guests. During our stay, we had issues with the toilet frequently not flushing and the shower would back up to our ankles when we used it. I contacted management about these things and they were very quick to communicate and offered to send the handyman to fix the problems, which we appreciated. Afterwards, the toilet flushed again but only temporarily. However, the shower still did not drain properly. Accuracy of listing: It says there is an oven. There is an induction stove top, but no oven. It also says that there is a coffee maker. This is not entirely accurate. There is a stovetop espresso maker, however it is not compatible with the induction stove top and therefore useless. There were also many pots and pans available, but most of them were useless bc they were not induction compatible. Another point I feel the need to point out: The person who checked us in was trying to tell us not to use the AC. We did not appreciate this bc AC is the main reason we selected this apt.

Fantastic neighborhood, great price for a family, well appointed. The hosts were responsive and kind.Had some occasional WiFi issues and you should be aware that the only way to heat food in the apartment is an induction stove, but the pans are not compatible with an induction stove, so you may have to be creative with a pot.Everything else was very good.

Jolie renovation et situation ideal

Tres jolie appartement renove avec gout et functionel.Tres bon emplacement pres des commerces, courte distance a pied des principales attractions et bus.Un peu brouillant le soir (cela donne sur la cour dune pizzeria) mais ca ferme assez tot meme en weekendPar contre attention aux moustiques !!!! La litterie merite detre remplacee
