Terrific space. great floor layout. The kitchen was very well stocked with dinnerware and pots and pans.It was enough for a party of ten. Very close to beach access, which is nice because you have to pay for parking now at these access points. The pool was very nice.

Beautiful Beach Stay

The property was lovely: very clean and well stocked, especially the kitchen. It was a very short walk to the beach access, which was so convenient. The 2 living areas offered ample seating areas for teens and parents to spend time apart. Carol was very easy to contact and made our stay that much more enjoyable!!

The house and pool were fantastic and everything as advertised. The very short walk to the beach was much appreciated as well. Getting there early was a plus because it is a somewhat crowded beach.

Great week

We had a fabulous week and enjoyed the rental property! Everything was perfect. We especially enjoyed the two separate living areas! If I could add anything I would have a few beach chairs to share and a couple extra throw blankets for the living areas.

Family beach vacation

Very lovely home with well-equipped kitchen. Great space for our extended family of 11. The pool area was just right for our young grandkids. Really easy walk to the beach. Carol is a great host. She responded to our questions quickly and gave us a really great I’d recommendation for a photographer for family photos on the beach. We likely won’t return to Ocean Isle but would definitely stay at Carol’s place again.

Carol’s house was beautiful! We loved the layout and 2 living areas as well as the outdoor decks overlooking the wonderful pool area. The kitchen was fully stocked. This is the best stocked kitchen of any vacation home we have ever stayed in. Very convenient beach access close to the house. Carol was easy to communicate with as a host. Highly recommend this house for a stay at Ocean Isle.

Thank you for your review. I notified you that the bed was broken by the previous renter and planned to send a repair person to correct it. You notified me that you had Covid and asked that we not do the repair as the bed would not be used. The bed was repaired when you checked out on Saturday as you requested.

Beautiful Place To Spend your Vacation!

This was our first time staying at this home but I hope it won’t be our last. When you enter the house, you immediately feel welcome. We had so much fun sitting on the decks talking or quietly reading in one of the two living areas. The foosball table was a hit with the family as the little ones watched as we relived our youth! Our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the bunk bed room being right beside their room. They could easily check on our young grandsons and the bathroom was located between the two bedrooms. The private pool was very nice and there was plenty of chairs there as well. The location of the house is great. The beach is a very easy walk. Carol was so easy to communicate with about the reservations and the details via email. This house has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, the linens are included which is also a plus. Don’t hesitate to make reservations for this house.

The house was simply beautiful! Carol was quick to respond to any and all questions. We all said the mattresses were super comfortable. Lots of outdoor covered space to use when Mother Nature didn’t agree with our plans. There is the largest selection of deck and pool chairs and loungers. The pool had the sun from morning until late afternoon. It was super warm!! Even the pool company she used, the person was so friendly. Great place to stay!!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely rent this home again! The location is fantastic…just a short, easy walk to the beach. The layout was perfect for our group, with every bedroom having its own en suite bathroom plus half baths on each level, making it comfortable and convenient for everyone. The pool was a highlight: clean, a good size for our group, and surrounded by plenty of cushioned seating in both sunny and shaded areas. The house was very clean, well-stocked with games, books, and toys, and check-in/check-out was seamless. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with.A few minor changes could make an already great property even better though. Some mattresses appear older and have noticeable indentations. The covered pool area would be even more enjoyable with a TV, and the deck could use some attention (some areas felt unstable, and our 3 y/o unfortunately got a giant splinter from rough boards). We also couldn't get the 2nd-floor TV to work, possibly due to the Roku or remote. Our biggest surprise was that bed linens and bath towels were not provided (only disclosed in an info sheet sent about two months before our stay, not in the original listing). Packing linens and bath towels in addition to beach towels was inconvenient and is something future guests should be aware of before booking.Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives. This is a spacious, clean, well-equipped home in an excellent location, and we'd happily stay here again.
