I enjoyed the experience living so close to the Danube river. Close to all amenities. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Fantastic couple of days.

The property was exactly as we expected: spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and fresh bedlinens, mid-century furniture, lovely wooden floors and lots of books (including guidebooks to Budapest/Hungary), all located in a very quiet building with an interesting history. Extra towels were supplied in case we wanted to go to the baths, which we did. There was plenty of hot water at all times of day. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped and perfectly adequate for preparing some simple meals (there are several supermarkets, a greengrocer's and a bakery nearby).There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood and entertainment in the form of a Jazz Club just around the corner and a cinema across the bridge. Tram and bus connections are also close by, simple to use and very regular. Jozsef and Janos are excellent, friendly hosts, who go out of their way to welcome you and provide useful information on the area and Janos provided us with a personalised tour to parts of the city we were particularly interested in. I highly recommend booking him. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

The location worked really well for us. Check-in process began outside with a brief overview of the neighborhood which was appreciated. The apartment is in a quiet area of town, close to the river and many great places to eat. We were very comfortable and felt well taken care of.

Wonderful stay and very helpful hosts

Very comfortable accommodations. The Hosts were very helpful. The location is convenient to all tourist attractions via public transportation. We enjoyed our stay. We give to this place and host 10 star and will be back

The apartment is lovely and kept in excellent condition. The hosts were also extremely friendly and their recommendations for things to do / places to eat were fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely time in Budapest, the local recommended restaurant is good. The apartment was in a beautiful traditional building and the hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of useful information.

Gracious place

We had a lovely, lovely stay at this clean and comfortable apartment in a fascinating, historical building in a clean, safe and gorgeous neighborhood. Our hosts made us feel at home and they provided us with all kinds of great information about Hungary’s history and the things to see. We recommend this lovely place to everyone.

Excellent host!! Property ideally located within walking distance to all the main attractions!

I would definitely rent again next time I come to Budapest! Janoush and jozsef were very accommodating with lots of useful information. They even reserved a restaurant for us, they went out of their way to accommodate us. I'll go back to Budapest because of their hospitality!

Great location, very nice apartment

The apartment is walking distance from Parliament, trams, and buses. In a very nice neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The hosts are very helpful, greeting you in person and going over local information and house rules. The apartment is very nice and clean with useful kitchen. Best place in Budapest for a couple.

Wonderful Experience!

This was mine and my husband's first trip to Budapest and it was perfect. Janos and Jozsef are wonderful hosts. They are warm, welcoming, informative and very responsive. The apartment is in a wonderful neighbourhood filled with shops and restaurants and is perfectly situated for exploring almost everywhere on foot. Thank you so much Janos and Jozsef for your wonderful hospitality.

Excellent little apartment in perfect location.

Lovely and very clean little apartment, in fantastic location.Owners were excellent at responding to questions before arrival. They also arranged my transport from and to the airport. My flight was very delayed, but they very kindly waited for me and explained everything I needed to know about the appointment. The appointment has everything you could possibly need for your stay, and hosts were happy to help with anything extra you could possibly need.I would highly recommend the personal tours on offer with Janos. I had excellent time and will be definitely coming back.

Feel like home

The flat is very well located. Just a few minutes from the parliament, tram lines and located in an area full of little shops and cafes to eat. The owners were SO, so so kind. They take care of you and thoroughly explain how the city is and are available for anything you may want or need. Excellent in every way. Thank you so much for everything and you certainly have 2 friends in Spain!

Old World Charm with Wonderful Hosts

The apartment is perfect, just as described…comfortable with good beds and linens. Useful items in kitchen and bathroom including a clothes washer. Great location…short walk to trams, Danube, parks, interesting restaurants and cafes. Best part was the very helpful and friendly hosts who eased our way into enjoying all that Budapest has to offer. Very helpful in recovering our delayed luggage. Always knew they could be reached if needed.

You must stay here in Budapest

When you want to be close to everything and yet far enough away to enjoy some quiet at the end of the day, this is the perfect place. Set in an historic building at the edge of the bustling city, you’ll find this quiet neighborhood a perfect location to start your exploration of Budapest. Janos, the host could not have been nicer! Make sure to spend some time talking with him upon your arrival, he’s full of terrific recommendations and will be on hand to answer your questions during your stay. Overall, we had a terrific time at this property and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Do choose this listing, you won’t regret it!

Best hosts EVER

The hosts are amazing, super friendly and quick to communicate with us. Had we needed anything in the apartment or around town, they had offered their help. When we informed them of our plans for the city, they asked if they could review them with us and we soon had a map of the city they had marked up for us with suggested routes and tram lines numbered everywhere. The location was near most everything and the apartment was perfect. If I moved to Budapest, I’d want that apartment and location. 6 stars, will book again.

Stay in Budapest

Jozsef and Janos are some of the best property managers we have rented from. They were friendly, spoke excellent English, had a lot of well organized information to see the highlights of Budapest. They are very passionate about their country, the history of Hungary, their culture. The property was very clean and very comfortable. It had all the amenities of a home away from home. The location allowed very easy access to the Budapest public transportation which made it easy to get to all the places we wanted to explore. Many excellent restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away. A prime VRBO property if you are visiting Budapest. THANK YOU - Jozsef and Janos for allowing us to stay in the apartment.

You are truly in the best hands with the owners. They coordinated our transportation from the airport and it was seamless. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly. I’ve stayed in a lot of rental units & honestly, I've never felt so genuinely taken care of. This was our 1st trip to Budapest, and they made sure we felt confident right away. They walked us through everything — including the GOBudapest transportation app (& patiently sat with us until we had it figured out). They had recommendations, maps, and tips ready to go, which made exploring the city so easy. They even showed us how to use the washer & the locks (doors are definitely a little different than in the US!) so when they left, we felt totally comfortable & settled. The apartment was SO comfortable. The bed was amazing, tons of natural light, and plenty of space to move around. When we opened the windows it was quiet, peaceful, and honestly just lovely. The shower was great - hot water & strong pressure (which always matters!). The kitchen had it all & the building was quiet, charming, & felt very “Budapest.” Having a washer is the best Location is ideal. When we return, we will be right back there again! They even woke up early to say goodbye and truly cared about our experience. They’ve been doing this for over 20 years, but there was nothing “routine” about the way they host — it felt personal, thoughtful, & incredibly welcoming. 5 stars in every way.

Ho soggiornato qui per una settimana e non vedo l'ora di tornarci!L'appartamento è estremamente comodo ai servizi ed in una zona strategica per raggiungere qualsiasi cosa: il Parlamento, la crociera sul Danubio... Il quartiere è pulito e offre tutti i servizi. Jozsef e Janos sono degli host magnifici: gentili, accoglienti, disponibili e sempre pronti a rispondere alle mie domande e curiosità. Ho scoperto,, anche grazie a loro, Budapest, una città magnifica, con gente magnifica!Alla prossima!
