Hello Zulema, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that the home did not meet your expectations. While the listing does not state that the property is a beachfront property (it stated that it has beachfront Gulf view - which is correct), I understand how this may have caused some disappointment upon arrival, especially on a busy day at the public beach. Note that all Texas beaches are public beaches. In Sea Isle beach, the city installed sand bolsters to stop vehicles from driving in front of the houses. I also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the heavy rain and the door sweep not holding up as intended. We will have this checked right away to help prevent this from happening again for future guests. Your comments are very valuable to us, and we’ll continue working to make each stay as comfortable as possible. I hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future. Warm regards,

Hello Jeremy, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Noted, we will get an educated opinion and do the appropriate reinforcement if recommended. The houses in Galveston are designed with a specific live load for the structure when that live load is exceeded there might be some flexure which is normal when properly designed. The houses in Galveston are also designed to have flexure in high wind and hurricane conditions. The flexure acts like a damper to help the house from being blown away. thank you again and have a great day.

We plan to put a gate again before next season starts. Thanks for this feedback. House Size is always declared in the listing. I believe the house size is very good for a beachfront house and with the rate I charge. Most guests prefers to stay outside when weather permits.

Thanks for taking time to review. We will look into the things you've mentioned specifically the one stair step (we didn't noticed this when we were there). Sorry about the grass, my cleaner supposed to get it mowed but I guess she forgot to call the mower. I will remind her. I'm glad you enjoyed your vacations.

Thank you for your feedback. Late last year, we replaced some deck furnitures and added a picnic table. (picture will be updated later) We also added an enclosure to our outdoor shower. The bedsheets are cleaned every change of guests. I mentioned your feedback to my cleaner and she said it was washed every change of guests. I'll be more pro-active that this policy is always followed and also with the mowing schedule (sorry, my mower is not very good in following schedule). Btw, the cleaning fee is just increased to $200 starting Jan 24, 2019 so last year when you stayed it was only $150.

Thank you for taking the time to review. We always do our yearly updates before the rental season starts. October (when you arrived) is towards the end of the peak season. Sorry, before your arrival we removed some of the outdoor chairs because it got damaged by guest and didn't have time to replace. The outdoor furniture is now replaced (vrbo listing pic not updated yet). The outlet in bathrooms will be added.
